The staff is lovely overall, except housekeeping who doesn’t respect your privacy when you have the privacy sign on your door. The guys on the beach are amazing. Swimming in the ocean was perfect. The gym is way too small, could never get a treadmill. They need tennis courts. The music in the casino was bad and deafening.

The hotel was nice and the beach great. But we had a power outage and the hotel did not have generator power. I had to go up the stairs to the 6th floor twice. Found out that power outages are common in Aruba but the hotel should be prepared for that. No apologies or compensation.

Overall, it was excellent. In low- high season, you must go down at least 6:50 am to pick a spot at the beach. You must wait for the pool attendants who arrive around 7:00 am. Don't act entitled, and make sure to tip them. Their customer service is top-notch. You have two hours to return to your spot.

We were talked into upgrading at check in to the club level room (7th floor) with ocean front view. It was nice to have the access to food/drinks all day, however I don’t think it was worth the extra $550 per night. Room was very nice, clean, great view. Mitchell who assisted us at the beach was wonderful-he made a birthday celebration extra special. The construction going on on the sushi restaurant was disappointing because it blocked the views you normally see when walking into the hotel. We were looking forward to having sushi the first night, but they were only serving a couple small rolls in the club lounge. We are looking forward to returning when the sushi lounge is open. Dinner at BLT was also great-recommend the seafood platter-it was fresh and delicious. Aside from feeling like I was oversold on the club access, we had a great experience, received excellent service and hope to be back one day soon.

We stayed 12/31-1/6. Service from start to finish was outstanding! The coffee shop has great drinks and breakfast items. Drinks were expensive but very good quality. Room was clean and very comfortable. Beach chairs a bit of a pain as people set their personal items on them and then disappear for the day. The policy is you can move stuff after 2 hours, but the beach staff are very reluctant to do so. Food at the pool/beach was very good.

Perfect Mother/Daughter August 2025 vacation. Fabulous staff. There is nothing they will not do for you to make your Ritz experience unforgettable. Rooms are spacious & kept spotless. On site dining was very good & convenient. Pool/beach areas are spotless & provide comfortable lounge chairs, unlimited towels, sunscreen & ice water stations (bring your water bottle for easy refills.) Segway servers are at your service throughout the day bringing drinks & food right to your seat. It is amazing to watch how effortlessly they navigate through the chairs. Pool & Fitness center are open 24/7. Floats, kayaks, paddle boards are free of charge. Musicians during outdoor day & evenings are so impressive. There was a different instrument each day including a sax, guitar, violin with familiar & tasteful tunes. The spa was lovely. We did a couples massage for 90 minutes & it was the best. No reservation are required to use the relaxation room, steam room & whirlpool. This is a nice perk if you need a break from the fun & sun. My daughter & I are committed to our Ritz Aruba vaca each year. We are so lucky & appreciative to have enjoyed the best experience ever!!

Once they found out we booked through Expedia our next upgrade would cost us 10k for our stay. Our room was never clean. There was hair in the tub the whole time that was not ours, they never cleaned the bathroom or floors and they never dusted. They even left our dirty towels. They just made our bed and gave us a couple new towels not touching the rest of the room. The pool was also dirty every day. The front desk was horrible, treated us like we were bothering them every time we asked a question. They called us in the middle of the night and asked us if we wanted water and woke us up? Our toilet broke twice, the sink drain did not drain. The hallway on our floor smelled like puke. It was awful. Will never stay there again and will think twice about booking through Expedia because we were certainly looked down on.

We had some great pool and beach servers, Jean Carlo, Smily and Brandon were fantastic and we visited them almost every day for our week on property. Despite being in an executive suite, the room unfortunately had some shortcomings with hair on the carpets and we found a pretty large bug. With a 7 month old on our trip we spent time on the floor playing. The hallways also needed a pretty good vacuum. Overall we had a good trip and the location, staff and amenities were good for our trip with a child.

The property is beautiful and the staff is awesome. Two items I would offer for improvement: (1) Clean out the napkins and debris in the pools in the afternoon; (2) Decorate the hallways to the rooms. They look drab or a bit aged compared to the gorgeous lobby and beach/pool area. Overall our 8-night stay way outstanding and I would return in a heartbeat. I had room service one night and the meal was incredible! Perfectly served, hot, exactly on time, and delicious. We ate watching kite surfers against a gorgeous sunset on our deck. Outstanding!!!

