Hampton Inn & Suites Lansing West

Enjoyed the salt water pool and hot tub, but the towels were very small so many people used multiples so they would often be unavailable and would have to contact staff for more. Beds were comfy. Room was nice til you really looked, furniture is warn and needing replaced. Do like that the location is near Horrock and that was nice to walk to rather than the need to drive.

They upcharged us on the room rate. Then blindsided me with a $50 insurance fee. The entire first floor stunk. There was corrosion build up in the pool entrance. My children wouldnt even swim in the pool because it was freezing cold. Were going to let them get in the hot tub until we noticed all the nasty skin particles and hair floating in it. The room was quiet and beds were comfortable and that would be the only positive from our stay.

Had to wait for someone to show up and check us in. Pool and hot tub were out of service. Didn't find that out until after we booked the room. Complimentary coffee was good and the breakfast was filling.

Check in was quick, very friendly and helpful staff member. The pool was warm. Both hot tub and pool were clean. Room was clean , comfortable beds. Had a great stay.

This is a very nice hotel, our second time staying there! Only issue was 1 elevator wasn't working when we stayed so it took a little bit to get anywhere as the hotel was full! Otherwise it was great!

Nice property with great staff. Some of the furniture is starting to show its wear and age. Also, the pool was out of order for repairs, but I still recommend for a short/overnight stay.

아침 식사도 깔끔해서 좋았어요. 살짝 아쉬운건 청소를 요청해야 해줬다는 점. 그리고 수영장, 세탁실이 이용기간동안 공사중이라는 점이 아쉬웠어요. 나머진 다 좋았고 다음에 또 이용하고 싶네요.

The room had some blemishes and one elevator didnt work other than that it was fine.

Bathroom was dirty, with black mould around tub and thick dust on baseboards. Fire doors on floors 2,3 and 4 were all proper wide open. There was no decaf coffee, there was tea but no milk at the coffee station. The bathroom sink tap was not working properly nor was remote for tv. All in all, very disappointing for a Hampton Inn. Please checkout the fire doors. P

We’ve stayed at this place a few times and it was ok. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it was good enough for a night or 2. NOT THIS TIME. It was dirty and the furniture was worn. Fridge had greasy fingerprints on it and there was dust on the top. Bedside lamp shade was trashed and the ottoman at the foot of the bed was gross. Bathroom shower was dirty with hair and some sort of mysterious foam on the sides. I’m attaching pictures. Won’t stay here again.

The hotel is nice the front staff is friendly! But somebody slacking on the cleaning ! Found this in the freezer and I was staying two nights so I needed the freezer ! But on another note I would stay here again !

Room was spotless. Guest services was very courteous and their breakfast was phenomenal.

Our room had not been cleaned very well. Carpet not swept, dust everywhere, office chair was filthy. Room was not updated: no ports for charging computers/phones. Furniture was in poor repair. I would not stay in this hotel again.

daytime staff never greeted you, totally ignored you. them did the same when we left. the room had stuff splattered on the walls in the bathroom that i was able to wipe off so not a stain and there was mold on the shower all over the caulk line. there was a bag of garbage at the entrance when we arrived at night and then still there the next afternoon. nonone cleaned or came to bring towles while we stayed so we called front desk and NO ANSWER.

For the most part the stay was good. The big complaint I would have is the shower had hair on the walls from I'm guessing the previous stay.

+ It was set back from Saginaw Road, so it was fairly quiet. The bed covers and pillows were very soft. Breakfast and coffee was good. Staff were pleasant and polite. - The gigantic Horrock's Market next door made it tough to walk on the south side of the general area. It was a massive parking area. There was also a big fence, so I could mot walk to the east. Not the fault of Hampton Inn / Hilton. The bathroom shower controls were a bit wobbly. They were not secured tightly to a wooden structure in the wall. The entry door of my room appeared to have pry marks on it (Room 310). The inner mk echanical door licking mechanism did not align with the door jamb, so I could not fully secure the door. The electronic lock worked, though. The television channels were mediocre, and there was no viewing guide control, so I could not see what programs were on. People arrived for the room next door at a quarter to Midnight. They were very loud, and I had an important meeting the next morning. Not the fault of Hampton Inn / Hilton, but the front desk person should have warned them that people were sleeping. I did not like the $40/day surcharge for incidentals, in case something was stolen or broken. It is supposed to be refunded to my account. I will double-check my crefit card statement, which is an extra hassle I have to deal with. Overall, it was a good room at a decent price. It seemed fairly clean, safe, and quiet.

Could use furniture updating. Bed was very comfy

Gail at the front desk was invaluable and offered numerous recommendations in the area.

Hotel is what you would expect from Hampton Inn. However the staff was exceptional.

Excellent service, we had a real late check-in and the night shift had us all checked in, rooms ready.

The staff was mature and responsible. I left some things that were very important to me in the closet, I drove back to the hotel first thing the next day, and the first person I spoke with, knew exactly where they were and returned them to me in moments. I'm happy there are still honest people taking care of the rooms. That is an issue of culture. Thank you very much, I'm sorry I did not catch your name.

Room was clean and the pool was nice, but the staff at check in and out were rude and I felt like I was bothering them instead of being welcomed or thanked.

Asked for towels/service and did not receive it. Upon asking for additional towels that evening, desk employee said he would add our room to the list of rooms to be cleaned the following day. The next morning we found out we still hadn’t been added to the list. The day shift employee did ensure our room was cleaned and stocked with fresh towels.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Even cleaning staff acknowledged us and were kind where at most hotels they ignore you. Our room was huge, clean, and had very comfortable beds.

Would have liked bacon for breakfast. Other than that the breakfast was good. Enjoyed the scones and hard-boiled eggs.

The hotel was very crowded, we come at least 4 times a year. Some of the groups had many children running the halls so that was disturbing. We went to breakfast at 8:30. The yogurt was gone, as well as the bread, muffins pastry. There was no orange juice. Everything else was great, front desk very helpful.

Staff was friendly but the breakfast bar was a mess and nothing available 9am.

This is a very nice, comfortable hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. They had a salt water pool which i would have loved to try out. Our TV remote didn't work, but I'm sure they would have addressed that if we had asked them to do so. I'd definitely stay here again
