The owners were lovely, so positive and helpful. We had a great visit. The kids loved the pool, the playground area and the basketball hoop. If I had one wish for the outdoor space it would be scattered benches with backs. The cottages were cute, if a little outdated. Would stay there again.

We cycled to the motel so were unable to bring our own food. The motel is a few miles from the nearest restaurant - too far to cycle for a meal out. The manager kindly offered to buy food for us which was there on our arrival. We grilled the sausages on the gas grill. There were tables and chairs next to the grill and undercover. We later sat around a fire. The wood was provided free of charge. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Nice place for a weekend stay, close to trails and shopping. Feels like a campground of cabins, i like the community fire pit and the large area of flat mowed grass out back, great spot for dogs to potty and stretch their legs.

Great place for our family of 5 to stay. Kids loved the playground and pool. Beautiful views. Loved having access to lobby area for eating meals on rainy days. Very friendly staff. Bathroom could have used some fixes. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again!

We had a fun time staying in the cabin. The views are amazing and the staff is very nice. We took advantage of the pool and the firepit.

It was a place to rest our heads. The beds were clean and so were the toilets, unfortunately the shower had seen better days. The pool also had green algae and it was is desperate need of being skimmed to get the dead bugs out. Play scape is meant for small children, those 3 and under. The carpets in the cabin could stand to be replaced and the couch that was supposed to pull out to sleep another guest was missing a piece to the back and was not level to sit on. The view of the mountain was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately we probably will not stay again.

Surprisingly good. $50 less than Cabot Inn for family of 3. Nice outdoor atmosphere with families grilling and kids playing in playground. Continental (not hot) breakfast. Stayed 1 night then santas village.

The property is obviously somewhat dated, but I think it adds the the charm. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the location was great, we felt safe, and it was perfect for a night’s sleep before a big hike. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

The management was pleasant. Carpets very dirty….no good lighting. Power went off as a person next door was running their hair dryer. The place was “adequate” for a one night stay, but would not return out of choice. Again, they were very pleasant at the front desk.

Easy check in. The room was clean but a bit odd. No bed spread on the bed, very poor wi-fi, TV was tricky to turn on and it took a long time to get hot water for a shower. However, there was an extra blanket, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were great. The property is so cute and well maintained and you can't beat the price.

Dirty room, in severe need of updating and painting, disgusting bathroom, shower floor painted over filth, initially the air conditioner did not work but after complaint, she did get it started Plenty of unfriendly attitude in the front desk girl. Miniature breakfast items, all sugar kids cereals and Walmart oatmeal, office closes much of the day, limited service. Noisy trucks all day. Owner was nice but needs to fix up the place. NOT recommended.

This was like home away from home. The room had many windows, very clean and the hotel itself was very welcoming. The best breakfast. I would highly recommend as it was perfect and not to mention centrally located, lots of places to ear nearby.

Cute rustic property with rooms and cabins. We got a cabin and had a full kitchen as well as a comfortable queen bed and bunk beds. Cabin was well maintained and the property would be great for families with children. Owner works the front desk and was great about telling us where to eat and things to do in the area.

A lovely little cabin! The WiFi went out the first night and never came back, and you definitely need to use that space heater, but other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Mind you, it’s not going to be the Hilton (unit was not sparkling clean, but hey, it’s a motel in the middle of the mountains, and it definitely wasn’t filthy either), but knowing to expect that, we had a very pleasant stay with an 8yo and an infant. Kitchenette in unit as well as grills on property. Nice for kids as there’s a playground and small pool (pool was not so clean, but it was also too cold to swim so that could have been the reason). There’s also wifi available since cell service tends to be spotty in the White Mountains. However the view is INCREDIBLE. The area is so quiet and the air extremely fresh. It’s quite an experience, as someone from the suburbs, to wake up and see the mountains right in front of you with their peaks in the clouds. 20ish minutes from Mt Washington and Storyland so definitely recommend this spot to crash for a night or three during a White Mountains trip.

Needs some upgrades on the facilities and mattresses. Mattresses are very dished with a nice pillow topper, but two people in the bed get smooshed in the middle. The little cabins look great and windows are. Recently replaced, but the structor is rough - rustic. Great place for pets and kids with lots of room to walk around on grass and a nice playground. Little bit of a drive for dining/shopping options.