Beautiful property, extremely clean. Service was terrific most of the time, especially at the beach. The waiters use Segways, so very timely service. Beach was clean and beautiful, towel service complimentary and very friendly. Pool also very beautiful, but the service at the pool was sometimes a little slow. Food was very good, also at BLT Steakhouse on property. Drink prices were very high (local Balashi beer $10 per can?!, mixed drinks $18 each), which resulted in hefty bar bills throughout our stay. We switched to the Ritz after staying the first night at the Marriott Stellaris next door, and we were so glad we made the switch!

Dinner at BLT was excellent, great exec room facing the ocean. Very pretty. Beach front was well maintained and controlled for being service orientated for drinks and food. Room was big and comfortable as was the king bed. Things were clean and we saw and experienced good roaming security so we felt safe. The ritz might be a bit more in price but well worth the experience staying in Noord versus in the town of Oranjestad. The big cruise boats unload thousands of people and the streets parking and hotels are packed. Better to stay north and have a private beach.

The Ritz is beautiful and well positioned. Staff were all very friendly and service was top notch. Pools are pretty and have comfortable chairs. However-the bed and pillows are rock hard- not what it would expect from a luxury brand. Prices for everything are insanely high (expected I suppose) pools are kind of boring- would be nice to have some music and entertainment out there. I think I will choose a different hotel next time.

The facility is tired and needs a major overhaul. The lobby is surprisingly basic, the hallways and especially the rooms are lacking in character and style. As constituted this is a 3.5 to 4 star facility with 5 star service. On the other hand the beach and pool are very good and the poolside service is particularly good. The lunch restaurant, Madera, has really good food. I very much enjoyed the pasta at the Italian restaurant. Overall, though, this place simply doesn live up to the Ritz Carlton name and is not worth the high room rates.

We had an ocean view room which was well appointed, if you forget something it will be there from Aruba aloe shampoo, condition, body wash and lotion. We were 6223 and a 2 minute walk from elevator to room. If you forget something in the room, you aren’t going back for it. The staff at lobby bar were very polite and professional. Food at lobby bar was very good. The beach bar staff also very polite and professional. The food wasn’t bad. We did enjoy 24 hour room service. My only complaint was the service at the beach. My goodness, I need a bell to get their attention. Overall, the hotel wasn’t bad but $1k a night, I was expecting more. And remember you are paying additional for room.

I had the most amazing stay at the Ritz Carlton Aruba and choosing the Club Lounge access made it even more special. The Club Lounge is basically an all-inclusive experience with a beautiful continental breakfast, delicious lunch, dinner, desserts and plenty of snacks throughout the day. The food was consistently outstanding and the bar served only premium top shelf liquor. The service here is on another level. Everyone takes the time to remember your name and makes you feel like family. Eric Abdul, Rose, Rico and Alexsander went above and beyond and truly made the trip unforgettable. Day 1 I asked for lemonade and although they did not have any, they immediately squeezed some fresh for me which was such a thoughtful touch. The gesture really showed how far the team is willing to go for guests. Housekeeping also deserves special recognition. They helped my best friend decorate the room for my birthday which made the celebration so memorable. The last day we still had wet swimsuits and they washed and dried them for us so we could pack. From start to finish, the entire staff made me feel cared for in every way. If you are planning a stay in Aruba, I cannot recommend the Club Lounge access highly enough. It is worth every bit and made this vacation truly unforgettable.

Hi my husband and I stayed there two weeks. On our last day we had went downstairs to eat at the restaurant and I had went upstairs to use the restroom in our room by myself and come in to find a man’s phone and RFID room key bracelet in my room on a table. so I ran out to get my husband - we had a privacy sign on the door! We had just had turned down service so I knew there was no maids there immediately called security. They came to the room and admitted that they let a drunk man into our room!! without identification. They said he was hanging around the room and told an employee he didn’t have his ID but it was his room so they let him in without checking anything!! Very scary. Complete security protocol breakdown!! He left his cell phone and an RFID bracelet which no one in the hotel is allowed to have according to security! 😱. Please note that we stayed there for two weeks and multiple times in the past and everyone there knows who we are and where our room was so how in the world this happened this is beyond us. If he was in the room when my wife went there by herself, God knows what might’ve happened!!! They promised to get back to us and to investigate the situation but they never did Because of that I find myself leaving this review because I don’t want anyone else to experience this.

