Such a nice place! The rooftop bar had spectacular views and lots of seating inside and outside. The marketplace by the lobby had lots of snack options, including gluten-free. Our room had a swivel chair and table next to the window. Great view without paying extra for it. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Window opens a crack, enough to take a picture or hear city sounds. The hotel is located in Times Square, but not directly in a crowded area, which we liked. We look forward to returning in the future!

Loved the room and the cleanliness; friendly staff. The delay in waiting for the elevators was the only complaint. One morning waited 15 mins . Not sure how that can be fixed though?

Great location close to times square and Broadway shows- staff is very friendly, I would have given it 5 stars but $135 for one night valet parking a bit crazy! Look for other parking options if possible. The rooftop bar is also a great experience.

Male receptionist acts like he is at the funeral. He never greeted the guests with at least a hello. He looks like he doesn't want to be there. There was blood stains on one of the pillows. This is a biohazards. Extremely over price for a 4.5 star hotel . Location has a lot of restaurants but they are all bad foods and overpriced. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!!!

Good location, right off Times Square but quiet given how high our room was. One of the only 2 elevators that could get us to our floor broke and that was very problematic. The room had a bit of a musty smell but overall it seemed very clean.

Family of 4 had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is perfect — right in the middle of Manhattan, steps from Times Square, Broadway, and plenty of restaurants, but still quiet enough to relax after a busy day. The room was absolutely spotless. Housekeeping did an amazing job keeping everything fresh and tidy, and I appreciated the attention to detail — crisp linens, gleaming bathroom, and not a speck of dust anywhere. The décor felt modern and welcoming, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help with directions, recommendations, or anything else we needed. We also loved the rooftop bar — the view of the city at night is breathtaking. If you’re visiting New York and want a hotel that’s clean, comfortable, and in the heart of it all, I highly recommend Hyatt Centric Times Square.

In almost every night of our stay, there was some maintenance issue we had to call about. The entry light didn’t work due to a disconnected wire, the floor lamp bulb was shattered, and the drawer rail came apart, preventing it from closing. However, the worst experience was on our last night—when we returned to pack up, the room was in total blackout. The Technician spent some time trying to fix it but was unsuccessful, and we were eventually moved to another room. The manager called to apologize which was a nice gesture, but unfortunately, it doesn’t fix the underlying issues. I urged them to spend more time checking and repairing room problems, especially electrical ones, to avoid this happening to future guests. As I told the front desk in my many years of traveling this was one of the worst stays I’ve had, and certainly the only time I’ve experienced a complete blackout in a hotel room. The only positive is the excellent location.

Clean, modern room with a city view” The room was spotless and felt brand new, featuring a private bathroom and a beautiful city view. It was quiet, well-maintained, and much larger than the average hotel room in New York. I really appreciated the fact that there was no carpet, which made it feel even cleaner and fresher.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are a good size. We were on the 34th floor. We had a lovely housekeeper on our floor. She was helpful at picking up a problem the curtains without being asked. There were 2 niggles paper cups and nowhere to hang our clothes. Having said that I would probably still return if I ever get an opportunity.

Really wanted to love this place. We thought the hotel was great, location was amazing, it was quiet, the room was clean, & the bellman helped us arrange airport transportation with car seats. However, I had to leave 2 stars due to the fact that our room AC was broken our entire stay (4 days.) Our room was 80 degrees to the point that ourselves and our kid was up all night unable to sleep. We had to have someone come to our room to “fix” it 4 times. Each time we were told that it was just tripped and they reset it and it should be fine. Finally, on last night, we finally got our room switched and we’re “upgraded.” They thought this would make it better, but it wasn’t an upgrade, it was actually a smaller room just on a higher floor. I am very disappointed that no discount or at least a partial refund was offered and very disappointed it took 4 times before a room switch was offered. None of the front desk agents seemed concerned just a vague “sorry” after the 4th time. Also, one of the front desk agents, Latoya I believe, was not very friendly at all when we were checking out.

This was the perfect location for our first trip to NYC. Easy walking to everything - Times Square, subway, Broadway shows, shopping, parks, etc. I highly recommend and would stay there again. Rooms and hotel were very clean. The room is a bit smaller than I’m used to but the view of Times Square made up for it.

Fantastic hotel and unbeatable location - just a few steps from Times Square. I was on a high floor (free upgrade - thank you lovely gentleman that checked us in) and so it was super quiet and we slept like babies. Very comfortable beds and amazing bathroom facilities!

Despite a short one night stay, this hotel has a warm friendly and polite staff with an easy check in Hotel is located on Theater row and convenient to Times Square, Rock Center and 5th ave shopping! Rooms are nicely designed, fresh and comfortable bedding, and a nice bathroom with powerful rain shower head. 54 Rooftop Lounge has a nice Ambiance and a friendly and accommodating bar staff. Great Value and I would highly recommended!

They kept me waiting for 2.5 hours for my prepaid reservation. Together with my wife and child, we had a very exhausting check-in experience. They did honor our request for a high-floor room, but the rooms are not soundproof as they claimed—you can easily hear people coughing in the next room. Do you think it’s possible to sleep in a hotel this close to Times Square? The staff are also very irresponsible and excel at hanging up the phone in your face. They disturb you by telling you to “call hotels.com and deal with it.” I really don’t know how to explain the fact that in a hotel where you pay $500 per night, the beds are uncomfortable and you can feel the bed springs in your back.

When I arrived to check-in I was a bit disgruntled that the deposit due was not the same deposit both posted and I also called before hand to make sure because my balance for my stay was about $91 I am aware hotels require a security hold nevertheless I also inquired about checking in early due to my flight which I was willing to pay the $90 fee. There were 2 staffs that “helped” me at first which were not very welcoming but finally a Black lady assisted me with checking in and her service was absolutely wonderful as she wish me Happy Birthday. I also inquired that it was my birthday prior to arriving and I was told that balloons & a card will be sent to my room and to my dismay there weren’t any which is not the end of the world I just wish I hadn’t been looking forward to it. On the bright side the location was amazing right in the heart of the city it was my little home for the weekend and the rooftop bar was indeed worth visiting. I Overall enjoyed my birthday trip to New York

Not a very modern hotel but great location and well maintained, clean, quiet and excellent staff. We stayed 3 nights and upgraded our ‘high floor’ room to a ‘times square view suite’ upon arrival, based on a promotion offered by the staff at check in. This suite had a separate living room and nice large bathroom with tub and great shower pressure. We ordered breakfast every morning (3 times), it was ok and was delivered in less than 15 mins each day. Can’t beat the location if you wanna be close to Times Square!

The hotel was wonderful, great location to Rockefeller Center, Train Station & Bryant Park. Only problem I had was I did not get hot water in the morning to take a hot shower, however the hotel waived my resort fee for that night immediately without having to ask when I checked out. Which was great! The Doormen are incredibly nice; one gentleman in particular we've met over the last couple years. The inhouse food area is very nice & convient.

I had an overall pleasant stay at this hotel and was happy with the comfort, cleanliness, and service provided. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed to find that 'breakfast included' actually meant a $20 credit per person at the hotel's small café bar with very limited food menu. The café's prices were high, and the credit did not cover a full breakfast. I believe this should be more clearly communicated to guests in advance. I think that the breakfast setup could be improved.

Great location, easily walkable to a ton of attractions and theaters. Irish Pub next door was an easy, family friendly place for dinner. Would recommend all around. The bar on the 54th floor was a fantastic bonus.
