Our apartment was PERFECT! Couldn’t have been a better location being in Old Town and close to everything. The history even in our building itself is incredible! Irina is so delightful and helpful. The place was literally spotless and had every amenity we could need. The AC was fantastic in bedroom, which was essential for 95+ degree days. You can tell the care and intention that’s gone into make this apartment so lovely and homey. It even has a washer and dryer you can use, which was super helpful. We highly recommend arranging your airport transfer through Irina (she contracts with a driving service), as it’s super reliable and nice - cheaper than other forms (other than public transport) as well. We highly recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you, Irina!

The property is in a quiet location whilst being near restaurants, shops and Diocletian's Palace. The bathroom is small though. There is also no microwave but there is a washing machine with drying rack.

Great little apartment in a historical area ! Host very easy to Communicate with and if you need to do washing and has a great clothes horse for drying over night . Would recommend if you in Split for a night

The location is amazing - can’t get better, directly in the middle of the walled old town close to a lot of the landmarks. Cute property - close quarters but has everything you’d need. Pls note though there is NO on-site parking as the description suggests. The parking is a 5-10 minute walk away which is totally manageable and convenient but just not exactly as described. I did mention this to Irina and she was understanding and said she would adjust the description.

The Apartment is in the center of old town, so everything is walkable, but also only walkable, no access by cars. It is a fairly short (10 minutes) walk to the port and maybe 5 to 10 minutes to get a taxi or Uber, however, all on the old stone alleys. Our apartment was on the first floor, up a fairly short flight of stone stairs, where you can sit out on a pillow watch people go by. Not very recommended if you travel with heavy baggage, also the apartment has all you need but is not big. It has beautiful thick stone walls and an air condition cools the bed room pretty well, which was nice at 30 ° C! The apartment is quirky, has an interesting small but efficient bathroom, a small kitchenette with a small fridge. It is not a minimalist place but we liked it, especially the bedroom. Irina is quite responsive and kind, happy to give recommendations, also quite flexible with the luggage - but there is luggage storage at the port and many other places for EUR 5/piece for the day time. We definitely recommend Irina's apartment! Also, a very good value for the money!

This was just the coolest room. We felt like we were stepping back in time. A small living room and kitchen downstairs and bedroom upstairs. Beautifully restored. So comfortable and cozy. There was a washer and dryer in the unit. If we’d planned better we could have cut down on packing. A real gem.

The soap dispenser in shower was empty after first shower. Coffee was near empty and tasted terribly. Cramped space made worse by cluttered decor and pamphlets everywhere, including on narrow and unsafe stairs.

The apartment is different from how it is described; to access it is necessary to climb steep and narrow stairs; set on 2 levels: on the first there is a small "French" double bed (one and a half square), attached to the wall on one side; broken toilet seat and cramped shower cubicle; dust on all furniture; air conditioning only on the second level, malfunctioning or remotely controlled; TV not working. The photos posted are not true! and even the 4 stars are not absolutely true (in Italy the stars are awarded only with certain requirements). Very bad experience!

It was ok it was however Tiny much smaller than looked in photos . Lots of clutter even vacuum cleaner outside the door. Owner was very pleasant however we moved to a cheaper really great hotel just around the corner . I live quirky this really wasn’t just cramped with very little usefulness

Appartement très bien situé pour visiter le palais Diocletian. Toutes les commodites s’y retrouvent. Si vous avez le sommeil léger, il y a beaucoup de bruit et le logement n’est pas bien insonorisé. De plus, à notre goût à nous, l’appartement est beaucoup trop chargé de meubles et accessoires pour une si petite pièce.

Wonderful experience staying here!! Authentic Croatian experience staying WITHIN Diocletians Palace in a 400 year old apartment. Only negatives is there is a city bell that goes off at 6 am everyday and the bathroom had a strange smell- although our family staying a couple blocks down from us had the same comment about their apartment so it could be a city plumbing issue.

Lovely two story unit with bed and washroom below and kitchenette and seating area above. With the green market and fish market so close, less than 4 minutes, we made our breakfasts and one dinner while there. There was a folding table that was perfect for this but it would have been nice if there was a couple of folding chairs as well. Not a criticism, just a suggestion. It was one of our favourite places that we stayed at during our 8 city tour of Croatia.

Notre hôte a été très flexible concernant notre horaire d arrivée mais également très accueillante. L appartement est petit (surtout la salle de bains) mais très fonctionnel et avec beaucoup de charmes. De plus il est parfaitement équipé. Enfin il est situé au centre de la vielle ville de Split ce qui était idéal pour nous.

This little apartment is in the middle of the palace complex, down a small alley and up a set of stone steps. It is compact, but thoughtfully designed, well-equipped (kitchen) and brimming with charm. Irina, the owner, was incredibly helpful to us. She checked in with us before our stay to coordinate logistics, arranged a car to meet us at the airport, met us when we arrived, gave us a tour of the apartment, and had helpful advice about restaurants, ferries, buses, and ATMs for changing currency. Altogether a delightful experience in a really interesting part of Split.

Really spacious apartment with fully equipped kitchen and space to relax. We got a warm welcome and were able to leave our luggage ahead of check in which helped. Fantastic location in the centre of the old town, close to all the historic parts. Great find

It was great staying in the Old Town. The space is a bit awkward as you try to mesh the old with modern conveniences. Be prepared for steep stairs. But the area is truly charming.

The location is excellent. But the excess to the property is not easy, as the directions are confusing. Some of the electric sockets are not working. The bathroom is way too small. I hit my head twice. I will not recommend it to my friends.

This cozy apartment is nestled in the palace and you are within minutes of the ferry terminal and bus terminal. There are many restaurants and shops in the area. The host was very helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend booking this location when traveling to Split.
