Room was clean and comfy. Bed was comfy as well. Hot water in shower took about 10 minutes to get hot. Not much around the hotel. The golf course behind the hotel didn't appear to be in good shape. I was looking forward to swim, but the pool and hot tub were unavailable due to repairs needed. The breakfast was tasty and was happy to see menudo.

My family and I stayed here to break up our drive as we were moving to Fort Worth from Arizona. The hotel was overall a good experience. We were sad to hear that the pool was closed especially in the summer time as our kids love swimming so that was definitely something that was a let down for us. But overall the service that we received there was good. It was a clean and good place to sleep for the night.

Stayed here for 5 days. Overall was a good stay. Good complementary breakfast. Comfortable bed. Pool heater was supposedly broken, water was cold! This was a reason I picked this hotel was for the indoor pool. Back bbq atea outside could use attention. It was dirty and full trash cans. I would stay here again as long as pool heater is working.

Staff was nice, helpful and professional. The A/C/heater worked well but was noisy. Enjoyed the workout center. very nice and clean. I think the housekeeping staff is doing their best but there are signs that the property is starting to get a bit dated. I thought the elevator was the dirtiest part of the hotel.

We had just arrived and were sitting in the lobby when an employee who comes in at 11. Yelled at us to leave. He hadn’t even clocked in but immediately yelled to us in a very rude manner to leave because the lobby was closed. However the lobby doesn’t have an signage saying the lobby was closed or that we needed to leave. It was a very unpleasant experience and will never stay here again. It was kind of dirty too.

I will never stay in another La Quinta since corporate obviously doesn't manage their managers very well. Pool and hot tub room closed, which is the reason why I booked here. I believe it's probably closed permanently, based on other reviews; yet still advertised. No WiFi. Front desk said they had 2 'hot spot units' which were in use by 2 other guests; they would notify me when the people were done with them...????? Gee, if I was the manager, I'd just call Verizon or whomever to get WiFi up and running....they probably don't even have WiFi. Needless to say, no WiFi for me. Manager refused to give discount, only 'points' for the next time I stayed there.....uh, I don't think so. Front lobby floor filthy, dusty, footprints. Why can't staff just mop once a day?

Overall I enjoyed my 3 night stay at the hotel. The only drawback was the size of the room and lack of walk in showers. I traveled with a disabled relative so it made things a bit challenging. Overall the hotel was nice, quiet, well kept and comfortable.

We got to the booking and the desk clerk was inexperienced. No receipt. The Internet did not work at all. The breakfast was from 6-9 but at 6:30 it was not done. The choice was make your own waffles, over ripe bananas, yogurt and boiled eggs. Biscuit and gravy was not done, and no meat. The desk clerk was unconcerned when I told him the Internet did not work. The bed was comfortable.

The front desk staff that checked us in were very welcoming to me and my dog. Very sweet ladies that seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Also the breakfast lady was super sweet. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks again

The stay there with superb. I called two days before to let them know that I would be traveling from Dallas after I get off from work at 3 o’clock and it probably wouldn’t be showing up till 11 or 12 that evening. I called and spoke to Martina and told her that I did not want to reserve a room for the weekend just to lose it if I didn’t get there before the day was over. Martina assured me that that’s not what they would do. They would hold a room for me knowing that I am traveling from out of town. When I got there that evening about 11:50. I walked I. There and approached the front desk and the gentleman there called me by my name. He got me ready in no time. And the stay there 3 night were amazing!!

Wi-Fi is down for my one night I am here. Had to find out by calling the front desk. No apology from the front desk guy. I would have went to another hotel if I knew I wouldn’t have Wi-Fi. Something they should let you know when you’re checking in. And $144 after taxes is insane for a single bed room. Pecos is a dirty run down town. For these prices I was expecting it to be a nice area. After reading the reviews it seems the Wi-Fi hasn’t worked for months. False advertisement to say you have working Wi-Fi when you don’t. Update: at checkout I noticed the Wi-Fi works in the common areas but not in rooms. This is something the hotel knows about because the reviews show it’s an ongoing problem. They were not transparent about the Wi-Fi when I checked in, and nothing was done to make it right. The girl at checkout said her manager was away for a week so she couldn’t help me. Very disappointing. After driving for 10 hours I just want to relax with some internet but I couldn’t do that here. Blatant false advertisement

Worst place to spend money on!!!!! We had issues with the night time guy in the front. He was always harassing us when we were in the lobby trying to eat after our baseball team played games all day. We reserved rooms for the weekend and we couldn’t even enjoy going back to the hotel to rest and eat. This guy has the audacity to kick us out of the lobby after our boys had been playing baseball all day. The swimming pool was disgustingly dirty, it was an indoor pool but it smelled bad and had no air flow so it was super stuffy in there. It’s like they just poured a lot of chlorine to try and cover up that it hadn’t been cleaned. Also the one elevator that this place had would barely work and always break down. So I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The 1st room they gave us was horrible and it wasn’t a normal room it was for a disabled person, the sink was clogged and the shower didn’t work. The second room they gave us was decent. Still don’t recommend this place.

La Quinta Wyndham is our families go to for quick, affordable and nice. it really does rival nicer chains and destroys other hotels in its class / price point. This specific location has amazing customer service. I had a 12k item in my car and they allowed me to park underneath the porte cochere overnight. The front desk kept an eye on it. Everyone just went above and beyond. Thank you!

Nice property, clean room, helpful staff and at a reasonable rate for the area. Wish i would have brought my swim teunks and golf clubs. Pecos golf course is directly behind property.

It wasn’t close to nothing, roads in construction. It was hard to get there because streets were closed. Also on my second night stay my card to go in the room didn’t work, so had to go down to ask to get it programmed. It was inconvenient because I was tired and didn’t want to experience this in my stay.
