This place is much more than just a place to stay. It’s a place to hang out and socialize. Bring your friends and listen to live music, play cards, or just chill. Have some beers, eat something and stay a while. Bring your baby during the day and let her/him rest while you relax and read a book. The staff is wonderful, the food is good, and the atmosphere can’t be beat!

Located a little out of main zurich area, but has easy connectivity through trams and buses. The cafe downstairs is lively! Simple and convenient stay, can't expect much facilities like kettle or mini fridge. Hall floors were creaky, could fix that.

We were there for one night. The bus and tram stations were only a short walk away, connecting us to all of Zürich. The Hotel had a bar/restaurant in the bottom level that you walk through throughout the day to get to your room. At night you go through a separate entrance. Bar drinks were reasonably priced and the breakfast we ate there was delicious. The room we had was big and spacious. I think about 3 rooms share the bathroom on the same level but everything was always clean. It really was a great stay. I’d definitely stay there again.

Nice location across from a park; large rooms compared to any other we stayed at in NYC, Prague, and Verbier, and a balcony; the furnishings looked “vintage,” but all good and gave the room a lot of character; the cafe downstairs was great all day for delicious food and at night for a drink; my husband and son raved about the coffee; everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. Out room had a shared bath but it was fine — kept very clean, and because only one or two other rooms used it, we never had to wait. I think they do have rooms with private baths, tho, if one prefers. All in all, if we are ever in Zurich again, would love to come back.

Perfect location as a home base for exploring Zurich and the surrounding areas. The cafe/bar on the main level was great and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They do have paid parking spots available but the train station wasn’t too far. The room was spacious and clean- the bathroom is shared by 3 rooms but we never ran into issues with it being available when we needed it. Many restaurants close by and a few small markets. Our stay was perfect!

I stayed in multiple places and this is the first to offer good hospitality. They let me in early, the checkin was quick and nice. Room was clean and had water which i really appreciate. LOVED this place! Staff was so helpful with check in and the room was so cute! Bathroom was clean. Located about 1 mile from Zurich HB with a tram stop around the corner. I will definitely stay here again!

El lugar es terrible, nos robaron sin tener que quitarnos algo, el lugar es asqueroso, los baños compartidos y demasiado ruido gritos de otras habitaciones, gritaban y caminaban por todos lados, habían insectos, escribimos desde que llegamos e informamos el mal estado del baño y sus soluciones eran que me fuera a otro baño de otro piso, simplemente me fui sin usarlo, pedí mi reembolso y la encargada lo que hizo fue decirme que ir era una estúpida a mí y amo hija de 10 años, una vulgar y grosera. Tuve que decirle que se calmara varias veces. Expedia no me protegió como cliente por más que llame más de 3 veces reportando el problema. Este tipo de lugares no deberían estar en Expedia, los reviews confirman lo que expresó aquí, porque es la verdad son de lo peor

It was a great hotel considering the price. Check-in was easy and friendly staff stored our bags before our check-in time. Super clean and cozy. One con is the road can be really loud, especially when the tram goes by (we woke up because of it multiple times). The only other con I have is that we shared a bathroom with two other rooms. The staff was very nice and greeted us well. But this property did not work well for our family. We were not aware of the shared bathroom with the rest of the rooms offered in our quarter. We also were so hot in the morning from the rising sun in room 42. I wouldn’t recommend this property if you have a family and need a bathroom in your room. Thanks for a welcoming greeting.

The hotel was great, especially with the balcony, and the little restaurant below was so pretty. The only thing was that around the area, close to night time specifically, there were a decent amount of sketchy drinkers, especially across the street at the park, but there was also a police patrolling.

You couldn't turn up the heat even though it was febuary, so got sick after two nights there, because it was so cold. I ordered a queen size bed and got two single beds pushed together. Soap dispenser didn't work in the shower. They just said: this is a low energy hotel so you cannot change the temperature more than a couple degrees. That thermostat did not work - the thermostat was out of order. It did not change or react at all. Provoking way of hiding being cheap and saving cost behind being "green". Resulting in me getting sick.

