Hampton Inn & Suites Albany At Albany Mall

Please update facility more. The suites are not erogimacally convent. I.e. the tv should be on the wall opposite where it is- based on all bed positions- I got a crook in my neck trying to watch tv. Breakfast items were mislabeled each day, could have been better. The staff was really nice. Pool was green.

Very limited television station options, computers in lobby weren't working properly. Otherwise, we had a positive experience. Would recommend.

The location was great the property was nice. My complaint is they really need to invest in new bed linens and comforters. They are stained and dirty looking I had to ask for more bedding. Thanks for considering my suggestion.

Great clean stay!

I like the design of the breakfast area. It was very inviting. The breakfast was delicious. The pillows were way too soft, they need to be upgraded to firm pillows. The hotel overall was very clean.

The breakfast was the highlight of the day. Most of the front desk personnel were great. The rooms cleanliness was marginal at best. Dirty carpet and bathroom needed cleaning. The first room given to me had plaster and baseboard loosely on the floor. I was offered another room. I promise you l will not bother your hotel chain in the future. Dr. Hogans

The sheets were dirty upon arrival. However, the young lady at the front desk came within 10 minutes and changed them out for me. She saved the night! Kudos to her.

good place to stop on the way from FL to TN but the carpet needs change. didn't dare leave the kids step on that thing. dust 2 fingers tall around the edge.

We stayed here when we evacuated our town due to a hurricane. We were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly.

We stayed for one night, to split up a long drive, and was very pleased. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, rooms were clean.

Location was superb, toilet was almost falling off, breakfast not very variable

Our stay was one night so I didn't get to use or even see the swimming pool. With that said, The room and all we saw was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable, and we even got a noon checkout time. There was a slight problem where the bathroom sink was a little slow. We came across a manager in the hallway on our way to check out and told her. She immediately picked up her walkie talkie and put a hold on our room to have it looked at. Breakfast, while not homemade, was good. Eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, cereals, oatmeal, milk, juices, and coffee.

I refuse to stay at hotels where druggies stay so I tend to spend a little more and almost always happier and less annoyed. Hampton Inn was wonderful. From the check in via the lady that had braces (we had a funny conversation about them) to the lady monitoring the food this morning. Staff was great!! The room was very nice and I loved the pillows but the bed was a little slouchy. It was nice having the couch as well as the office chair and an additional fancy chair. Room and bathroom was very spacious, only complaint is that we had a view of the concrete slab on the second floor. No big deal but wow. The hotel seemed like it was full and I did make the reservation last minute. Breakfast was just what was needed to get our day going. We had our dog with us and there was a decoration on the table near the elevator that looked similar to a ball, in a dog’s eyes. I had to pull her back from it. Lol. All in all great stay and would definitely book again.

The beds are very comfortable

The bed in the room was very comfortable. The only down side was the towel holder on the bathroom door was very sharp. I brushed against it and received a pretty good cut. Recommend removing the lower towel holder from the door.

The stay was ok. It was a long overnight trip, so I took our fur baby, an emotional support dog. The paperwork is legit. As we checked out, we noticed we had a pet fee of $75. Now, it’s not about the money. My review that the night attendant said my husband and I snuck him in was a lie. We always use the side doors; just never one that liked to go through the front lobby but to check in, and clearly, she saw the dog. She couldn’t have told that lie, so if you stay here, ensure you get all the correct information. Also, she tried to bash the third party we used, Expedia. I think, as in customer service, you should not try to provide false information and compare prices unless that's your expertise

The guy at the front desk totally messed up my reservation. There was another party with my last name. He gave me their room. 2 hours later they walked in because they gave them keys to the same room. Then made it seem like my fault. Not happy with this place.

When I first walked in the first attendant didn’t acknowledge me (she was helping another customer but a quick I’ll be just with you would have sufficed) but the second attendant did and she made the check in wonderful.

Great hotel and wonderful staff

I booked a double room but upon arrival I was given a king accessible. The hotel says that is what hotels.com booked but my reservation shows that I booked a double room which I showed the hotel staff. I was still given the king accessible. So I wasn’t happy with that and hotels.com charged me $ 422.00 when the actual bill from the hotel was $ 380.00

Hotel staff was always pleasant. Our king size bed was super comfortable. Room was clean and had all we needed…except body soap dispenser in shower was empty. The shower was amazing! The hotel decor needs a serious update. Normally I wouldn’t comment on decor because I know everyone’s taste is different, but this decor truly hurt my eyeballs. My main complaint is the breakfast. Not good at all. The food seemed old and was nearly cold. Eggs were not kept replenished…so I can’t comment on those. Grits pot was empty on day one…and the oatmeal on day two was not cooked all the way. They even ran out of forks on our first morning, and when I asked for some, I was told they had NONE. Hubby ate his waffles with a spoon. I mean, it’s a “free” breakfast, but they really could do better.
