The rooftop bar is stunning at night with a helpful and efficient team there. It's unfortunate it isn't open throughout the day. The rooms are showing a bit of wear - especially with the wall coverings as some of the wallpaper is peeling away from the walls in some areas. Not a huge deal but shows a lack of attention to detail to me. Friendly staff - the young lady who checked me in asked specifically how I enjoyed the shows I mentioned when I checked out a couple days later - a nice touch. While this isn't necessarily a 'boutique' hotel, it has the feel that it isn't one of the mega, chain hotels and that's a plus.

Great spot 5 mins from Bryant Park - easy walking to everywhere without being right in Time Square. Bang in middle of East and West! Room was great - small but good bathroom. Rooftop bar fab and drinks in lobby a nice touch, especially morning coffee. Great value.

The property was an excellent boutique hotel with a bar and terrace on the 22nd floor which looked directly onto the Empire State Building. Excellent location to access uptown and downtown and the nearby Bryant Park was fantastic for a late afternoon drink, food and people watching. The one negative would be the size of the rooms which could be described as cosy but had very good bathrooms and walk-in shower. Considering the time spent in the room this was a minor problem. All in all it was an excellent hotel in an excellent location with very helpful staff. I would fully recommend a stay here.

Nice boutique hotel in Central New York. Room was small but nicely equipped with a number of nice touches. Service was friendly. One of the few hotels with an outdoor terrace as well as a roof top bar. Enjoyed staying there and would stay again.

Great spot right in the middle of Manhattan. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The view of the Empire State Building was a very nice touch as well. The only thing I noticed in terms of cleanliness/upkeep was that the wooden case around the mini fridge had started to deteriorate from the excess condensation.

The view from our room at The Archer Hotel was spectacular. The Empire State Building shined at night and we had an incredible time admiring its beauty. The room is immaculately clean but very small. I could barely move around without bumping into furniture. And the noise outside our room was very loud. We heard people moving and banging luggage and talking all day and night and the hallway stunk like cannabis smoke. The concierge was very polite and professional and the lobby looked and smelled lovely and clean. There was no bellhop so assist with luggage which was disappointing and the parking garage was a longer walk from the hotel which made carrying our belongings a little exhausting. On our way up to our room we had a moment where we stuck in the elevator for over a minute when it stopped on one of the floors which was a bit alarming. Overall nice stay in NYC but not the best. Definitely room for improvement. But it is clean and the view is beautiful.

Another nice stay here at the Archer. There could be another trash can added to the room (the only one was in the bathroom). Also, the lighting isn’t great in the rooms we have stayed in. Not a deal breaker, though. Great hotel location!

Amazing place. Excellent location, convenient to all the activities midtown has to offer. Just 2 blocks from Bryant Park and subway access. Comfy, cozy bed, smart tv in room, Nespresso machine, awesome towels, modern and functional bathroom. And, despite being in the center of the city, the rooms are SILENT. No road/street noise whatsoever. Can't wait to stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Archer. The staff was very courteous and helpful: Noticing that I had my hands full, the duty manager rushed over to call the elevator for me; when it started to rain, the staff offered us umbrellas; during breakfast, the wait staff was polite and efficient. Overall experience was 5/5. I will pick the same hotel next time I visit NYC.

Great location and amenities. Staff were lovely generally except the person who checked us in. Unfortunately, our first impression of the hotel was tainted by how condescending he was! We booked a room that was apparently for three adults but it was much too small. The beds were small doubles, there was a single wardrobe with not nearly enough room to put our clothes. We were booked for a week. We had to use the draws under the beds to put our things in which wasn’t great. The room was set up for two adults, not three and when I spoke to the manager about this his only solution was that I book another single room for the discounted price of $2700! Apart from that, we had a fabulous time!

The water in the shower was only lukewarm when bathing in the evening time. However, when I left a valuable item in the room, they responded quickly and with great care. They shipped it back to me, wrapped beautifully, with a note. This is everything.

The hotel staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The room was great, very clean. The hotel is in an excellent location. My only negative was a particular staff member at the Spyglass rooftop bar. Bartender and one of the female servers was great, very nice she kept checking on us as if to make up for the other one's behavior. The other had an attitude with most people. She basically threw the menus at us,never said one word. We seated ourselves since no one seated us it was first come first serve and very crowded, most people struggled to find a seat even though we had a reservation. We grabbed a table once another party left as we had seen others do. Server said nothing just glared at us and everyone else pretty much. Not someone who should be working in customer service in my opinion. As we were leaving her phony fake glare/ smile was unnerving. It's really a shame as the view was wonderous and everyone else was so nice including the other guests.

This was a lovely boutique hotel in Mid-City Manhattan blocks from Times Square. 38th is pretty quiet in this area and Culture Espresso (amazing cookies!) is across the Street. We enjoyed the hotel and found it to be accessibl and convenient.

I recently spent five days and four nights Archer Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! From start to finish, everything about my stay was exceptional. My room had a cozy yet upscale vibe, and I loved the little touches that showed how much care went into the design. The on-site restaurant and bar were equally impressive. The food was delicious, with a menu that offered something for every palate, and the cocktails at the bar were expertly crafted. We thought the staff was professional, and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! The location of the room was very convenient. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful. However, we were given conflicting times and weren’t able to eat there. We did eat breakfast in the lobby and it was delicious.
