Das Frühstück war sehr gut, mit Sachen aus der Region. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet, jedoch etwas kleiner als erwartet. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist zu klein, wenn alle zum Kochen kommen, aber man kommt zurecht. Die Lage ,direkt am See und Frühstück im Wintergarten war sehr schön. Personal sehr freundlich.

Excelente ubicación para trasladarse a las atracciones de Myvatn. Habitación pequeña pero en buenas condiciones y baño privado. Cocina compartida bien equipada. Se puede estacionar frente a la habitación. Además al estar apartado de otros sitios, es perfecto para ver auroras boreales. Personal muy amable. El perro en la propiedad es amable y amistoso con los turistas.

El lugar es muy bonito y bien ubicado, alrededor tienes todas lss cosas más importantes para ver. La habitación es muy cómoda con su baño privado y la cocina compartida está bien (le faltaria alguna sarten y un poco más de espacio en el comedor en caso de que estubiera ĺleno de gente)

Tight room with good rolla shutters to keep the light and noise out. Good location for the sites around lake Myvtan. Shared kitchen and lounge area was clean and well organised. Gets a little crowded with three different rooms trying to cook at once. But overall good place to stay.

Tres bien situé sur Mytvan. Petite chambre, tres cosi, la salle de bain est propre, mais petite. Cuisine commune grande et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner fait maison chez les hotes.

Checked in super late but all was good - instructions left on the counter and I found my room with no problems at all. This is a lovely area and my room overlooked the lake, plenty of parking was available and the hotel is arranged into units so I think the idea is you drive to your room and park outside. The room was comfortable and clean, coming with plenty of sockets to charge my electronics and a private shower room. There was lots of natural light coming through the large windows. I got a great nights sleep. Next morning I paid for breakfast which had cereals, cold meats, coffee etc and although it was good it was a bit too fancy for my liking. The view from the conservatory in the breakfast room was stunning however. Check out was easy, the staff were all friendly and before I knew it I was on my way. Would recommend to others, I would stay again if the price was right!

Struttura vecchia e lasciata andare. Bungalow per 4 persone piccolissimo. Pulizia scarsa. Aprendo l'acqua calda esce acqua solforosa e tutto il bungalow puzza di uovo marcio, quindi si può usare solo l'acqua fredda. Fare la doccia neanche a parlarne. Prezzo decisamente caro si paga solo la posizione. Non rispondono alle mail, non rispondono su Expedia e nemmeno al telefono. Si trova di molto meglio.

The cabins were OK, but they were tiny. The cabin should really be for a single, and not a double. There was no place to put anything except one small table and one chair. What I didn't expect was the requirement to remove my shoes to eat breakfast. While I do that frequently when I'm at a friend's or relative's house, I would never do it while at a place of business, especially a place where many guests pass through. I was asked to remove my shoes and wear clogs that others had worn without cleaning. I refused, so I left and bought breakfast elsewhere. While the woman did recant after I told her this requirement was never explained anywhere prior to arrival, I was uncomfortable at that point and just left.

Located in the center of the Myvatn region. Close to all nearby attractions. The wifi is not so good as expected. We have 4G hotspot which can do the job for communication. The best thing we had in this stay is that we saw the Northern light in the cabin!

Reise erfolgt zur Nebensaison im Januar. Dadurch kaum andere Gäste und sehr ruhig. Auch durch die abgelegene, aber schöne Lage, direkt am See war es sehr ruhig. Die Lage ist grundsätzlich sehr nah zu mehreren Sehenswürdigkeiten und dadurch sehr praktisch gelegen. Rezeption war nur zeitweise besetzt, aufgrund der Saison wurde kein Frühstück angeboten. Das Zimmer in den Holzhäusern war vernünftig groß, absolut sauber, zweckmäßig ausgestattet, hatte aber sogar einen Tisch und Stuhl. Tolle Aussicht. Gute Heizung. Kein TV. WLAN gut, wenn es da war. Bei starkem Wind leider schon mal weg. Starker Wind ist möglich und macht dann doch deutliche Geräusche. Im direkten Nebengebäude eine große und komfortable Gemeinschaftsküche mit Mikro und Kühlschrank, sowie Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten, die ich aber nicht genutzt habe. Immer gut für einen entspannten Selbstversorger-Aufenthalt, wenn man Pläne in der Umgebung macht.

This was a nice property at Lake Mývatn. The rooms were small, but it met our needs. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of geothermal hot water! Breakfast was also good!

Location was perfect. Less light pollution than some areas which meant we could see the Aurora. It would be good if external lights could be turned off earlier. Room was very basic, but clean. The room was small. The room was warm. The shower pressure and warmth were good. The room walls are very thin, so you can hear people in the rooms next door.

The pictures are decieving. We thought we rented a small guesthouse but actually we had a very tiny room in the back of a building with a double bed. Luckily it was only 1 night because we could have stayed there a second night. We arrived in the evening and left in the morning. The room was clean, the bathroom tiny and the small bed was suprisingly comfortable.

