Property for young sports teams in tournaments. If you’re passing thru with trailor or boat there is no parking so forget it. If they would share that I would have avoided the property worse yet they had no solution and quite frankly didn’t care. Reserve at your own risk!

Pool did not look clean and water was cold. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Kitchenette and storage was great. Water for shower was perfect.

We stayed for two nights. The room was nice until the next morning when there was no power. We informed the front desk and after a few attempts they were not able to resolve the problem and asked us to pack luggage and moved us to a different room on another floor. When we spoke to the property manager, he told us that there was maintenance in the area, surprisingly on a weekend. The pool was also cold and not available until after the weekend, which is sad as kids couldn’t go out because of snow.

Clean, food choices for breakfast are good. The fire pit wasn’t working properly.

The hotel has good amenities but they are definitely not well maintained. One out of 2 treadmills was out of order. One out of 2 washers was out of order as well. (do have to give them credit the washer was free to use) Room was comfy. Room service was every other day. We didn’t need room service all the time but when we specifically requested room service at the front desk, they never came. We were there during the heat wave and the hallway on 3rd floor was like a furnace. Seemed like it was a great hotel in the past but the staff there are definitely stretched thin.

We arrived with our room dirty, mold in shower, leftovers in the fridge, and dust on all of the surfaces. I had to clean the mold out of the shower myself with sanitizing wipes that came up black. We asked for a room cleaning and they promised they would do so the following morning. That never happened. We asked again and they finally cleaned on the third day of our stay. On several mornings, the breakfast was not prepared and there was only cold, leftover coffee. We had to go across the street for hot coffee. The laundry machines are both broken and we had to do our laundry at the hotel across the street. We will never come back.

The room was nice but the upkeep of the facility was very poor. The pool had algae in it. The fire pit was broken. Our shower door was broken. The staff was nice and the layout of the room for the most part was nice. Breakfast was very good. I probably would not stay here again given the conditions of the property.

Had issues parking with truck and jet skis but what made me mad was lack of care or concern from front desk when I checked in offered no help and didn’t care

The pool was great for my son, the staff were friendly and curtious, and the facilities as a whole were clean and well kept.

Loved the room. Very clean. Only issue was pool was freezing like it wasn’t heated.

Our room’s bathroom was dirty with hair all over the floor and shower, and urine on the back of the toilet but other than that it was good!

Decent. Older and the bathrooms were a little run down and needs new paint, the hallways have really dirty carpets. The room was clean.

The room was not cleaned well. There were hairs on the sheets, stains on the carpet, and sticky floors. We had breakfast in the morning and it was terrible and barely edible. The bagel I chose was visibly moldy. I am pregnant and as that is dangerous and gross to any human, it was especially dangerous to me. There was also some very shady business going on outside of the hotel. I’m very disappointed by this establishment. I would not stay there again.

Although the room appeared clean at first, every piece of furniture and the walls had stains or greasy marks on them. The blind had holes all down each side. Just didn’t get a clean feeling in there at all.

Dirtiest home 2 we ever stayed at , noisy you can hear every one talking in the rooms that is beside us

The hotel looked inviting immediately when I entered the front entrance. Desk staff was pleasant. Room was spacious and updated, even had large size dishwasher, microwave and fridge. The second floor hallway rug had stains in front every room. Our bathroom Toilet seat was peeling and our full size shower grout was black with what may have been mold.

