On street parking with a pass from Winthrop Arms. Room was clean but not senior friendly (no grab bars near shower and had to step over side of tub to shower). Rooms are on second floor above restaurant. There isn’t an elevator. Walls are thin. No ice machine. Had to go to bar for ice. They had no objection. Pricey for area.

Parking was 20 feet fr9m the front door. Of course, it was November! The hotel staff is wonderful. Two staffers sat on the lobby couch in the morning and provided local knowledge and tips on getting into Boston without using my car. The restaurant food is top notch. Seems like the whole town comes to dinner each night.

We arrived very early in the morning by Uber. We were told we could only get in the building if the door was unlocked and someone was there. Luckily workmen were there and we were able to get in and store our suitcases later or in the evening when we went to check in the check-in is in the restaurant which is the whole downstairs and we waited possibly 20 to 25 minutes for someone to help us even though there were all kinds of weight staff and bartender Who could see us and just walk past us the room was small but comfortable. We had to ask every night for sugar and cream and for a coffee service was very very slow. The restaurant the food was delicious for the course. The prices are high and long delays in getting water our check, but the food came quickly. The end is located almost halfway between Boston and Salem so the Uber that we used to travel cost about the same to go either way the temperature we were able to control comfortably. The bed and pills were comfortable. We had to ask to get our trash picked up .if I had to do it again. If I had to do it again, I would probably stay in Boston or Salem to be in the middle of things that we could walk to. We were also told before coming that there was a restaurant within five minutes we could get breakfast that was not true as far as walking time. May be driving time. We walked to the beach the first day and there are large boulders and it’s very difficult to get to the water. The steps were eroded at the last four steps.

Great place for an east coast get away, located right next to the ocean with beautiful views, a convenient restaurant (surprisingly good - ate there three times and wasn’t disappointed once), and a cozy bar right downstairs. The hostess Charlotte was gracious, enduring my complaints about a mix up with a billing receipt on Expedia with composure, and all of staff at the restaurant were lovely and very accommodating (Nico, Lois, and Mary - thanks for making our trip special). The place has a lot of charm and I'm very glad we chose it over a modern glass high rise in Boston.
