Stayed 2 nights

Stayed here after hiking parts of Wonderland Trail. It’s a little old and not many amenities but was just right for me and obviously much more economical than staying closer to the park. Breakfast was great and employees were friendly and helpful.

Everything at the motel was really clean. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast tables and office area were clean. Very good staff here. Everything looked nice and was in good working order. Front desk was kind and helpful. The tv's are a bit on the small side, but the larger mini-fridge was great, and I wish more hotels had these. Our stay was comfortable and quiet with no noticeable road or neighbor noise. Has a nice Mexican restaurant and an EV fast charger in the same lot. Highly recommended for the price.

There was a sandwich in the fridge when we got there from a different lodger and a used coffee pod still in the Keurig. Made me think they don’t pay attention to details. Also, We got locked out of our room the second night and had to use the after hours service. She seemed irritated that she had to get us a new key. Not sure what happened that we couldn’t get into the room that we paid 2 nights for. Could use more lighting, the room was a bit dark and no light above the door outside to see well for unlocking the door.

Just a quick stop along the way. A good old style US motel. All what you need. Met the expectations.

We wanted a location close enough to Mt. Rainier National Park, without going broke, and this mostly worked. The staff were friendly, the included breakfast was good (sausage, DIY waffles, etc.), big parking lot (free), room was clean, nice mini-split a/c worked (August). Would have preferred a king-sized bed (we had a queen), and the shower was at least a foot too low (I’m not even 6 ft. tall). The shower temperature fluctuated hot/cold while showering. The Mexican Restaurant next door was a big plus, and nearby grocery store was also good.