This was a disappointing experience overall, given what we paid for this Ritz-Carlton. It started with attempts to over-charge us to get the view we originally booked, and us waiting till past 6pm for room (they offered a round at the bar thankfully). We had issues with noise in the middle of the night, loud people yelling day/night, furniture moving above us at 3am, etc. that we mentioned to the staff and no one offered any assistance. The experience was tainted by a large group, with teens partying and over-running the pools, hot tub, and beach - while most of them were not staying at the hotel. Management did not monitor non-hotel guests using our amenities. We were originally told we would be able to use the pools and amenities at other Marriott hotels, but when we tried we were rejected by these hotels. We had issues with concierge assisted dinner reservations (e.g., at Madame Jeanette), where they told us we had no reservation after we cabbed over there, and were stuck waiting. Finally we booked a private tour with assistance of the concierge, but they misled us with the rate. I was told a cab would be $60/hr and that Super Limo is a 2 hour minimum for $130, which is why I moved forward with Super Limo. We were surprised when seeing our bill at check out that we were charged $260 for this, so we spoke to the manager and she said she couldn't help us (even more surprising!). With 2 hours, we barely saw much (they drive slow) and had no time to shop.

Disappointing experience with front desk staff, adult pool extremely small, at check out we valeted our own bags because no one picked up the desk phone after multple call attempts to ask for help and a cart. We also had Issues with overcharging my card at check in even when I was prepaid thru expedia. Then additional daily credit holds continued to hit my card for more than we were spending daily, and that was still less than the check in hold amount. We brought this question to front desk immediately on day 2, no explanation was given, and no follow up occured. No policies about this happening were covered during check in. When it wasnt resolved I emailed the guest services coord, still no explanation of why it continued to happen, but finally on check out day someone emailed me back my final expenses list. I decided to lock my card on night 2 to prevent more than the $1800 in holds they already placed. Besides that nonsense, we werent thrilled with the experience and property compared to the marriott resort next door amenities. Also be wise to remember types of other guests who may stay there. We experienced rude behavior with other guests on the beach. Its a dog eat dog world for reserving beach chairs and likely being the highest tipper gets you a reserved chair in front row even though you dont get to the beach until 11am. We were early beach people looking for the most shade so it was dascinating to watch it all unfold. Stay elsewhere.

The staff on the property is top notch. By the pool, we were served by Greg and Lyndon who were respectful, attentive and an absolute pleasure. They made sure our chairs were prepped, providing towels and always checked to see if we were okay or if we needed something else. Brandon was just as attentive when Greg and Lyndon were off for the day. We loved being offered an ice-cold popsicle in the very hot afternoons and a cool towel. Additionally, Mario and Andre in Casa Nonna went out of their way to provide extraordinary service at the restaurant. The lobster ravioli was delicious as was the focaccia bread. Every staff member greets you and treats you as if you were their long-lost cousin. The beach staff is also very attentive. This is the place to be if you want to be treated like royalty.

The RC Aruba is clean, upscale and the beach and pool areas not crowded. Several dining options, all expensive but large enough portions to split easily. They bring around pieces of fruit and ice pops around the beach and pool, complimentary and you can also order from a menu and charge to the room. Very friendly people all over the island and at the hotel. Mhifhly recommend. Not in walking distance of anything else but a quick cab ride is always available out front for $7-$35 dollars, the latter to the airport.

While the property is the last in a line of the hotels along the beach the amenities offered are a quiet upscale experience. It is self-contained - meaning that if you choose to simply relax enjoy the beach, spa, inhouse dining and casino, you are all set on this property. This was our second of which I know will be many more stays.

Last property on the high rise hotel strip. Walkable to main restaurants and bars. Property is okay - aging a bit. Restaurants are very expensive - you can find better food for 1/3 the cost. Beach is nice but getting beach chair is tough - be prepared to wake up at 6:30 and wait 30m for someone to set it up. They take time count for the beach chair - two hours max for you to return or it will be forfeited. Pretty crazy trying to relax and sleep in on vacation. BLT steakhouse on-site is a huge disappointment. I love BLT and have eaten there in LA/Miami and DC. BLT in Aruba is horrible - service is mediocre and food prep is horrible. I ordered $100 ribeye Pittsburg style - they just gave me medium steak. I sent it back and asked to have it remade charred like it supposed to be. They took the same stake and cooked it more - not charred and brought it out to me. It was well done and tasted like piece of wood. Waiter didn’t even apologize. Stay is okay but eat in town - much better and cheaper.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton last August and decided to come back to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I have nothing but great things to say about this resort. From the moment that we got off the taxi the service was top notch. The property is centrally located and one can walk to the restaurants, casinos and other areas in Palm Beach. However, if you want to visit Oranjestad, the other side of the island or other beaches you’ll have to either rent a vehicle or get a taxi. There are various activities to do on the island but you can spend a whole day on the property and have fun, relax and enjoy the beautiful private beach. There are complimentary kayaks, paddle boards and other floating devices on site. The resort restaurants offer delicious meals. We brought back the fish we caught when we went deep sea fishing and Chef Peter from the BLT restaurant prepared three meals that were exceptionally delicious. I want to give a special thanks to Ray, the restaurant’s manager. We were treated like royalty. We will definitely come back soon!

