Super Candle Hotel

Virkelig skuffende oplevelse. Vi havde set frem til et lækkert ophold på dette 4 stjernede hotel. Poolen var åben én dag og derefter lukket pga renovering, hvilket var tiltrængt, men var vi ikke informeret om dette inden. Man måtte gerne benytte spa og sauna, men det var meget slidt og der stak søm op af brædderne i saunaen. Værelset var meget fugtigt, hvilket man tydeligt kunne mærke på sengetøj og gulvtæppe, samt se på væggene, hvor tapetet bulede ud. Gardinerne lugtede slemt af mug og støv. Desværre kunne jeg også mærke det på min astma. Vi forsøgte at bestille vin i baren, men bartenderen kunne ikke finde prisen og kunne derfor ikke sælge til os. Morgenbuffeten var faktisk ok med et pænt udvalg, men absolut ikke grund nok til at vende tilbage. En rigtig ærgerlig oplevelse.

1) Poor swimming pool, gym (too small swimming pool and water level is too low) 2) Only provide 1 card key 3) Slow elevator 4) Poor breakfast (food is nearly dried and no variety) I will never stay here again.

Lovely hotel, Very nice staff. Unfortunately the pool and the skybar were both closed because of maintenance. That information would have been nice to get in advance.

This hotel truly offers an outstanding experience with its delicious breakfast, welcoming staff, and fantastic amenities including an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna bath. The relaxation opportunities are endless. Plus, it's conveniently located just 5KM from the old quarter area. Overall, this hotel is truly excellent.

Elevator is slow!

The hotel itself is really nice. We loved the pool and the spa staff and reception staff were really friendly and helpful. We had an unfortunate interaction with the restaurant staff on our last night where they kept ignoring us for the entire time and being quite rude, forgetting half our order and only waiting on other tables. Eventually we got up and left as we got tired of waiting for service and it left us quite upset. It was a bit of a hassle trying to get them to honor the expedia 20% off discounts with the VIP access but eventually they did at reception, i feel this was more a lack of communication to the other departments within the hotel. We did have to get up really early for a bus the mornjng we left and they put together breakfast bags for us which was really nice.

Water form the tap and shower was very oily. Probably such water contained something and it feels like not so good.

아침 식사: 무난한 수준의 적절하고 맛있었습니다. 객실: 넓고 편안하고 적절하였으나, 바퀴벌레가 있었어서 조금은 아쉽습니다. 직원: 정말 친절하고 친근합니다. 주변: 오토바이와 차량의 경적 소리가 조금은 거슬립다만 그렇게 심각하지는 않습니다.

롯데호텔과 롯데마트 근처 호텔을 알아보던중 일본계열의 호텔이란 리뷰와 조식이 괜찮다는 리뷰를 보고 예약했습니다. 호텔안에 방2개 4명이 쓸 수 있는 곳을 사용했습니다. 늦게 도착해서 친철한 프런트의 호의로 방에 잘도착했습니다.다만 호텔 청소상태가 엉망인지.... 청소 안한지 오래되었는지... 죽은 바퀴를 보는 바람에 ... 좀 많이 아쉬웠습니다. 그래도 그것 이외에는 직원들 친절하고 특히 조식은 아주 맛있었습니다.

Amenities are ancient, one of the towels had stains on it. Room was upkeep after one night.

プール、大浴場があって、子供連れにはとても良かったです。浴槽付きの広いお部屋にしたので、お部屋でも入浴出来たし、洗濯が出来て本当に助かりました。フロントの方で日本語が話せる方がとても親切で、毎回タクシーを呼んでいただく際助かりました。設備は少し古いですが綺麗にされています。残念だったことはお部屋のシャワールームの方の排水が悪かったことです。体調を崩してしまった子供にはルームサービスのうどんとオレンジジュースがありがたかったです。

