Wonderful place to stay in the middle of town. Can't fault it at all. And a lovely touch from owner Nigel, a drink of your choice on arrival

The property is very old and full of character. With that comes as expected, lots of steps/stairs and uneven floors. Our room was a little cramped but pleasant, and the breakfast was lovely. The location is great - a couple of minutes walk from the castle and river, and right in the quaint town centre. Parking is limited outside the property but we managed to get the last one.

The room was compact but warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the use of a bathrobe. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and a quirky use of crockery
