Rooms were what you can expect and clean. However, pool was closed and used as a dump, and the "gym" is three machines and two of them are not working. Kind of a false advertisement.

Got told on arrival that the pool is out of order. Walked down there to take a look and it’s full of green slimy water and there’s old broken furnitures stored in there all around it. Gross. Also, the phone in my room didn’t work. The A/C in the room I got last time I stayed here didn’t work and I had to get them to give me another room. I’ve never had a bad experience at this motel as far as staff goes, folks have always been great! It’s just the condition and don’t say on Expedia that you’ve got a pool if your pool is out of order.

The hotel seemed a bit dated and the pool was closed for renovation. That being said, the customer service was above and beyond my expectations. We inadvertently a bag full of our dirty clothes when we left. DG Palma called and let me know we left them. He said they could mail them to me if we provided a pre-paid mailing label. I printed one from the USPS website and emailed to him and he mailed the clothes to me. He is awesome.

A few things needed attention. The pool was shut down due to “ maintenance “. The washer and drier were both out of order in the laundry room. There was a dead cricket on the bathroom floor and the shower curtain had some moldy spots. It was real quiet except the AC unit was very loud.

We found bugs in the bed and all over the floor (both live and dead). My feet were black from walking around the hotel room. Overall, I wasn't impressed by the cleanliness. We also had some interactions with the manager that were somewhat annoying and not great customer service. He was more abrupt than he needed to be. There were some misunderstandings on both sides because we booked through a third party. We didn't blame the hotel for the misinformation since it was the third party website we used. However, I felt like we were calm and just asking questions about the possibility of a discount or refund since the amenities we thought they had were not actually available. He got a bit argumentative and defensive when it wasn't necessary. We were just asking and not at all forceful or rude. We had booked this hotel specifically because of the pool which wasn't available for use, so we were hoping to possibly find another option but weren't allowed to cancel or get any money back, which is understandable since we booked third party, but could have been communicated in a much more customer-service-minded way.

Overall it was a good stay for my wife and I. We picked it especially for a chance to swim and sit in the hot tub, both which are closed for construction with no notice to us before we booked. Bummer… Our first room had a non-working AC but we were able to get a different room with a good AC. Overall it was a good stay I just wish there was a way for Hotels to let guests know their pools are closed for renovation when it’s going to be closed for months.

The whole hotel smelled musty and dirty. Mildew smell. Elevator out of date on service. Dirt on the floor. Breakfast was a joke. Half a cup of waffle batter at a time with all that would be got out so you had to wait. Small about scrambled eggs but out again waiting 10 to 15 minutes before restocking.

Terrible experience. Dirty sheets: hair and looked like unwashed gross stains. Tried 2 different rooms, both terrible. Smelled badly too. Neither hotel nor Orbitz would refund. Drove to another hotel and paid for another room an hour away. Do not go here.

Several issues with this stay. When checking in, there was a fee for “early check in” but would only be accepted in cash. The person checking us in was unprofessional and constantly needed to scratch his stomach after lifting his shirt. The room was clean and good size. And other than the front desk giving a door key to our room at 1am, the stay was fine.

The gentleman greeted us as we came in and was very nice and polite. Was a very comfortable and quiet location. Got a room with two double beds and the room was huge. Wish I could fine that room everywhere I worked! Very clean and comfortable beds. My friend forgot her sweater and the guy at the desk even called me to tell me it was left. Great place!!

We were told there was no fitted sheet for the sofa bed in the suite. We also only had 6 pillows in our room. The front desk staff stated each room should have 8 pillows. I asked for extra pillows for the sofa bed and was told you do not have extra pillows. I asked for her to let us have 2 extra pillows from an unoccupied room and she stated this was not possible. That was frustrating, as we got the 2 queen suite with sofa bed to accommodate our family.

The main problem I had with my stay here was that I was billed twice for the room. Hotels.com stated that I had paid for the room, but the clerk at the desk did not agree, and seemed to have a hard time understanding what I was saying. I paid for the room again hoping to resolve this through Hotels.com, but they were told to call back when a manager was available, and I have been informed that they were never able to reach a manager. Seems like a scam to me, but at best it's awful customer service. As for the property - it's adequate for an overnight highway stop, the breakfast was a little stale by the time I got there, but there were still eggs and sausage.
The main problem I had with my stay here was that I was billed twice for the room. Hotels.com stated that I had paid for the room, but the clerk at the desk did not agree, and seemed to have a hard time understanding what I was saying. I paid for the room again hoping to resolve this through Hotels.com, but they were told to call back when a manager was available, and I have been informed that they were never able to reach a manager. Seems like a scam to me, but at best it's awful customer service. As for the property - it's adequate for an overnight highway stop, the breakfast was a little stale by the time I got there, but there were still eggs and sausage.

Several issues with this stay. When checking in, there was a fee for “early check in” but would only be accepted in cash. The person checking us in was unprofessional and constantly needed to scratch his stomach after lifting his shirt. The room was clean and good size. And other than the front desk giving a door key to our room at 1am, the stay was fine.

The two nice young men that helped us at the front desk, Mack and Sandy, made us feel welcome even when we came in very late at night. They had free breakfast in the morning and everything was in a little bag so it was ready to go which was helpful. I also enjoyed the fresh fruit and my partner liked the eggs. We slept like babies in the king sized bed. We also had a large cooler of food in our car and it all fit in their large mini fridge. We picked this place because it felt safe and like we would not be robbed, this is one of our concerns while traveling across the country. Our room was very nice and modern, I like how they decorated the place. I was also told their pool would be open in a week. We were too early to enjoy it, but for future guests, they have one :)

There person behind the desk was very friendly and helpful. There is a store next door called the Pecan Shack that is really a neat place to shop.

The whole hotel smelled musty and dirty. Mildew smell. Elevator out of date on service. Dirt on the floor. Breakfast was a joke. Half a cup of waffle batter at a time with all that would be got out so you had to wait. Small about scrambled eggs but out again waiting 10 to 15 minutes before restocking.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, tv easy to work and plenty of channels, cold A/C (and not too noisy), good water pressure in shower, good hot and cold options for breakfast, friendly service. Hotel was very clean and in good condition. We were very pleased with this hotel.

There was no air conditioning anywhere but the room itself. The halls the breakfast area, the lobby all no AC. The bed was horrible, i checked and it looked like a cheap box springs with a matress pad. They only had one towel in the room and one wash rag, We had two guests, my wife and I. I called the front desk to bring another towel when they did we held it up to the light in the bathroom and you could see through it, The other towel after we went to use it had a hole in it. I would recommend if you have any accommodation choice, go somewhere else.
