My trip was for our twins Birthday they turned 8. Their wish was to stay in a hotel and swim. I called around 5:30 before i Booked to make sure the pool was working. The person on the phone guaranteed that the pool is working. When we got to the hotel there were signs that it was out of order.. the guy at the front desk said it’s been out of order and he didn’t know why they told me differently. It pretty much ruined our trip for our kids birthday. It was too late to cancel and look for another hotel. My kids were so sad I felt so bad..

The swimming pool was not ready to be opened. Carpets need work. Details in the rooms need work..such as deep cleaning in rooms, light switch wasnt working, curtains and blinds were messed up, towels-washcloths and bedding need replaced, ice machine broken.

The facilities were fine. The evening staff was indifferent, at best. I called the front desk and informed the man there that the ice machine was inoperable. He told me that it was out of order and the one on the third floor worked. I went to the third floor, but that ice machine did not work. I went to the front desk I told the clerk about the situation. He just pointed to the hallway and, it’s down there.

The food - the breakfast and breakfast staff might be the best and most attentive ever experienced. The less than good. Pool broken, ice makers broken, carpet by the elevator needs to be stretched out as it’s a tripping hazard, black mold in our shower, and the pull out mattress in the suite was all springs and metal poles… the hotel feels old. We had 2 towels for our entire family and they were thread bare. These are towels I would have saved for dog baths. This hotel fell short of my expectations in every way except for the breakfast staff.

It was Spring Break for my two grandkids and I booked this hotel for the larger indoor pool & spa, because the weather forecast wasnt great while we were going to be in town. We get there and checked in and go check the pool/spa area out to find that they were broken, the water was like ice water. We asked the front desk about it and he said a repairman was there earlier in the day but didn’t get it fixed, he would be back the next morning. The next afternoon we asked and the lady at the front desk said no the repairman wasn’t coming back. Later, I went online and found where someone had given a review two months earlier that the pool & spa were broken. Will not stay here again. Very dissatisfied.

It was a convenient place to stay based on why we were there. Parking was good. But the carpet was sticky in the room. So disgusting. The bedding was extremely dirty smelling like men’s cologne. The shower was rusted and the room smelled like mold. No hot water only warm. And no water pressure. A/C worked well the the halls of the hotel were very hot! Front desk we had to always wait a while for someone to come to the desk. Mini fridge wasn't cold. The next time we go there will will not be staying there.

We stayed in the handicap room next to the front foyer. Everything was good with the room, except the chair in the corner had an obvious poop skid mark on both sides of the bottom cushion. It was disgusting! That was the only thing negative about the stay.

The location was super convenient, and the staff were incredibly sweet! The room was kind of dirty, hair and buildup on the floor and countertops questionable. TV didn’t work, but we were tired so didn’t bother with it. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, but we were able to use the shower soap in the wall in the shower to wash hands. I just wiped down things with a few sanitizing wipes, and we stayed for a few hours just to get some sleep before moving on. Overall, just neutral on the whole experience. Can’t recommend, but not our worst stay.

This was by far a very sad and tragic experience. It began with no one at the front check in area. When the man came out he was very curt and not welcoming like my presence was not wanted for interrupting his break or something. We went up to our hotel room and the curtains were falling off (we fixed them), and the toilet wasn’t clean as if someone just had a massive streaky bowel movement in the toilet. We were given two towels in the room and when I went down to ask for more they said that it wasn’t possible to give me more and gave me 3 small pool towels. I was in the elevator and cleaned up a spill so no one would slip so that used one of the towels. When I asked for another from one of the housekeepers they told me that because I was already given 3 towels downstairs that they couldn’t give me another. They gave me another after explaining the spill situation but very reluctantly. The only friendly staff that they had was a woman in the breakfast area that has been there for over 11 years. She was extremely helpful and nice…keep her, make her the manager, and please fire the rest!!

I was not that interested in the outdoor features. The grounds were very nice. Our room was completely different than the online photo. The bathroom had a washcloth over the shower head that had been there for several days. There was no soap to wash your hands with. There were no hand towels. W ex my to the front desk for these items. Drying off with the bath towel was similar to using sand paper. The towels were frayed. Will not stay here again. The positive is the young man at the reception desk was very friendly unlike the lady who checked us in.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express as a stopping point along our drive to San Antonio. Check-in took a little while since there was only one person working the front desk, but the staff was friendly and welcoming once we got checked in. The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast was good, a nice way to start the day. Our room (100) was just okay. The beds were comfortable, but I didn’t have a coffee maker like I thought I would (my dad’s room did). Unfortunately, the location of our room made it hard to get any rest. It’s right next to the side exit door, which slammed loudly every time someone came in or out, and that happened all night long. The walls and ceiling were also very thin; we could hear every step from the person above us, who seemed to be pacing well past midnight and up again at 5 a.m. Overall, it was fine for a quick overnight stay, but between the noise and the room location, I’m not sure I’d choose this hotel again.

No hot water for two nights! We did get Luke warm water early in the morning for a shower. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We were on bottom floor and the people above us kept stomping and being very disruptive.

Our stay was very good. The only negative was the lukewarm shower after a long day of driving. We had the shower turned to the hottest setting and it wasn't enough to even steam up the bathroom. That was our only disappointment. The staff were friendly, room was clean, and I slept better than in most hotels.

