Wonderful hotel and great location. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We couldn't have hoped for a better experience - we got to see Aurora Borealis!! Thanks to the "wake up" option provided upon check-in. We received a phone call the night of April 8th and WOW! Once in a lifetime experience.

Good room, beautiful view, staff on the evenings were great and the wake up call for the northern lights is a great touch. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful place to stay if you are around the area. Parking just right in front of the hotel. Room is clean n updated. Toilet and shower are all great. Hot water n water pressure is good. Manage to catch aurora lights on my 4th night in Iceland all thanks to the staff who taught me to spot the values about aurora lights. They even provide room call service if aurora light are spotted. 👍💪. Stayed there for 2 night and saw the aurora lights for 2 nights in a row. One downside about that place is the drive there during winter. Do drive safe while heading there. I still love my stay there.

The room was great, and we especially loved being able to get a call when the aurora borealis was out! Thanks to the hotel staff, we had the incredible experience of seeing the Northern lights right outside the hotel door.

Cool nice looking hotel. Rooms were good. Bar area was nice. Didn’t care for the menu, but the truffle fries were excellent. Great location to do things. Hot Springs, hiking, whale watching. Bartender Tomas was excellent, remembered our orders when we came back in the night. Also exchanged many great life stories and adventures. The karaoke party at the bar behind the hotel was a blast. Everyone was awesome and had a great time! Come to Iceland, must go the Mývatn area and stay here for 2 nights! Can’t wait to come back!
