I stayed in three hotels over the weekend, this one had the cleanest bathrooms!! Breakfast was alright nothing special but enough options for everyone. Loved the fresh oranges and closed cereal/ oatmeal’s. Breakfast lady was friendly said good morning to everyone. Water was nice and hot for the showers when I used it but pressure wasn’t the best. Room was spacious. Would stay again. Parking was easy and fine.

The hotel was good overall. There was a few issues with slow drainage in the sink, the shower pressure was terrible. The carpet could use more cleaning as I can visually see hair and other things. The bed was good and has a decent small pool. The breakfast was ok but definitely could do better. There isn’t that much of a choice on the hot food. Other Marriott hotels in other states have so much more variety. I had issues with cleaning the room on the second day, the cleaning lady didn’t speak English and it took until four o clock to get her to come by. At that point, I didn’t want to bother.

The negatives: the water refill could have been more publicly situated rather than in the gym, the choice of walking distance food choices are small, sometimes the bath towels varied In size and thickness.

The main area was nice, but our room was musty smelling. It seemed like the carpet may have been wet and dried improperly. Hotels do NOT need carpet. It is just a breeding ground for bacteria. The staff was nice, and they had car chargers which we really appreciated.

The person at the front desk was very nice and helped us with extra pillows and towels, plates, forks, etc. AC worked really well. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure in the shower isn’t great. Overall very good stay.

I had a great night sleep. My only issues was with the lady who prepared and organized breakfast. At 6:30 am she was still putting out the hot food which was cold. She hadn’t turned on the lights in the dining area, as I went to grab a bagel she told me that I needed to wait. Then as I was serving the food onto the plate she decided to demonstrate to me how I’m suppose to serve myself with the food utensils. Her interaction with me was rude and condescending. Other than that interaction I was happy with my overnight stay.

Comfortable stay with a spacious, well equipped clean room with 2 Queen beds, abundant pillows and nice sheets. Enjoyed the breakfast options...including an array of nuts/seeds/granola, choc chips and dried apricots for toppings to cereals, fresh fruit, as well as eggs, bacon, turkey sausage, make your own waffles and breakfast juices. The remote for the TV did not work, likely due to worn out batteries. It was replaced when the desk was notified of the problem. I would love a gluten free bread or bagel option added at breakfast.

Service only got 4 stars because night manager was asleep and incompetent, to put it mildly. Hopefully has been reassigned, or will not be left alone to drive business away. Rest of the staff and service was great. We hope to return to hotel again, but will be calling ahead to make sure no problems with front desk and check-in.

Alas, the hotel was overbooked despite Expedia showing two available rooms. We had to scramble for another hotel at 10 pm. Staff were polite but clearly frustrated since they were in a false position. Other near-guests were incredulous. We were told to contact Expedia for a refund which we did. Not cool, Expedia!

Staff was away from desk and we stood there 15 mins waiting to check in. May have just been bad timing but frustrating Room ac was cooling but seemed to raise temperature or stop blowing cool area. Room had funky odor but we didn’t want to move after we checked in and checked out first thing in morning.

I was amazed that there was no house keeping ! I stayed 2 nites and they didn’t clean my room ! I complained and there was no follow up . They said manger would write to me . No one did . I paid a lot for the room and unfortunately they didn’t clean them . So very upset .

Very nice hotel. Rockaway is only an hour from Cape Liberty cruise port and there are tons of dining options near the hotel. Rooms were clean, nice size bathroom, friendly staff. I will stay here again.

Booked this last minute as we were driving through the area and needed some rest. Worth the money. Very friendly staff, easy off the highway location. Room was great, comfy and clean. Breakfast was included in the morning and had a variety of great options. Breakfast staff went above and beyond. I would book this hotel again.

Overall it was good. The hotel and room was clean. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. The AC in the room although on the lowest temperature never seemed to cool off the room, and the desk chair wheel was broken. If I stayed here again I’d bring a fan and make sure all the furniture worked before accepting the room. Of course by the time we noticed the wheel was broken it late at night after returning from a soccer game and team dinner. It way too late to move at that point.
