Ett helt underbart hotell, centralt beläget vid Sao Bento-stationen. Mycket välkomnande, engagerande och hjälpsam personal. Litet, men väl fungerande rum med sittplats för två. Mycket god och riklig frukost. Gratis kaffe och kaka fanns att hämta, dessutom en gratis flaska vin på rummet. Mycket charmig inredning i de allmänna utrymmena och dessutom en Honesty Bar där du själv hämtade vin, öl eller vatten och skrev upp ditt rumsnummer. Ovanlig planlösning med mycket trappor men även det charmigt. Rekommenderas!

We had two different rooms. Best one was 202. Ceiling amazing artwork. Roomy. Bathroom large. The house is very old bit wonder have refurbished. Could use some new paint here and there but staff amazing and little touches like fresh water at reception always available and snacks in breakfast room available all day is a nice homey touch. Coffee from cappuccino machine a bonus. Location fantastic.

Small boutique hotel, with great location.walking distance to all major attractions. It is an old property converted to a hotel, room was very spacious, bathroom was in the small size, but it workout well. Breakfast was delicious. Parking is across the street, for 30 euros a day.

The hotel is an old building but the rooms are very nice. Ours was pretty small with a balcony but perfect for our needs. Very close to sao bento train station and everything else is in walking distance. Some people complain about the lift not working but just remember to close the door completely when you step out and everything will be fine.

Lovely hotel in great location for exploring Porto. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast. The only negative is that there are a lot of steep staircases to get to the rooms

Amazing staff. Had a very nice and comfortable stay. The breakfast and after-hours dessert/24hour espresso machine are excellent amenities offered by the hotel. We loved the location and its proximity to tourist attractions and food options. Highly recommend this place. The only thing to keep in mind is that depending on the room, you may have to deal with some flights of stairs.

Fabulous location! The staff are wonderful and the breakfast had a great selection. Our room was at the far back of the hotel, walking through the courtyard and up the stairs. But honestly it was more of an adventure and no problem as I walk with a cane. Don't forget to try the herbal teas - they are delicious and their gown on the hoteliers farm.

Great location near all the things you came to see. Very accessible. Staff was always so lovely. Room was super clean and we loved the balcony windows where we could sit and watch the street below. Only minor issue was that as a converted house(??) there’s one room per floor and, on the first level, our bedroom door opened onto the common staircase so people going up and down early or late, or the front door to the street slamming shut, were loud and disruptive to sleep. The street noises were not bad because modern windows were quite sound proof. Also the pillows could be newer/better. Otherwise, breakfast was superb, staff was lovely, and the hotel was safe and clean and comfortable.

Still, I was woken up by seagulls every day around 5:30am, whose cries penetrate the closed windows. The bathroom also tends to stink (of sewer) every morning, coming either from the shower drain or the toilet. The bed & room are good otherwise -- and the breakfast was great.

Great stay, staff couldn’t do enough. Hotel had the perfect location, 5 min walk to river, 5 min into main town. Breakfast was excellent, rooms clean, comfortable and quiet, particularly fond of the shower. Overall great experience for myself and my three friends

This is my 3rd stay at this bed/breakfast chain and this was my favorite location. Our room overlooked Rua Flores and we were right in the middle of the action! Our room was super clean and spacious with Romeo/Juliey doors overlooking the popular pedestrian street- Rua Flores. Tall ceilings with lovely plaster decor to admire. I will definitely come back to this location on my next trip’

Great place to stay. The bedroom was huge 3 queen beds and 2 full bathrooms. The decorations and the details on the ceilings gave us the impression that we were staying in a bedroom of a palace. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was WOW!! I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Casa dos Lóios was in a great location in historic Porto. Close to restaurants, shops, and the bridge to cross the river, it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We booked the Standard Double Room with Balcony. The room itself wasn't that spacious, but the terrace and the view were incredible and worth having a smaller room. (The elevator only goes up to the 4th floor and our room was on the 5th, so we did have to climb one flight of stairs. Not an issue for us, but could be for others.) We enjoyed eating breakfast in the outdoor courtyard each morning. Staff at check-in and at breakfast were very welcoming and kind throughout our stay.

This hotel is right on a very popular pedestrian only street (but on a corner where a taxi can park). Very charming with restaurants and shops. Close walk to the river. Excellent location. It is also in an historic building from the 16 or 17 century. Lots of charm. The staff is one of the most helpful I have had. They booked as airport transport both ways, they were very kind and helpful at all times, and when we had to leave before breakfast to get our flight, they made us a to go box of food without us even asking.

