Great! Huge room for our family of 5, with plenty of sleeping space and everything we needed for our overnight stay. Pool and outdoor breakfast area were a perfect addition. Staff so friendly on arrival. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were so welcoming and always keen to help. The room was good value for money and is located so close to the Main Street that you could just walk too. We also loved all the sheep images. The kids also loved the pool since it was hot weather.

I liked the location of the property. Kettle did not work so had to wait till 8am to call for another one. Cramped parking spaces. Guest laundry is filthy. We were given room upstairs. Prior to this we always had a call from the accomodation discussing options as we always had requested for ground floor.

The room was really nice, the floor and the bathroom were clean which was impressive, The booking system and the updates were great till check-in. The linen was clean, and I could smell the freshness which was fantastic. Here’s what I found, the plates, cups and the cutlery were dusty the kettle had water when I got it out of the cupboard which means its was not emptied or cleaned by room services. The only staff member I interacted with was the receptionist, she was very professional and didn’t find her to be warm or welcoming (Genuine feedback for improvement).

Check in was easy and staff were lovely. Room is old and in need of repairs, and is nothing like the pictures. The 2 bedroom is not 2 bedrooms - it is 1 separate bedroom with the other beds in the room that is the dining and lounge space. Great that there is crockery and cutlery but as the only sink is in the toilet/bathroom area, a bucket is supplied if you need to wash them. The noise from the room above was a constant loud thudding of footsteps. The accommodation was not as expected. Location is good.

We stayed in the Deluxe King room and had a great stay. The room is very spacious, the shower pressure was great and the bath was an awesome feature. Location was quiet and convenient. The only negative was that none of the windows in the rooms locked. I mentioned this to staff upon check out and was advised they are aware that they don’t lock and was assured there and cameras around the property. I personally don’t feel this is a satisfactory situation.

We arrived much earlier than expected and were warmly welcomed by the staff, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family of six. The location is convenient—close to food options and easy to get around. Unfortunately, we did have very loud neighbours who disturbed our children’s sleep several times throughout the night, which did impact our overall stay, but not the fault of hotel. Otherwise, it was a great stopover.

We recently stayed for 1 night in the king room. It was amazing! The bed was comfy, room decor was tasteful and the bathroom was amazing. There was a massive shower with a rain shower head, big bath, amazing water pressure, what more could you ask for. Shampoo, soap etc was nice smelling as well. Could not fault!

We had a friendly and welcoming check-in with a fresh and cold bottle of milk to make a much needed cup of tea. The room was spotless had everything we needed for our stay in Dubbo. The huge bath was great for soaking away the strains of a long drive. The pool, whilst not huge, was also a great addition to cool down when the temperature outside reached 40 degrees. The A/C also worked really well in the extreme heat. Overall we had a really great stay at the Shearing Shed. Thanks
