If you want to be in/near the Hamptons-and want downtime-this is the place. It is a sanctuary away from all of the hustle and bustle. It feels like you took the Sagamore and put it on the Long Island Sound.

The hotel itself, grounds rooms were beautiful, clean and very convenient and located. Views were beautiful from the oceanfront room that we had. The problem is with the food. The restaurant should be called the Mid wyn The breakfast was absolutely mediocre. The eggs were sitting there from 7 AM, but most disappointing was the dinner. We ordered the most expensive tomahawk on the menu and it came under half a pound of lettuce which was sketchy to begin with. After trying to cut a few bites, it was 90% fat when we complained to the waiter he brought over the Manager and the manager came over and offered to buy us a round of drinks. We had invited two other couples to join us for dinner and it was embarrassing. I took pictures. It was not Edible and The attitude of the manager was terrible. The chef should have never served this piece of steak, I would not even give it to my dog. They really need to get a handle on the food situation.
