Town House Lodge

Liked the location. Clean rooms. Easy check in. However, the pool was closed even though it was end of June and it was suppose to be available for use.

Loved everything about it, especially the fire pit!

It's hard to review this as some things were very good and others not so much. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the lobby was cute, and the location was convenient. They had a nice firepit, which we didn't use, and we didn't check out the pool, but noticed it had a padlock on it so expect it was unavailable anyways. Maybe due to the heavy amount of rain, I don't know. There were some negatives that would prevent us from staying there again. First, we were supposed to get our room # and code by email by 2:00pm the day of check-in; we did not, so had to call and request it and wait for it to arrive. It wasn't a huge deal but still, kind of inconvenient. Then when we arrived to our room, there was a mattress (old?) propped up against the outside wall outside of our room the entire time, which was weird and kind of unpleasant and felt junky. We couldn't seem to get the Keurig to work in our room (we have one at home, so we're familiar with the equipment) or in the lobby, so had to dash out to McD's down the street for morning coffee. Again, not a big deal but inconvenient. There was no hair dryer in the room nor in the lobby, but that's on me for not reading the room amenities closer. I didn't bother calling for one. Lastly, we received an email of a receipt upon check-out, but it was for someone else - another credit card # (not ours). Strange. I had to check our credit card to make sure we weren't charged duplicate or in error (we weren't).

This was a perfect spot. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and being able to cook. Its about a 10 min walk to downtown Lake Placid and close to restaurants

What a great location. We walked across the street and ended up renting a boat to tour lake placid and go tubing. Had fun in the heated pool after. Their suite was great for our family so we had a room for the kids and a kitchenette for snacks.

The location is great. Loved the “office” area which had a full kitchen for your use. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if travelling through New York State.

Great place to stay!!! We ended up here at the last minute and the owner was so pleasant to speak with when I called them for the code. It’s a very clean place, there is a wonderful communal kitchen that is spotless as well. Great location, right in town, can walk anywhere.

I liked that this property is not right in the middle of the main street, but close enough. Loved the pool and the quiet. The staff is very friendly. Thanking Rodney for his help with housekeeping. The mattress in our deluxe king was sunken in the middle and the pillows were too big and fat for me. A little updating would do wonders, but overall, I would definitely recommend this property.

Great place with beautiful accommodations, including a heated tile floor throughout bathroom area! Pool was heated and clean, also had many poolside games available for use. Would def stay here again next time we’re in the area!

We loved our stay at the Town House Lodge. It was affordable, comfortable, and filled our needs. The beds were absolutely comfortable! There was always hot water for a shower. I was happy to find wooden floors that appeared very clean (you never know how clean carpeting is). The outdoor pool was HEATED! Perfect for us. A little walk from the village, but not far at all. We will definitely be back.

Town House Lodge was the perfect spot for our quick overnight. We got in late and the room was ready and waiting for us. The room was super chic and modern and very clean! It was also a great price. We knew we weren't staying long, so didn't want to spend a ton. This is also an excellent location - not far from main street. Would definitely stay again!

Sink was clogged and dirty wwith food scraps. Not enough linen, towels for dishes cleaning or bathroom. Need hooks to hang bathroom towels up on

Clean, freshly painted room, excellent location, wonderful staff.

Very nice rooms and comfortable bed. Firewood provided for free. Only downside our room was not cleaned but we called and was fixed within 30 minutes.

Absolutely enjoying our stay here with no complaints. Staff was very helpful and the rooms were exceptionally clean,fresh and vibrant in color. Close to everything in town and a fabulous pizza restaurant right next door and they can make awesome specialty pizzas and much more. Rooms have everything you need for a memorable stay. We will return here on our next paddling and fishing adventure for sure. Great job and a top notch place to stay.

Very clean and nice! After 9 hrs of driving, it was a welcoming, warm, cozy room. Very nice!

Excellent experience, super clean & rooms are modernized. Owners were very responsive and location is walkable to the village which is a huge bonus.

Town House Lodge offers a quiet and charming refuge from the bustle of Lake Placid yet is only a 10-minute stroll from the dining, shopping and sight-seeing. The room I stayed in was attractively updated, immaculately clean and comfortable. Check-in was digital and efficient. Questions and support calls were handled quickly in a guest-friendly manner. Next time in Lake Placid, I'll definitely stay here again.