We loved everything about this hotel. The location is top notch. As is the comfy beds and splendid breakfast. The complimentary wine, chocolates and little slippers were such nice little touches. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful

We were greeted upon arrival by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were able to store our luggage since we arrived prior to check in. The staff assisted us in making reservations for Port Wine tasting and transportation. They went above and beyond to assist us in anyway they could. The breakfast was amazing. We were greeted upon arrival by friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were able to store our luggage since we arrived prior to check in. The staff assisted us in making reservations for Port Wine tasting and transportation. They went above and beyond to assist us in anyway they could. The breakfast was amazing. This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My husband has knees problems, and the elevator only went up to the second floor. They had our room on the third floor. The moved us to the second floor. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious overlooking Rua das Flores. When the doors were closed that overlooked the street it was very quiet. Bed was extremely comfortable and towels nice. Hardwood floors which we prefer, cleaner. Ceiling above the bed was decorative.There was a demi bottle of wine to share in the room. They made us a packed breakfast for the airport the following day. Lovely 10/10!

We really liked Casa dos Lóios by Shiadu. The location is fantastic, with many restaurants, cafes, & shops outside the front door. The hotel itself was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable rooms with en suite bathroom w/shower. At breakfast, a generous and delicious full hot breakfast was included in our room rate. The kitchen staff were lovely, offering eggs your style daily. Management is visible and friendly. Helpful with restaurant choices. Also made umbrellas available at the front door. This hotel was a top stay for us. It was located right in the middle of everything so you could explore the city and restaurants with ease. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly and kind staff who talked us through the amenities and walked us to our room. The Breakfast in the mornings were delightful and delicious. Excellent location that’s 4 min walk to Metro and Sao Bento station. Excellent staff. Easy to checkin. Needed to use GPS map to find this address, where the front door is fairly small and not easy to recognize. Good complimentary breakfast. Many restaurants and cafe nearby. This was the perfect location for our first visit to Porto! Its location is so close to the train Porto Sao Bento, the waterfront and an easy walk to the other side. We had plenty of restaurants to choose from and everything seemed like a 10 min walk. It was in the middle of everything, but you wouldn’t know it once you went inside. The hotel was decorated so nicely and very clean. The staff were so helpful and very friendly. The breakfast each morning was fantastic! We found the little courtyard to be perfect for a glass of wine before we headed to dinner. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great central location convenient to train and metro station. Interesting building history and architecture, and great staff and breakfast room. Only downside was our room was above the reception and overlooked the busy and popular pedestrian street, so noise was noticeable until nearly midnight, then started early with interior noise from other guests in reception and stairwell. Overall we would still recommend this small hotel, as it was a great location in the city and we enjoyed our stay in Porto.

We travelled to Porto by train from Lisbon- very convenient for train- few mins flat walk away. Central for eating, drinks and shops- short walk downhill to riverfront. Reception staff very helpful and a lovely terrace and breakfast room that served a very good varied breakfast

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Always smiled, and asked about our day. The breakfast buffet was incredible- best myself and my husband have had! Great location. 4 minute walk from the train station. Our room had charm and a wonderful view of the clock tower. Would definitely stay again.

The place is near “everything”. The staff is very friendly, especially Maria Luiza from reception, she is simply an angel. Breakfast, what can I say? Unique; a variety of fruit, vegetables, breads, cheeses, coffee, teas…I mean, you eat and you have it all to walk the city two times over. For my family and I, it’s a repeat, definitely.

Amazing front desk staff and very nice lady at the breakfast. Overall a great experience. Breakfast was amazing. Everything was fresh even the juices were freshly squeezed. You can also ask for Freshly made omlette or scrambled eggs. However you like. They have pastries and your latte available all day long. Hope we get to come here soon some day in future. Thanks

Fabulous location! The staff are wonderful and the breakfast had a great selection. Our room was at the far back of the hotel, walking through the courtyard and up the stairs. But honestly it was more of an adventure and no problem as I walk with a cane. Don't forget to try the herbal teas - they are delicious and their gown on the hoteliers farm.

The staff was excellent. A good breakfast every morning. Free espresso and muffins available all day. It’s in a lovely old building, with older objects on display: old typewriters, old suitcases. Fun. There are two buildings so it is a bit of a maze getting to the second building, but not really an issue. I enjoyed the stay immensely.

Really well located only 3 mins walk from underground and railway. Room was spacious and quiet considering it was above a busy thoroughfare. Breakfast was very good. Room safe was not working despite pointing this out. Also the air conditioning made very loud rattling in the night that woke us up. Narrow stairs and passages you would expect in an old building.All on all good value for 💰