Checked into room only to find that room was not latched shut when we first got to it. Once we went inside, we noticed “brown” fragments in the toilet, dirty wash rags hanging and filthy surfaces all over the room. A full wrapped sub sandwich at room temperature was sitting in a bag on the end table. It looked as if someone was staying in there already. We went to the front desk to ask for a new room only for them to say that they were fully booked and couldn’t do anything to help us since we booked through Expedia. Unfortunately it was too late for us to cancel and find other accommodations since we were from out of state and had 2 small children with us as well. The solution the clerk gave us was a spray bottle and new towels/ sheets so me and my wife could clean the room ourselves… Contacted Expedia and they said they would call the Manager the next day to see about getting us some compensation/ discount but ultimately weren’t able to get us anything back from the Manager for our troubles. Expedia Offered us One Key cash as a consolation prize. Will never stay at a Home 2 Suites or a Hilton owned property ever again. Probably won’t use Expedia/ 3rd party anymore since it appears they are powerless in helping out much when things go wrong. (Except offer you their own app cash/points for a future booking!) I usually don’t write bad reviews for a place/ business due to a questionable experience as I normally just shrug it off… but this was ridiculous.

Once in our room, we noticed some crumbs of food all over the floor. Some shredded cheese and Fritos to be exact. A Plato's Closet receipt that was on the floor. In the bathroom, when we put the toilet seat down, there was a combination of yellow dried up pee and hair. I used Lysol wipes I had brought to start cleaning it then got grossed out and annoyed that I had to do that. In the shower, there was hair (which wasn't mine) in the shower, along with a used washcloth that was hanging behind the sliding door. Ice cream was left in the freezer. Just very gross! I called and asked if the room had been cleaned prior to us arriving. They said it was. I told them what I saw. They said they would have housekeeping come up before they left for the day. We waited about 25-30 minutes but no one came. We left to go to dinner and never heard anything else. We paid $315 for one night. I was expecting cleanliness at the least. We have stayed there before and had a great experience. Not this time. I was disgusted.

Loved the layout of the 2 room suite. Pleasantly surprised to see a full refrigerator, dishes, etc in the room. Only disappointments were that the queen bed in the bedroom seemed like the size of a full bed and the pull-out couch in the sitting room was super uncomfortable to sit on and also very uncomfortable to lay on when turned into a bed. Other than that, location and service were great. Good value for the price.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament. The proximity to the rink couldn’t be beat. Our hotel room was decent except for the couch in our room was ripped, worn and so disgusting looking we had to cover it with two sheets before using. The other very annoying thing was the pool noise could be heard through the walls and into our room. Because it was a hockey tournament there were a ton of kids swimming and that went well into the late evening hours. 11-11:30pm. Other than that - the hotel served its purpose and the big spacious room was perfect for our family on a hockey tournament.

Clean and spacious rooms! Staff all very nice . Breakfast was average hotel breakfast; the waffles are really good! Beds are very comfortable. HVAC unit worked great- this is really important to me- I like room to be cool/cold! Close to interstate, but no traffic noise!highly recommend!

Comfortable bed, good amount of space and appliances.

Clean - comfortable beds - hot water were the best Was not quiet - people above our room - children were running all night long .

The breakfast was sub-par, but the rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet, and the view of Lake Erie was nice!

Our shower was broken and the curtains were broken and when we voiced the concern nothing was done about it. Also, the walls are so thin you can hear everything in the room next to you.

Wifi did not work, sheets were well used and room cleanliness was poor

For such a new facility the carpets & furnishings are in poor shape. The sofa in our room is stained on both sides of the cushions, seams are frayed, and it makes noises that no furniture should make. The orange curtain that is supposed to serve as a room divider is a little too close to a hospital ER room for my taste & adds to the overall ambiance of cheap goods.

Check in took forever. The lady did not know what she was doing and blamed it on the computer not working. Check in took over 30 min.

The staff was exceptional. There was a mix up at check in, they were super helpful and accommodating. Definitely stay again

The hotel was extremely short staffed. Our room was not fully clean or stocked on arrival-no towels or linen for the pull out and dirty dishes in the dishwasher and kitchen drawer. Room was supposed to be serviced every other day and never was so once again no towels. Each time something was missing we had to go down to the desk from the fourth floor to get towels. They ran out of regular towels the third day of our stay and we were given pool towels and not enough for the family of four.

Was promised a pull out bet but they did not have one available. Also they charge me a fee when I did not have a pet. I never got my refund back and I’m still waiting.