Worst stay I’ve ever had. Sheets were never changed from the last guest there was hair from different people covered up under a made bed. Only noticed it when I saw bugs jumping around and decided to check the mattress. We eventually switched rooms to one that was mustier and had a smell of sweat and the air filter light was red because it needed to be cleaned. There are no blackout curtains!!! What hotel doesn’t have blackout curtains you can see the street lights/ outside lights which doesn’t feel safe and didn’t let me sleep

Tub dripped, taps are opposite to what they should be, coffee machine didn’t work, fan in room too loud, chair would be appreciated. Otherwise clean room, comfy bed.

Our room was very clean. Bathroom did not steam up at all but lacked towel bars and shelves or a table to set our toiletries, clothes, etc. on. Shampoo dispenser was empty. No shelves in the very small shower area to set toiletries on except for one very small soap holder and no place to hang washcloth or bath puff. Mattress sagged in middle. We would have enjoyed a breakfast at the lodge. So we found some bad points with our room but also some good. It was nothing fancy but it was adequate.

Great location just a short walk from the Main Street in town. Easy access to restaurants and shopping, yet quiet and low key. Large room with wood floor(so no dirty carpet) comfortable bed, walk in shower with refrigerator and microwave. Room was very clean and good space to store belongings. Nice big soft towels. Pool was nice for a dip after a hot day. The office had a complete kitchen and ice machine. One night we ate leftovers from dining out with some salmon we cooked in the oven. Nice patio outside to eat on. Grill available. The check in was done online with a key sent to your phone with a combo for the door as well. I found this convenient and easy. The office also had pool towels and any supplies you might need. Great stay and I would highly recommend. Very clean which is important to me! Great location and nice room. Very enjoyable stay.

Everything was great except the pillows,they were too fat and because of that I was not able to sleep well

Nice location, attractive grounds, nicely decorated room, check-in worked well. Bed was very soft. Repeated cooking smells in room 44 above kitchen,

The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. At this time of year it was quiet. Room looked as if it was recently upgraded (molding still not painted). Close to the main street so is walkable. Early check in was available and app worked welI for opening door (no need for door key). Would recommend moving the coat rack by the door instead of it hanging over the refrigerator area where the coffee maker is located. Longer items hit the coffee maker. Hair dryer should be moved. Current location barely allows you to see in the mirror (cord to short). The TV remote did not work. Couldn't see the Big Game. Asked the office the first day and the woman couldn't assist. Sent message on the app that wasn't responded to.

Room was great. Got locked out when packing up to leave. They were available immediately to let us in. Only other feedback was the walls were thin so you heard cars starting and doors shutting clearly.

Great stay and Miguel was very nice and accommodating with prompt service when needed. Clean and quiet. Close to town. It was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back to stay here again!

Property was great, convenient, staff was courteous. However, a couple of observations. There is no microwave in the room despite showing in the listing. We were supposed to receive the code automatically but, had to call the number to get the codes

Nice location and convinently located. But the rooms amenities could be better. The fixtures of the rooms are cheaply arranged/ made. There is no receptions after 8pm in the ground is a bit inconvenient for the customers.

Very difficult to contact but nice people once I made contact with them. Facilities were fantastic

Location was a little further away than I expected but it was still a nice place to go. Had to walk up hill from Mirror lake and after ice skating your legs would definitely hurt. The room was clean and had an updated bathroom.

Super expérience, the contractor on site was amazing, he was making sure we had fire wood and starting the fire for the guests every night. The instructions to enter the room were clear and easy. We had everything we needed in the room and in the kitchen area available for the guest.

Bring your own coffee pods if you need caffeine in the morning. But other than that, this place should have everything you need! I will definitely come back. Our stay was great.

We liked the shared kitchen/lobby area for guest use. Well stocked with pans and fun to meet other lodgers. Also lovely sitting area around campfire with view of the lake. Convenient location. Renovated room lacked hooks or places to hang or lay clothing. Recommend bringing hangers.

The communal kitchen was a great place to prepare breakfast without going out to eat. We stayed to attend Winter Carnival in Saranac and headed out each morning ready for the day.
