Although I was a little confused at first, I was able to check in on time. However, despite the room being designated as non-smoking, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the room. I'm not sure whether a previous guest had smoked in the room or whether another guest staying in the same apartment had been smoking, but the smell had lingered in the room and even transferred to my clothes. This was a bit disappointing.

The apartment location is great -- Walking distance to the old town, attractions, city center bus station, and tour meeting points. The apartment is well-maintained and clean, and the host is nice. Downsides: Like other European countries, this apartment doesn't have an elevator, so it's not good for people with large and heavy luggage. Also, if you don't pay the fee in advance when you book, you'll have to pay cash in euros at check-in.

The property is very nice and is in a good position. We found the check in system slightly annoying as we were not sent details until less than one hour before we arrived at the property and required a lot of WhatsApp messaging. We were able to get in ok but previously for bookings like this the check in details arrive a lot earlier and a lot loss effort.