Staff were so great and helpful! My husband ended up needing Tums and they didn’t have any for sale in the office so the staff gave us some they had purchased for themselves! Great parking for hiking mt Washington. Will def be back and will recommend to others.

Older property but well maintained. The owner Dewald was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Also very receptive to any issues with stay. Grounds are very nice with trails behind hotel. It lives up to its name with the beautiful views of Mt. Jefferson. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

We’ve come back to this hotel because the people are incredibly nice, accommodating and the place is in perfect proximity to the hiking that we are there to do. It’s convenient, clean and comfortable. It’s not the Biltmore, but that’s not what we want. It met our needs and we will return again!
We’ve come back to this hotel because the people are incredibly nice, accommodating and the place is in perfect proximity to the hiking that we are there to do. It’s convenient, clean and comfortable. It’s not the Biltmore, but that’s not what we want. It met our needs and we will return again!

Dirty room, in severe need of updating and painting, disgusting bathroom, shower floor painted over filth, initially the air conditioner did not work but after complaint, she did get it started Plenty of unfriendly attitude in the front desk girl. Miniature breakfast items, all sugar kids cereals and Walmart oatmeal, office closes much of the day, limited service. Noisy trucks all day. Owner was nice but needs to fix up the place. NOT recommended.

I've been staying at the Mount Jefferson View Motel for the past few years with a group of friends for an annual hike in the white mountains. The motel is conveniently located very close to the trail head. The shower was hot, beds/mattresses comfortable and general facilities clean. The hosts are very nice and friendly.

Older property but well maintained. The owner Dewald was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Also very receptive to any issues with stay. Grounds are very nice with trails behind hotel. It lives up to its name with the beautiful views of Mt. Jefferson. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

Stayed in the motel with a 2 room accommodation. Very clean. The air conditioner in the main bedroom not work, only the fan. Also no side table at all. Had to keep my glass of water on the floor. Grateful for a relaxing stay! We stood two nights at the cozy single cabin perfect for 4. The purpose of the trip is to go to Santa’s village. Conveniently about 15 minutes away. The Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Definitely will be back again next year!

My wife and I were only there for 2 nights but we really enjoyed cabin 28. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, they provided dishes and utensils if you wished to cook (we did not use them). Plenty of channels on the TV...there are 2 remotes, one is used to turn up the volumn. The grounds looked neatly taken care of. We didnt' have breakfast however we stopped in before checkout and grabbed some coffee. They had granola bars, cereal, fruit, and juices. They may have had more but didn't really look. Its about 10 minutes to Gorham for restaurants. Breakfast at the Water Wheel is about 3 minutes away. I would recommend staying here.

We cycled to the motel so were unable to bring our own food. The motel is a few miles from the nearest restaurant - too far to cycle for a meal out. The manager kindly offered to buy food for us which was there on our arrival. We grilled the sausages on the gas grill. There were tables and chairs next to the grill and undercover. We later sat around a fire. The wood was provided free of charge. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Cute rustic property with rooms and cabins. We got a cabin and had a full kitchen as well as a comfortable queen bed and bunk beds. Cabin was well maintained and the property would be great for families with children. Owner works the front desk and was great about telling us where to eat and things to do in the area.

Mind you, it’s not going to be the Hilton (unit was not sparkling clean, but hey, it’s a motel in the middle of the mountains, and it definitely wasn’t filthy either), but knowing to expect that, we had a very pleasant stay with an 8yo and an infant. Kitchenette in unit as well as grills on property. Nice for kids as there’s a playground and small pool (pool was not so clean, but it was also too cold to swim so that could have been the reason). There’s also wifi available since cell service tends to be spotty in the White Mountains. However the view is INCREDIBLE. The area is so quiet and the air extremely fresh. It’s quite an experience, as someone from the suburbs, to wake up and see the mountains right in front of you with their peaks in the clouds. 20ish minutes from Mt Washington and Storyland so definitely recommend this spot to crash for a night or three during a White Mountains trip.

This was like home away from home. The room had many windows, very clean and the hotel itself was very welcoming. The best breakfast. I would highly recommend as it was perfect and not to mention centrally located, lots of places to ear nearby.

We really loved everything about this place. The cabin was adorable and the perfect size for our family. The front yard space is huge and lots of room for kids to safely run around and play. It’s a family who owns it, they’re so so nice!! We will be recommending this to our friends and hope to come back again soon. Also! Super close to Santa village. Maybe 10 minutes!