This room where I stayed had a dimly lit bathroom. The shower would not get hot and the shower head was corroded and water leaked all over the bath floor every time we used it. Our room ceiling made pounding noises probably from upstairs guests. The window style air conditioning was loud but working but the controls did not respond. We had to call at 1:00 am to find out there was a wall thermostat. We wanted ice but the ice machine outside in our hall was not working

We had the double queen suite. We were they for one night. The coffee pot and blow dryer were missing. The iron did not work. The tv was not programmed. The sleeper sofa was dirty and there were no extra sheets for it. I paid for the room through a third party. The front desk couldn’t get my deposit right. I had to go through 3 different cards before they realized something was wrong on their end. They charged my cc card $890. Then they wouldn’t fix it. I had to call the cc company to get it fixed.

Don't stay here. On the third floor the internet didn't work. Had to move to the first floor. Then the chair was broken. Would go up or down or lock without completely reclining. Got a new chair. Then the shower wouldn't turn on for a couple of minutes but finally did. Lastly, there is no lunch or dinner at the hotel or anywhere nearby.

The person at the front desk (Savannah) was not welcoming and her customer service skills were horrible. The hotel had recently implemented a check in policy requiring me to fill out an electronic link with all of the same information I had provided when I booked the room. I requested to speak with a supervisor when the font desk person would not resolve our issue, but she refused to allow me to speak with a supervisor. The room was fine, but the staff was terrible. I spoke to a supervisor the next day when checking out, but his willingness to resolve the issues we had were not any better than the original front desk person. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.

When I arrived to the hotel around 2:50pm I was not greeted or acknowledge. The female clerk was rude very unpleasant. When her released came in she was happy as could be but I was still waiting on my room to be ready at this point it was passed 3:10pm and still waiting. Very disappointed on the staff behavior.

Front desk person said she cancelled the room I booked through Expedia because I was checking in too late (2am). I had been driving home from Denver and just needed a place to sleep before getting back on the road. Expedia charged me $123 and then she charged my card again in person because she “cancelled it” $192. The Expedia reservation was never cancelled so I got double charged but I was just tired at this point and needed to sleep. I got up the the room and the lock on the door was safety locked so I couldn’t even get in (like someone was in there) and then I heard someone so I shut the door and immediately left. I went and got back in my truck because I was so angry and tired and left.

The staff at the front desk gave me the wrong room that was not what I booked and when I went to try and correct it they offered no help and just kept mumbling between them that it wasn’t there problem and thought I couldn’t hear them . They had 4 different booking messed up in the span of 45 min while I waited in the lobby . Luckily the Expedia customer service was able to help me cancel and get my money back .

Property canceled the reservation without informing us after the refund window closed. They charged us for two rooms, the place smelled like garage, the service was terrible. The concierge wouldn’t even look at me when she told me she cancelled the booking. Upon leaving my own review I found several other poor ratings for this hotel on Yelp for the same employee who literally scammed us. I will be contacting IHG for a refund for the second charge she made us do. She was stating policies for reasons why she canceled the booking that do not exist, and refused to show us where we could find these policies when we requested them. Upon us bringing our bags we watched her checked in a couple after us with no problems at all. It was giving racism to be honest. Expedia be sure to do your research on this property. As a platinum member I trust the ratings on this site which did not reflect the absolute trash service we got from this hotel.

Nice hotel but terrible check-in. Waited at front desk for 15-20 minutes before receptionist showed up. This was during prime time near 6pm. Five other guests waiting in line by the time receptionist showed up. I even called the hotel phone number and no one answered. Receptionist texted me with a link and rudely told me to fill out the online forms and submit a photo of my driver’s license. Last thing I want to do after driving all day is deal with a bunch of bureaucracy. Poor service. This was way beneath Holiday Inn Express which are usually excellent. ..

Coming from Northern New Mexico, Google Maps directed us through an old section of town, but that was to get us to Hwy 27. Once there, it was very nice. The room as good and the staff were friendly. The microwave in our room was missing a front 'foot' & so was crooked, but it worked fine. Otherwise, pretty much all was very good. We also were able to access our email and print some travel docs, in the hotel's business center. The entire facility was very clean and modern. The beds were very nice and the sheets and bedspreads felt new and first class.

A very nice property, like new. We loved the spaciousness of our king suite. The delicious hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise with everything you could want. The only downside was the awkward location at a cloverleaf interstate, difficult to get to if you are approaching from the south. Navigation led us to the back of the property to enter, but it was a tall brick wall with no access, so it was a bit tricky. Great bed and sheets.

Really decent, nice clean place. Great indoor pool area with hot tub. The suites were very underwhelming for the price. Beds were hard and uncomfortable and our bathroom garbage was full of trash when we entered our room from previous guest. They have a breakfast buffet which is great for families but whoever decided to fill the omelets with easy cheese, my goodness, no.

There was no evening reception and the website said breakfast started at 6am. Breakfast started at 6:30 and because we were a few minutes early we were rudely asked to leave. When we came back at 6:30 am and said good morning the breakfast staff mumbled rudely. We did not feel welcomed AT ALL. We were an inconvenience to this hotel.
