A very pleasant stay, the hotel was a bit dated and the room had a dry water patch there wasn'ta tv ( which doesn't worry me but may do for some)there was a room safe.... , stairs for some could be a bit tricky..( a spiral type) . This hotel was great! I really enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are clean, and sheets seemed to be new and fresh. Affordable and nice! Overall i don’t have any complaints except that the hotel is missing an elevator. But the spacious terrace watching the sea makes up for it! I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sultan Ahmet and the Blue Mosque!

Room was great, breakfast is good and service without flaw but you really want to go there for the location and rooftop terrace. 3 minutes of walking from Sultanahmet and lot of restaurants. View from the rooftop is stunning and it is great to watch sunset from there. Also plenty of cute cats all around.

Location is great and the rooftop is very nice with a view overlooking the Sea of Marmara. Perfect for having breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. The biggest issues were the WiFi and the A/C working rather intermittently. Sound insulation isn't the best. However all in all a decent hotel considering the price.

L'hôtel est très sympa, avec une déco tendance et une atmosphère assez cocooning. Le personnel était à l'écoute et aimable. L'hôtel est très bien situé. A 5mn à pied de la Mosquée bleu, tout en étant au calme... Le petit déjeuner est copieux, avec des gâteaux faits maison. Le seul bémol est que parfois la dame de ménage ne faisait pas les chambres.

Great hotel, very quiet area, which was great as Istanbul is completely bonkers with traffic’s noise and people. Only complaint was the room smelt very damp and this transferred itself to our clothing. Apart from the dampness it’s a cracking place to stay.

I arrived very late & was given a room on the top floor. There are no elevators so I had to ask reception to help with my carryon which they gladly helped. The room is a nice size with old furnitures. The ceiling light was not bright so I needed to plug the bedside ones as well. Bathroom is a bit moldy and the towels some are stained. The bathmat’s ends are frail already and should be retired. Bed you can tell is also need replacing as it is lopsided. One thing I do like is the free breakfast & location.

Disappointing Experience – Do Not Recommend I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was in terrible condition — dirty, neglected, and nothing like the photos. The bedding, which should have been white, was a worn-out yellow, and the curtains were ripped. The entire room felt more like a prison cell than a place to relax. I left immediately and chose not to stay even one night. Unfortunately, because I booked through Expedia as a non-refundable reservation, I wasn’t able to get a refund — but I would strongly advise others to stay away from this hotel. It was not worth the money or the stress.

Lets start from the entrance and it was the most warmest and coziest lobby in whole istanbul, period. I will explain the pro and growth opportunities below: pro: 1. View from the room, 2. Distance to All the locations 3. Staffs are friendly, still remember Mesut, Kareem and other amazing people and their service [they give good recommendations, just ask] 4. Great breakfast, 5. Clean room and perfect temperature! Growth opportunity: 1. Bathrooms are very cramped, 2. Stairs are very narrow. 3. High end rooms are smaller than expected! Overall, I will choose Rumours Inn at any day over any other places in Istanbul

Not usually someone who write reviews, but Rumours deserves it! Great location for Sultanahmet sights, nice spacious room (we had a triple), fantastic Turkish breakfast, and staff that went above and beyond to help when my bag was late arriving after it was left behind by my airline. Would whole-heartedly recommend! I do a lot of research when booking accommodations so I hope this can help others coming to Istanbul!

Highly recommend this hotel! The staff was so friendly and kind, they helped us find transportation from the door to the airport and there is a laundry service as well. They had plenty of recommendations for how to spend your time in turkey and also handed out free water at the door.

This is a budget hotel in a back street area. That said it is perfect for exploring Istanbul 5mins walk to the Blue Mosque. The roof terrace has spectacular views and great to relax on after a hard day being a tourist. The rooms are basic but clean. Feels a bit like a hostel but how much time are you gonna spend there in this fabulous city. It dose feel a bit odd as the streets around it seem a bit run down and it’s not easy to find. But I would really recommend this as a great base to explore Istanbul and sleep.

Rigtig sødt personale. Dejligt med gratis vand til selvhentning i receptionen. Meget lille værelse (dobbelt med balkon). Hotellet er noget slidt. Beliggenheden i forhold til den blå moske og Hagia Sofia er ideel. Indenfor 500 m er der et stort udvalg af restauranter.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Lovely room- we had a standard double. Clean, great breaiabd friendly staff. No negative points at all. Very near all the attractions and reasonably priced restaurants on the doorstep. We particularly liked the Pasta and pizza place-Ozi's. Lovely root top terrace to relax on too.

Hotel fica muito bem localizado, não é um local muito bonito mas bastante funcional. Recepção atenciosos e educados, pessoal do café da manhã cortezes. Café da manhã estranho para os padrões brasileiros (comida bastante diferente do nosso), porem tudo muito gostoso (servem pepino, tomate, queijos, pães). Não é um ótimo, mas muito bom (condizente com o valor da hospedagem)