もう4, 5回、いずれも1週間から2週間で、お世話になっている また近いうちにお世話になる気がする 部屋が空いていると、グレードアップしてくれてお得感がある 今回は2日目くらいまで、寝具に生乾き臭があって、少し気になりました 食事について、ベトナムでは新鮮で健康な日本的食材を安定して入手するのが難しいので、貴重なラインナップがあってうれしい 毎日納豆があるのもポイント高いけど、置き方に抵抗があるので、可能ならパックで提供してほしい 今回は一日だけ、大きめの冷ややっこの提供があったけど、ぜひ毎日ほしい ブロッコリーも毎日ほしい

一日おきに二泊しました。初めての利用でしたが部屋もベッドも広く室内は清潔で快適でした。朝食は、料理の種類も多くオムレツ、フォーは作りってを提供してくれます。 パンの種類も多くデニッシュがとてもおいしかったです。 ひとつ残念だったのはタオルが古くて元は白かった？ってくらいグレーになっていて端が擦り切れていました。 日本ではあり得ないレベルでした。 総合的にはまた利用したいホテルです。

無料アップグレードで使いきれない大きい部屋にしてくれた。朝食もおいしく、外がうるさい以外は全く文句がなかった。シャワーだけでなくお風呂が付いているし、ウォシュレットも付いていて快適です。

朝食は日本食もあり、美味しかった。 部屋は綺麗にしているが、止まった部屋の窓に1センチ程度の隙間があり、エアコンの効きが悪かった。

This hotel has everything that a five star hotel has. The breakfast is amazing. Very peaceful sleep without any noise. A bit far from the old town where everything is but we can catch grab to go anywhere so cheap. Staff are friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again

The room was much larger than expected. It was actually more like an apartment than a hotel room and I liked that because it was comfortable. The place was clean the staff very friendly and helpful. The one thing I would say is when I asked for more water I was old they only supply X number of waters per day. This is fine of course but since water is a basic commodity I would say sending two more bottles would not break the bank but make the customers feel comfortable. That said, I would return because everything was excellent.

Generelt veldig bra hotell. Godt lydisolert og hyggelig stab. Dårlige engelsk kunnskaper hos noen som jobbet i resepsjonen og kaffebaren. Veldig bra frokost.

Instead of writing another typical review about the property, I want to tell you about an event that occurred during our stay in Vietnam this week and how one person made an impact on the quality of our visit to this great country. My wife and I booked an overnight excursion to Sapa through a local tour company. The company had agreed to pick us up at the hotel and asked us to be waiting outside at 6:30 AM. Let me add, I had confirmed our agreement and arrangements again the night before. We waited for an hour getting several different stories from the tour company as to why the driver hadn’t shown. Around 7:35 AM, Mr. Chung, the hotel manager came outside personally to ask us what was happening. Upon explanation of our dilemma, Mr. Chung asked for the tour operator’s phone number. He then called to find out that the driver had apparently headed for Sapa and knowingly left us behind. I don’t speak the language so I have no idea what was said next but the thing. I know Mr Chung arranged for a taxi driver to chase down and meet the driver on hotel expense. He then even helped us carry our bags to the car. At the end of the day, my wife and I had a wonderful trip thanks to the actions of our hotel manager taking customer service to a new level. When we tried to thank him he was very humble and pretended it was nothing. But he didn’t know that I too work as a customer service manager and I realized the effort that he made to fix our problem was beyond the norm.

Every time I go to Hanoi i book the Super Candle. Their strongest suits are the massage (Linh) and the front desk (the Manager and Dat). Highly recommended

Super fint hotel, som opgraderede vores værelse ved ankomst og lod os tjekke ind tidligere. Fine værelser med god plads. Personalet ville virkelig gerne hjælpe med alt - engelsk var lidt svært ind imellem, men google translate virkede. Fantastisk morgenmad med venligt personale. Dejlig pool og gode badefaciliteter og spa

A 4 star hotel with a 5 start staff. The staff is really kind and will try to help you in every possible way. Dat spent nearly 2 hours to find me a Ha Long cruise, and only at the end I found out that he did that on his day off. Also the massages and food are really good. My only recommendation is for more staff to improve their English, other than that, 0 complaints. I'll be back for sure.