We have been staying at this Hotel for about 8 years now. We just love it, feels like home when we are there. I love the staff they are all so friendly and helpful.

The room was very comfortable. Josh at the check in counter was fantastic. He gave us information about the area was friendly and professional. Thanks Josh for a great experience

Was assigned a room and given keys. When I went to enter the room the keys didn't work. They reprogrammed them and I tried again. Opened the door to see someone else was already in that room. A new room was assigned, with 3 towels for 6 registered people. Many dishes were missing from the kitchen area. Family went to the pool, there were no towels available and I had to go ask for more. Breakfast had limited food that didn't seem to get replenished either of the mornings and the 1st morning no one emptied the trash so people had to leave it everywhere. We went to lunch at noon day 2, and upon returning our keys were shut off and we couldn't get into the building door, or our room. The staff was nice but seemed like overall very unorganized that caused many guests issues and left them complaining.

They cancelled my reservation, I paid for my stay a week before. The staff in the hotel was rude. I reached the hotel at 2.00 am along with my family, they considered it as a no show, without informing the customer they cancelled the reservation. And Expedia did not act on it when it was exclated to them. Expedia claimed that they are just a travel agent they can not do anything on it. Then I spoke to one of the managers in Expedia he completely understood my situation and confirmed that he will process full refund. Expedia should not consider this sort of business relationship with these sort of hotels. Where there is no ethics and lack in professional.

Called to advise I would be arriving late. Arrived just after 1 AM, hotel was dark and empty. Walked around looking for help to check in, including the office behind the front desk. Finally called the hotel, eventually a worker walked out (pretty sure I woke her) and got me checked in. Beds were comfortable room was clean. Went to breakfast at 8:15 and it was wiped out. Finally at 8:55 they restocked all the food. Apologized they didn’t notice and had a large group come through. Food was good for continental breakfast. Overall a good experience, would stay again if in the area.

The location is right out of exit to Interstate 90. Very convenient.

Stayed overnight for a short getaway and to meet up with family. Hotel was clean and well stocked. Pool was busy and hallways were a little loud after hours but not enough to warrant a complaint, but the property definitely skews to families with younger children, probably due to being across the street from Splash Lagoon. Staff was polite and helpful. Location is close enough to anything you might want to do while you're in Erie, and the price is fair for the service and amenities.

The Homes2 by Hilton was very clean inside and around the property. Staff was very friendly and professional. The Homes2 is directly across the street from Splash Lagoon and it was well worth staying here. I'm definitely come back again.

breakfast was not worth the trip down the elevator, but to be fair the kitchen serving area was as cramped as the barley manageable parking lot, the tv service was extremely poor,not my typical hilton experience , more like a clean red roof inn

A great place to stay. We had no problems. The only thing that could be improved would be the breakfast selection. It was just ok.

The hotel itsself was nice, rooms were cozy. If you go to hotels for nice breakfast, this is probably one of the worst. They were always out of things, especially coffee, and breakfast sandwhiches. I was extreamly happy to have recycling in our room, and also they were everywhere in the hotel. We were a family of 6 who stayed 2 days, had to ask for extra towels, and also sheets. The pool area was nice. They are doing some construction.

I liked the staff. Nice breakfast but not easy to keep supplied and hot. Nice atmosphere but needs some completions to the remodeling in my bathroom. On a whole the motel was very nice.

I didn’t like that we had to wait for a room to be cleaned before we could check in. I had 6 children with me and it was very inconvenient. There weren’t any carts to assist with bringing up all our belongings and no other assistance or accommodations were offered. I was told, “if there’s no carts, then they are being used. Our room was sweltering hot and it took some time to get it cooled down to a comfortable temperature. The pool was decent, but there were only 4 towels that we had to share amongst the 7 of us. There was no breakfast available the first morning of our stay (even though it was included) and I was told “our food truck never came”. So I had to go out and spend additional money to buy breakfast for us. I probably won’t be booking at Home 2 suites again in the future.
