Fabulous hotel in new Cairo! The grounds of the hotel are very secure with security staff onsite doing regular checks so we felt very safe. The staff were delightful and would go out of their way to ensure we had anything we needed especially the navigators who booked our Nile dinner cruise and sorted all travel etc. The pool is amazing and even though there was construction underway during our visit there was minimal noise or disruption. The breakfast was incredible with a wide array of buffet options which also included hotel chefs doing on request omelettes, pancakes and other dishes cooked theatre style - excellent service. We were in the 6th floor which included the club lounge which again is an excellent service offering soft drinks for free throughout the day and happy hour alcoholic drinks and food each evening. The food in the Vintage Lounge was tasty and again the staff were attentive, helpful and cheery. The entire hotel is spotless and we could not rate the service any higher. Five stars!! It is a good distance away from the main sights in Cairo - the Pyramids, Nile etc so requires a long drive (traffic in Cairo is crazy and the driving is like fast and furious!) but it is worth it to stay at this hotel which is very near the airport and offers free transportation. In fact when we arrived the regular shuttle wasn’t running at the exact time and the hotel sorted us a car. Thank you to all the Renaissance Mirage team!

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with huge variety of options. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. I wouldn’t have seen the best of Cairo without the help of their amazing navigator Abdo. A super organized staff, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Hisham the concierge, yousef mariam & abanob in housekeeping, georgus and all the minas and chefs at the outside pool, mostafa the towel worker, and mariam at the reception bar. The hotel is very clean and comes with everything you need. Super safe and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.

The only great thing about this hotel was the staff and the service, otherwise for a Renaissance, the property is kinda of run down and not up to the standard of other like hotels. For the price, I felt we overpaid. But overall quiet, safe area. Walls are thin, 3 nights in a row, the alarm in the room next door went off at 4 am and kept going until 5:30 am. Staff couldn’t do anything about it.

This hotel is a dream. Very attentive staff, nice rooms and great pool area. We also liked the Chinese restaurant ! Around the hotel is absolutely nothing interesting, but it is close to the airport and if all you want is to relax at the pool, get some tan and eat nice food, maybe work out a little and take a day trip to the pyramids before returning home, this is exactly what you’re looking for. Quite close to the airport also (but you won’t hear planes!)

Bra ljudisolerade rum. Var bröllopsfirande nästan varje dag där, men hördes inget upp till rummet. Serviceinriktad personal, Dock lite tjatig kring sin rating, detta är något man ska göra själv och inte på anmodan :). Bästa frukosten vi upplevt på hotell med bra variation och utmärkt service!. Hotellet ligger "lite off", så rekomenderar att ta med frukosten.. Fint poolområde, bättre än på bild! Wifi fungerade bra, kunde dock försvinna ibland vid poolområdet. ATM finns på plats.

Due to a maintenance problem, I was offered to change rooms. The hotel was proactive and offered compensation for the inconvenience, which was much appreciated. The staff is constantly asking if everything is satisfactory, which gives the guest the opportunity to bring something to their attention and for the hotel to rectify it, if necessary.

I just stayed here for a few hours during a layover and loved this place so much! It was comfy, they had excellent customer service and was easy to get to. The only cons were I didn’t realize the shuttle for airport pickup had to be arranged days in advance- so I caught a taxi. Also the water in the room wasn’t very hot - I let them know this during checkout and they said they’d take it up with management. The only other thing is I believe you have to call to reserve your pet before hand and it is almost impossible to get through when you are calling from abroad.

It was a family vacation in Cairo . My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Mirage. The morning breakfast was hot, fresh & delicious . Rooms were super clean & the service was very good. Would definitely recommend if you go as a family.

I really enjoyed my stay here and the hotel staff were extremely helpful with helping organise my stay and trips outside the hotel. There is a Chinese and Mediterranean restaurant both of which were excellent.
