The website stated there was a swimming when indeed there isn’t a swimming pool. The room was filthy dirty. There were hair all over the bathroom floor. The location was nice. It is near the freeway exit and about a 5 minutes walk to the pier and nearby restaurants.

Older hotel and a bit run down but I’ve stayed here before and would again. You can’t beat the price or location. Easy walk to not only the shops and restaurants but also the beach. Bonus points that it has a microwave and mini fridge in the room.

Small room, limited amenities, and limited storage. But it was clean, service was good, and it’s in easy walking distance to the beach and to a cute downtown district. The fridge, microwave and table and chairs were a nice touch.

The hitel description says there is a pool. There is no pool. When i asked about this, I was told "I've been telling Hotels.com for 10 years that we don't have a pool. But they won't change the listing"

Parking was definitely limited to the anount of room they had. Floors where clean. Bathroom walls and corners shower signs of mildew/mold. Bedroom wall needed cleaning. Local Fair, beach and downtown area was close by.

Great walking distance to the fairgrounds. Just 8 minutes! Walking distance to the bars & restaurants in the Downtown area. Oh! And the beach! Motel 6 is not known to be a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but it’s a good affordable easy to get to places motel. Has fridge, microwave, & a bottle opener on the wall which we thought was cool! And coffee in the office.

The weather was great. The “accessible” room, not so great. Where to start? The bathroom shower was full of black mold. The back of the front door, including around the handle and peep hole, were covered in black mold. The ceiling vent was falling down. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like it had a hole in the middle of it. The pillows felt like they were full of bits and pieces of foam. And the closet was incredibly difficult to access down a narrow side of the bed around a corner. The tv service kept cutting in and out and the sound was bad. The sink shot water everywhere no matter how little you turned the handle on. There was rust on the bottom of the chairs for the “dining area.” I get it, this is a motel. But I grew up saying at Motel 6 and never have I stayed at a property that was this dirty. We paid $240 for 1 night and it was not worth it!

Very humid despite running the AC. WiFi went down. Had to move rooms. Key lock died. Had to get the manager to let me in each time. Flies in the room before I arrived. Noisy area and not much for insulation. Sheets had multiple stains. Parking and check in were easy. Manager on site was responsive.

A better than average Motel 6 experience. The shower head in my room was damaged, but the maintenance guy showed up later in the afternoon to repair it. My only serious complaint would be the noise. The location is next to the highway, and the rooms are not well sound proofed, so expect a noisy stay.

Hey, it's Motel 6-- room was good, had everything we needed for the night's stay. some guests were overly noisy-- nothing the management could do. shower was tiny, not small-- tiny. would stay there again for sure-- it met our needs well.

When we first got to the room it did look nice for a motel six but I noticed in the bathroom there was termite residue all over the floor in the corner pieces of wood. I don’t know how they missed that when they cleaned it. Also, the walls were paper thin for at least four hours I can hear the people behind us in the next room with their beds, obviously behind my bed they were so loud during their sexual escapades and their voices were loud as well not a great experience, I’ve never encountered that before in a hotel it was truly a rough night sleep there

I picked this hotel based on the ratings but it was an ok hotel. The room had a small walk-in shower which was slippery, no iron, no hair dryer, and lumpy pillows. I will not be staying here again.

I tried to check in and the office was locked . Kept ringing and ringing. I called the office and someone answered "hello?" Sounded like he was sleeping It was midnight and we had to wait around 20 minutes to finnaly get checked in

Prepaid for a room, showed up and were informed our room was given to someone else because we didn’t check in early enough. It was 10:30 pm or so. Said we didn’t answer the confirmation call. No call received. Very sketchy area. Terrible customer service.

This Motel 6 goes above and beyond; Liquid soaps Full tub & shower Brand new mattresses 30 second walk to downtown 3 min walk to the beach Soundproof/minimal noise The owner was so nice and accommodating. *My wife accidentally left her pillow behind, and they held it for me until my next visit! Class act. Thank you!

The property was clean. I stayed 2 days and constantly seen management clean the area. Ricky ( manager) was very nice. When I went to office to get coffee we would have a long conversation. He is friendly and always greeted myself and other guests with a smile. Motel very clean

Rented 2 rooms. 1 for my kids 19 and 11 and 1 for me and my wife. Heater didn’t work, no hot water in both rooms. 1 towel per room. When we told the manager he didn’t care. He was very rude until I checked after the first night

Very convenient to the pier and downtown. Rooms are based but very clean. You can hear the freeway from the rooms, but wear earplugs and you’ll be all right. Location, cleanliness and price are my factors for staying here.

While it’s not a property with luxury amenities, what I love about this property is that it is walkable to everything! Amtrak drop off, shopping, downtown Ventura Main Street, and most importantly, The Beach!

Butting against the freeway, we were surprised the room was actually quiet. Easy walk to stuff…but, you can see Ventura is changing so there are nice places as well as the crazy homeless person that the cops had to deal with. Nice thing is I did feel safe as well as I felt our car was safe….given there were a lot of much nicer cars parked in the parking lot. Glad the room came with a fridge and coffee maker and microwave. Good amount of space. Water pressure was a bit low for my liking, but water was very hot which is key for my showers!

The check-in was good. The desk attendant was polite and helpful. However, the room itself was not that clean. The refrigerator had soda spilled inside, and it made so much noise that it kept my wife awake. As I exited the room one morning, I was accosted by a man who asked for money; when I declined, he asked if he could use the shower in our room! I felt unsafe and went inside and locked the door. Also, the shower door would not close completely, making the floor wet and slippery.

Great location close to shops, pubs, restaurants, and the beach. All within walking distance from your room, so if you want to get your party on a little bit, no worries about driving after having a cocktail. The room itself was clean and what you would expect for a budget motel room, no frills and no surprises. A good value if you are not spending lots of time in the room other than to sleep and shower. Surprisingly quiet considering all the traffic outside. This is the second time I've stayed there.

I attended an event at the nearby Fairgrounds. I parked my car and didn’t have to move it for three days because I could walk to the beach, mission, restaurants, downtown, the mission, etc. all in less than 1/2 mile from the Motel. That being said, the area around the hotel has a lot of unhoused people near the train tracks and highway, but it didn’t detract or deter too much from my visit or sense of safety.

The rooms were very well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable, and it was a very pleasant stay. The neighborhood isn't horrible, but it is not the best. Good place to eat down the block The Surfer's Cafe with fresh and organic food.