Breakfast not included, although I thought it was when I booked. Property is old could use some upgrading. Parkay flooring creaked so loudly when you walked on it that I’m sure I woke up the rest of the guests ever time I used the facilities toilet separate from the room. Overall meh and I would not return.

The hotel is easy to reach and close to public transport. The room was spacious and updated and we were pleasantly surprised with chilled waters upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. We traveled during a very hot day/night and the lack of AC made the room warmer than we’d prefer but that’s just a personal preference. There was a fan available which helped a lot. We had an overall great stay and loved the accessibility to major tourist sites.

Super Personal. Nachbuchen war kein Problem, Sie haben mir sehr geholfen, als ich kurzfristig noch ein Vorstellungsgespräch online bis check-out hatte und mein Auto bei Abfahrt leere Batterie hat, die Wartezeit bis Pannenhilfe kam (5,5h) Telefon geliehen etc. super Herzlichen Dank, Danke nochmals ! Was für mich gewöhnungsbedürftig war, das geteilte Bad. Es gibt leider andere Gäste, die nach dem Duschen nicht das Wasser entfernen und dreckige Unterwäsche auf Klo liegen lassen. Und das frisch nachdem die Reinigung war. Das liegt aber nicht im Einfluss vom Guesthouse.

Was für mich gewöhnungsbedürftig war, das geteilte Bad. Es gibt leider andere Gäste, die nach dem Duschen nicht das Wasser entfernen und dreckige Unterwäsche auf Klo liegen lassen. Und das frisch nachdem die Reinigung war. Das liegt aber nicht im Einfluss vom Guesthouse.

We loved our stay at the Guesthouse Furdich! The staff were so accommodating and helpful with our every request! It truly feels like a family run business, everyone was so kind! And the beds were amazing, the cafe below is 10/10, and while the shared bathroom may seem inconvenient when booking, it was no problem for us at all, and felt very clean! I would absolutely stay again!

I've stayed in many places all over Europe and Guesthouse Fur Dich was by far my favorite. I've never felt so welcomed, the staff was truly amazing and incredibly accommodating. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom is very modern. The entire place was very clean and well kept. The Cafe downstairs (owned by the same people) is the best place in Zurich, and honestly I felt like it was a waste to try anywhere else. Very chill and cool vibes, the food was great and the coffee strong. Again the staff was so amazing and welcoming, it felt as if we were already good friends. I would recommend Fur Dich to anyone who wants to stay in Zurich. They should give lessons to other places on how hospitality should be done right.

I stayed in multiple places and this is the first to offer good hospitality. They let me in early, the checkin was quick and nice. Room was clean and had water which i really appreciate. The Hotel had a bar/restaurant in the bottom level that you walk through throughout the day to get to your room. At night you go through a separate entrance. El lugar es terrible, nos robaron sin tener que quitarnos algo, el lugar es asqueroso, los baños compartidos y demasiado ruido gritos de otras habitaciones, gritaban y caminaban por todos lados, habían insectos, escribimos desde que llegamos e informamos el mal estado del baño y sus soluciones eran que me fuera a otro baño de otro piso, simplemente me fui sin usarlo, pedí mi reembolso y la encargada lo que hizo fue decirme que ir era una estúpida a mí y amo hija de 10 años, una vulgar y grosera. The hotel was great, especially with the balcony, and the little restaurant below was so pretty. The only thing was that around the area, close to night time specifically, there were a decent amount of sketchy drinkers, especially across the street at the park, but there was also a police patrolling.

Out room had a shared bath but it was fine — kept very clean, and because only one or two other rooms used it, we never had to wait. They do have paid parking spots available but the train station wasn’t too far. The hotel is easy to reach and close to public transport. The room was spacious and updated and we were pleasantly surprised with chilled waters upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. Guesthouse FurDich is only about 10 minutes’ walk from the bus station. Very good location. When arriving at Zurich, we encountered heavy rain. I will never forget the warmth of the owner when we arrived at the Guesthouse. Very fast check in and we went into our room. Breakfast is nice and there are a lot of choices. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is kind and she refilled our water bottle. It was a super-hot summer day and the water is lifesaving. I love Guesthouse and will recommend it to all my friends.
