We stayed at the Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong for one night and had an overall pleasant and relaxing experience. The hotel is located at the quieter, northern end of Discovery Bay, which immediately sets a different tone compared to the bustling parts of Hong Kong. If your objective is to step away from the intensity of the city and enjoy a more nature-oriented, tranquil environment, this location works very well. The room itself was quiet and comfortable;well aligned with expectations for a restful stay. The peaceful surroundings contributed significantly to the overall experience. Service-wise, the personnel were friendly and welcoming, creating a positive first impression and maintaining a professional atmosphere throughout the stay. One important consideration is the dining infrastructure in the area. The nearby North Plaza offers only a limited number of dining options, and these tend to close relatively early;even on a Friday evening. The main plaza in Discovery Bay provides more variety, but restaurants there also typically close around 21:00. This requires some planning, especially if you arrive later in the evening. Would not hesitate to book again. Passing through on our way to Australia, needed somewhere to stay for a night. Couldn’t believe how good this was for how little we paid to stay. Excellent location, good access to local (reasonably priced) taxis, good access to Disney, clean, well sized and comfortable rooms, great facilities. Superb