The service in this hotel is outstanding. Staff are always available and helpful whenever you need them. One staff in particular, bellman Mr Viet, has been the most helpful member of staff so far on my travels. His English is so fluent, it really surprised me that he has never spent time in an English speaking country. He advised me of how to travel, where to go and was always friendly and happy to help, in a professional manner. I personally think he should be in a higher position. The pool is a bit old. Massage was great from Lin. Great housekeeping. The only down side to this hotel is the location from the old quarter and town. But taxi's are quick to arrive and cost around 100,000 VND (6 AUD). In the evenings a couple of nights there was really loud music coming from a neighbouring building. All in all, i was happy with this hotel.

近くに日本大使館があるので日本料理店が沢山あって日本食に困らない。

日本人には嬉しいホテル。 受付に日本語を話すスタッフさんがいます。 部屋カードキーが誤作動で開かなくなった事が有りましたが、話しが通じるのでとても話しが早かったです。 お部屋もオシャレにリニューアルされており快適です。 エレベーターホールに日本人語だけで書かれたポスターが有り、日本枕があったり、朝食ブッフェも料理前に日本語表記が全て書かれていて、何と味噌、納豆まで、日本人びいきを感じました。 周辺にはコンビニ、カフェや焼肉屋、日本食屋が数件しか無いので、少し不便ですが、ロッテマートには歩いて15分くらいでしょうか。 途中、5分くらい歩くとカフェが続く通りがあり、20件近く並んでました。 その周りはショッピングモールも有り無印良品、日本食も数軒有り思っていたより便利な場所でした。 本来なら旧市街辺りが良いのかも知れませが、帰りが朝早かった事で、少しでも空港近い方が良いかと探したホテルでした。 旧市街へは毎回グラブで20分くらいで行けました。 後、他のホテルで見ない、気使いがありました。毎日の清掃も、汚れた物や、足らない物をメモにして、カゴにいれて、ドア外に出す。 シーツを変えて欲しい時だけ、部屋に入る様になっており、無駄が無く、ベストなサービスで有ると感じております。 私は海外旅行が趣味で毎年様々な国に行ってますが、この様な対応のホテルは初めてです。 お客様に快適にして頂くにはどうすれば良いかと考えておられます。 スタッフの皆様、快適に過ごせました。 ありがとうございました。

Breakfast is standard buffet breakfast - good but not exceptional. Traffic is very heavy and location not very central but Grab was very efficient, cheap and quick to get around even in peak hour.

Super Candle locates in a very busy street; however the hotel is fairly quiet. We appreciate how helpful the staff were to a bunch of elderly traveling through Hanoi. They were so kind and very attentive to our needs. The breakfast buffet foods quality and variety were not consistent- some day the food were great & fresh, other days it was not so abundant and lack luster. Overall, we had a great time at Super Candle hotel and would recommend it to our friends who are traveling through Hanoi.

スタッフの大部分の方が日本語話せるのは安心感大きいです。 朝食も美味しいものが多かった。スタッフの方の声かけ、気配りも良いですね。プリンがあったのも驚きました。 しかし、クロワッサンはビックリするくらい美味しくなかった。

Good breakfast Pool is a little small

時々アンケートやフロントにも伝えているが、朝の挨拶をしない。朝食会場では、受付以外、あいさつをしない。私語が多く、お客様ファーストでの接客でない。受付がいなく、列を作って待っていても、見て見ぬふり、エレベーター横のスタッフルーム？配膳室？で会話している？いつもいつも、朝食をすると気分が悪くなる。それと、朝食の飲物、フルーツジュースが薄すぎる。ほとんど水です。

朝食ブッフェは種類豊富で家族で美味しくいただきました。サウナ大浴場とありますが、水着着用なので日本式とは異なります。
