The Wash, Shampoo & Conditioner smells bad, I would expect more for 4 stars hotel with that price.

The room was lovely and very comfortable. Nice bath products and good water pressure. The staff was terrific and we were delighted by the treat left in the room at the end of each day - the caramels were amazing!! The view from the rooftop was incredible & the location was convenient. We’d definitely stay at the Archer again.

Room is on the smaller side but it is very nice and clean. Will get the job done, especially staying in Midtown Manhattan. Great spot to eat up on the roof with great views. Friendly staff

This place touts itself as a boutique hotel. I do not agree. Not for what they are charging per accommodation. Maybe on the lower end of the scale of those in the boutique hotel arena. It’s average and the professional property photos don’t reflect the vibe of the hotel whatsoever. It’s absolutely misleading with the exposed brick. From the decor to the amenities… it’s just ok. Not bad, not amazing. Honestly you could stay in any of the other local hotels for hundreds less and it would be the exact same experience. Despite what you may have read, while the hotel has a restaurant, they do not offer room service which is super odd and inconvenient for what the rooms cost. I paid extra for a city view for my daughter’s birthday, and the windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. Additionally, our bathroom sink leaked the entire time we were there. We’re talking leaking so bad there was water from the sink onto the floor. There was no way housekeeping didn’t notice. We reported it. Lastly, the beds are unbelievably lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows are so flat, even if when doubled up you were still laying flat. As a NYer, I probably won’t return. There are so many better choices that provide a more elevated boutique experience.

Very friendly staff. Great lobby area, free water and coffee. Rooms very small, had to remind staff to refill coffee items.
