Absolutely ideal Perfect location, 2 mn walk to Hollywood blvd , 20 mn walk to the Bowl. Yet really peaceful and quiet. Gigantic house with charm, with countless bathrooms and restrooms. Nice Garden and approx 20 parking spaces. Staff : super welcoming and helpful Bed was a little small for two, though, but that’s only a detail.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Check in/out were quick and easy. It's in a great location and was easy to get to, just a block off Hollywood Blvd and so many Hollywood attractions like the Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater, several other theaters, the Hollywood Museum, etc. I stayed in one of the dorms, the room was spacious, the bunk beds were spread out so everyone had some space of their own. There was a closet and dresser available which was nice - I didn't use them, but I think some of the other girls did. The mattresses could have been a little more comfortable, and I think it's time for new pillows, but it was fine for a few days. The hostel was once a personal home, and a few of the old features are still present, which is cool. It would have been nice to have kind of a lounge area to watch TV or read. There was no good area to sit and read except outside.

Hostel was neat and clean with all basic amenities in place. This helped to make our stay easy. Met few people from out of country visiting LA. Good parking is available backside of the hostel. Proximity to Hollywood main point of attractions- walk of fame, wax museum and even train station. Would recommend this place.