I had the most amazing stay at the Ritz Carlton Aruba and choosing the Club Lounge access made it even more special. The Club Lounge is basically an all-inclusive experience with a beautiful continental breakfast, delicious lunch, dinner, desserts and plenty of snacks throughout the day. The food was consistently outstanding and the bar served only premium top shelf liquor. The service here is on another level. Everyone takes the time to remember your name and makes you feel like family. Eric Abdul, Rose, Rico and Alexsander went above and beyond and truly made the trip unforgettable. Day 1 I asked for lemonade and although they did not have any, they immediately squeezed some fresh for me which was such a thoughtful touch. The gesture really showed how far the team is willing to go for guests. Housekeeping also deserves special recognition. They helped my best friend decorate the room for my birthday which made the celebration so memorable. The last day we still had wet swimsuits and they washed and dried them for us so we could pack. From start to finish, the entire staff made me feel cared for in every way. If you are planning a stay in Aruba, I cannot recommend the Club Lounge access highly enough. It is worth every bit and made this vacation truly unforgettable.

Lovely hotel right on the beach; staff was above and beyond nice. Beach pails and shovels provided for kids upon arrival. Water bottles provided through stay. Buffet was delicious but lots of flies (I suppose to be expected in tropical weather) and pricey for adults ($39 pp).

Dinner at BLT was excellent, great exec room facing the ocean. Very pretty. Beach front was well maintained and controlled for being service orientated for drinks and food. Room was big and comfortable as was the king bed. Things were clean and we saw and experienced good roaming security so we felt safe. The ritz might be a bit more in price but well worth the experience staying in Noord versus in the town of Oranjestad. The big cruise boats unload thousands of people and the streets parking and hotels are packed. Better to stay north and have a private beach.

Everything you’d expect from the Ritz Carlton. Exceptional service overall. We enjoyed the complimentary sunscreen and water. Dinner at BLT Steak was phenomenal.

In house restaurant very poor service with birds attacking ur food every morning and bird poop everywhere. Room service 45 minutes for simple quesidilla. You would think this hotel would have that figured out for that level of luxury hotel

We were talked into upgrading at check in to the club level room (7th floor) with ocean front view. It was nice to have the access to food/drinks all day, however I don’t think it was worth the extra $550 per night. Room was very nice, clean, great view. Mitchell who assisted us at the beach was wonderful-he made a birthday celebration extra special. The construction going on on the sushi restaurant was disappointing because it blocked the views you normally see when walking into the hotel. We were looking forward to having sushi the first night, but they were only serving a couple small rolls in the club lounge. We are looking forward to returning when the sushi lounge is open. Dinner at BLT was also great-recommend the seafood platter-it was fresh and delicious. Aside from feeling like I was oversold on the club access, we had a great experience, received excellent service and hope to be back one day soon.

We had a lovely stay and I found nearly all of the staff to be very welcoming and engaging. The one exception was the hostess at the steakhouse on Friday evening. Maybe she was having a bad evening. We took a quick look at the menu and went elsewhere. In contrast, the staff near the pool and the adjacent dining area were fabulous.

Beautiful property, extremely clean. Service was terrific most of the time, especially at the beach. The waiters use Segways, so very timely service. Beach was clean and beautiful, towel service complimentary and very friendly. Pool also very beautiful, but the service at the pool was sometimes a little slow. Food was very good, also at BLT Steakhouse on property. Drink prices were very high (local Balashi beer $10 per can?!, mixed drinks $18 each), which resulted in hefty bar bills throughout our stay. We switched to the Ritz after staying the first night at the Marriott Stellaris next door, and we were so glad we made the switch!
