So close to town yet it feels private and remote. The views are stunning from the second story rooms but the stairs aren’t great for those with walking difficulties or disabilities. Even the office and breakfast areas were not very accessible, so that is something to keep in mind. The rooms were amazing and we will definitely stay again!

the breakfast offerings were quite substantial and it was nice to have options with the kitchenette to use the stove top etc. Bathroom space was generous as were the binoculars ! walking down to the beach required a ladder but was safe and there were some gorgeous walking paths just up from the property that skirted the rocks and ocean.

Quaint, older motel with awesome views, but if you are seeking a good night’s sleep, hard pass. Older construction makes conversations next door or up stairs easy to hear. Road noise from HWY 101 drowns out the ocean waves. Ambient light floods the room after dark, even with the blackout blinds pulled, and the green blinking light from the smoke detector, well, that’s a special feature. On the positive side, easy walk to Depoe Bay businesses and restaurants. Beautiful private beach, large rooms, and simple breakfast included. Note: steep ladder/steps to the private beach is not for the frail, young children, or those bothered by heights. It is worth the climb.

Pros: great view of bay and whales, easy access to room on ground floor for disabled room. Office man was very accommodating ( for my husband as I could not check in). Shower chairs available for disabled. Cons: bathroom floor filthy. Very old building and rooms ( desperately need new trim on floors and doorways). No screens on sliding door. Beds hard and wood on edges hard on shins. They charge too much when you can get an upscale modern rental for the same price and cleaner! As for ADA, you can’t even get up to the office no ramp anywhere!! Common folks! You can do better!!

I had an excellent stay and the new property managers are amazing. They are a complete upgrade from the last one who ran this Inn. If you are looking for a nice in-between hotel on the OR coast this is it. The private beach was also amazing! Only critique is the parking situation can be a bit dicey due to the close proximity of each parking space and the amount of spaces.

We loved the ocean view from our room, plus being able to walk out onto the grass and sit in the comfy adorondyke chairs to watch the waves and whales. The little private beach cove was an added joy. We spent a long time enjoying the quiet beauty and even 3 sea lions! Beds were comfy!

It was noticeable that the room has been updated. Room seemed very clean. Carpets could have used a cleaning. Continental breakfast was good. Loved the fact that we were a 5 minute walk to dining, shops, whale watching etc. We recommend this place.

Very friendly staff. Excellent location with beautiful views of bay. Can see whales from your window or back lawn. It's an older inn, so the bathroom is dated but the room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Walking distance to dining options along the bay. Would definitely stay again!

Do not stay here! The carpeting was black dirty. I took a shower put on a clean pair of socks when I took them off an hour later the bottom were all sticky and gross. I believe they were spraying the carpet with something trying to hide dog odors. The bathroom walls had duct tape a foot high off the floor around the shower area. furnishings were so so the beds were hard. This was my most expensive on a five day coastal trip and was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Terrible!!!!

We have stayed at the Inn several times and I think this is the first negative/mediocre review I have given. Great location in Depoe Bay near Tidal Waves Restaurant and whale watching. Beautiful view of the water and coastline. This time we were unprepared to have an upstairs room. (Always on the ground floor before and the picture of the room when we made reservation showed ground floor.) We are older and do not do well with stairs. Also there was no bath mat (even when asked) and the tub was very slippery when taking a shower. (Luckily someone in housekeeping, Rikki, brought us a couple decals for the bottom of the tub and it did help.) The shower/tub was deep and had no grab bars. Finally, the room was on the end of the building closest to the highway and it was very, very noisy. In the past we enjoyed the sounds of the water and even heard a whale blow hole. This time it was trucks, cars, motorcycle noise going all day and well into the night.

Very clean but also very outdated, had a nice sitting area to look out to the ocean but the most uncomfortable easy chairs ever. Was nice and quiet and okay for our needs as we were visiting family at their place.

The service is always great and the view is wonderful. (Try to make it to breakfast in time for the bald-headed eagles!) Cleanliness is very good. There were a couple maintenance items that needed attention in our room and we wish a few rooms had king size beds.

If you love a great ocean view and the sound of the waves with the windows open and a some comfy chairs to sit at some panoramic windows taking in the views and sounds plus a pair of binoculars to watch eagles and whales- BOOK A ROOM at this well run, intimate, reasonably priced inn! did I mention the great included breakfast? Polly and her husband are running a great and customer friendly inn- we will return!!

This place is a shining star on the Oregon Coast. Polly and her staff went way above and beyond during our stay. I let the know I was proposing the next day and they came in while we were out, decorated with roses, towel swans on the bed, a beautiful bouquet, iced wine bucket, and heartfelt card for my fiancé. They did all of this with no extra expectations. True kindness in their hearts!!! The place has million dollar views and balconies like being on a cruise ship. The breakfast (included) is way over the top with amazing choices. I guess you could say we liked our stay? Lol, yeah highly recommended!!! Ty everyone there!!! ;)

We will return. Perfect for wife and I for a quick getaway weekend. An opportunity to silence everyday life. We stayed in room 10, the "panoramic view" room. It was perfect. Views are breathtaking. Staff got us checked in about an hour early. Breakfast was pretty good for a smaller "continental" breakfast. We love that we could sleep with the window open and hear the waves crashing up against the cliffs. The property and building shows its age, lots of little touch-ups that could be done to hide its age, but overall, very cute, very quiet, perfect place to stay in Depot Bay. WE WILL BE BACK!

Love love love! Short stay before fishing but view was magnificent, room was so comfortable, pillows were some of the best I’ve ever slept on, towels were luxurious, parking was easy peasy, and because we weren’t going to be around for breakfast, staff so thoughtfully gave us a scrumptious bag of goodies and juice the night before.

Amazing location. We were an hour early for check in and the front desk gentleman was extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed in Room 8 and as soon as we walked in, the view was like a dream. Gorgeous overlook of Depoe Bay. The room had anything we needed, a small kitchen, binoculars, and a comfy bed. Perfect spot for walking to the main shops or a peaceful overlook. The complimentary breakfast was perfect before heading out to whale watch.

The Inn at Arch Rock was a perfect place to stay in Depoe Bay. Our large room had all the comforts of home including Dish Network, a gas fireplace, specially-blended coffee, comfortable beds, and a sitting area. Outside the sliding glass door, we enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on a grassy spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean, rock outcrops, and the Depoe Bay coastline. Gorgeous!! We will return!

The owners take pride in their property and great service - that is clear. The breakfast couldnt be beat! Best biscuits and homemade gravy I've had anywhere plus many other options including a beautiful tasty fruit bowl each morning. The room was a perfect size and the view from our room and dining area couldn't be better. Thank you Nate and Polly!! We will be back.

Check in was fast and easy, as I had a reservation. The room however was like walking into your grandma’s spare bedroom. Nothing like the pictures on the listing. It was clean, just old. The outside of the entire motel was exactly like the pictures, only moldy. The only true to life pictures are of the bay and the ocean. And this room cost 3 times more than any of the other rooms I booked for my Oregon coast trip. Mostly disappointed.

We were in room 15. Loved the view from our room. We moved the bed in front of the window and it was perfect. Breakfast could have been a little better. The fresh refill of scrambled eggs came super cold and had to wait quite a while for the biscuts. But other then them needing to stay better on top of breakfast.. everything else was perfect!