Beautiful property. View of the lake is amazing and serene. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. We arrived late and were disappointed to find a tour buses parked in front of our two cabins. Recommend property asks tour buses park behind cabin to avoid obstructing view of the lake from cabins.

This property is overly rated and expensive, not worth the price. It’sa smaller cabins than in pictures. The water quality smells with too much sulphur. We checked other places for water quality and it was not that bad. When we talked to the manager, she was not cooperative, we asked if we can get refund for one of the two nights of our stay , she refused it. We didn’t have good experience with hotel staff. We ended up staying only one night and moved on, lost money on one night.

When we talked to the manager, she was not cooperative, we asked if we can get refund for one of the two nights of our stay , she refused it. We didn’t have good experience with hotel staff. We ended up staying only one night and moved on, lost money on one night.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, mit Sachen aus der Region. Das Zimmer war nett eingerichtet, jedoch etwas kleiner als erwartet. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist zu klein, wenn alle zum Kochen kommen, aber man kommt zurecht. Die Lage ,direkt am See und Frühstück im Wintergarten war sehr schön. Personal sehr freundlich.

Avoid this place. Owner is on holidays and non-responsive. Her staff are quite good however unable to make decisions or solve issues without contact with owner. I feel for them as they do their best without any authority to act.

Check in windows seemed to be only 1 hour. It may have been OK to arrive after the desk staff was gone, but that was not clear in our instruction. The directions made is seem like we had to arrive within a 1 hour window. All other aspects of the visit were nice.

Checked in super late but all was good - instructions left on the counter and I found my room with no problems at all. This is a lovely area and my room overlooked the lake, plenty of parking was available and the hotel is arranged into units so I think the idea is you drive to your room and park outside. The room was comfortable and clean, coming with plenty of sockets to charge my electronics and a private shower room. There was lots of natural light coming through the large windows. I got a great nights sleep. Next morning I paid for breakfast which had cereals, cold meats, coffee etc and although it was good it was a bit too fancy for my liking. The view from the conservatory in the breakfast room was stunning however. Check out was easy, the staff were all friendly and before I knew it I was on my way. Would recommend to others, I would stay again if the price was right!

Located in the center of the Myvatn region. Close to all nearby attractions. The wifi is not so good as expected. We have 4G hotspot which can do the job for communication. The best thing we had in this stay is that we saw the Northern light in the cabin!

Excelente ubicación para trasladarse a las atracciones de Myvatn. Habitación pequeña pero en buenas condiciones y baño privado. Cocina compartida bien equipada. Se puede estacionar frente a la habitación. Además al estar apartado de otros sitios, es perfecto para ver auroras boreales. Personal muy amable. This was a nice property at Lake Mývatn. The rooms were small, but it met our needs. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of geothermal hot water! Breakfast was also good!

Beautiful property. View of the lake is amazing and serene. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. We arrived late and were disappointed to find a tour buses parked in front of our two cabins. Recommend property asks tour buses park behind cabin to avoid obstructing view of the lake from cabins.

The cabins were OK, but they were tiny. The cabin should really be for a single, and not a double. There was no place to put anything except one small table and one chair. What I didn't expect was the requirement to remove my shoes to eat breakfast. While I do that frequently when I'm at a friend's or relative's house, I would never do it while at a place of business, especially a place where many guests pass through. I was asked to remove my shoes and wear clogs that others had worn without cleaning. I refused, so I left and bought breakfast elsewhere. While the woman did recant after I told her this requirement was never explained anywhere prior to arrival, I was uncomfortable at that point and just left.

Reise erfolgt zur Nebensaison im Januar. Dadurch kaum andere Gäste und sehr ruhig. Auch durch die abgelegene, aber schöne Lage, direkt am See war es sehr ruhig. Die Lage ist grundsätzlich sehr nah zu mehreren Sehenswürdigkeiten und dadurch sehr praktisch gelegen. Rezeption war nur zeitweise besetzt, aufgrund der Saison wurde kein Frühstück angeboten. Das Zimmer in den Holzhäusern war vernünftig groß, absolut sauber, zweckmäßig ausgestattet, hatte aber sogar einen Tisch und Stuhl. Tolle Aussicht. Gute Heizung. Kein TV. WLAN gut, wenn es da war. Bei starkem Wind leider schon mal weg. Starker Wind ist möglich und macht dann doch deutliche Geräusche. Im direkten Nebengebäude eine große und komfortable Gemeinschaftsküche mit Mikro und Kühlschrank, sowie Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten, die ich aber nicht genutzt habe. Immer gut für einen entspannten Selbstversorger-Aufenthalt, wenn man Pläne in der Umgebung macht.

Fantastic cabin in a great location to explore the area. The hosts were fantastic and the breakfast was amazing (especially the hot spring baked bread). Cabin was very comfortable for the family with plenty of beds and good sized living and kitchen area.

The room was a bit small but we managed. There was a shared kitchen area between our building and the one on the other side which was nice. We were able to use the refrigerator/freezer to keep our sodas cold. We picked up fish and chips locally and returned to the kitchen to eat and admire the view. Breakfast was great and the dining room had an awesome view of the lake.
