Motel 6-Elmsford, NY - White Plains

Good motel to rest/sleep. Only complaint: Ice machine not working.

No parking!!!!! so many abandoned trucks.

There no fridge or microwave therefore if you staying more than 1 night i wouldn't advise it. I was only staying 1 night but it still was an inconvenience cause i had a 3yr old grandson so unable to get milk due to no fridge

Didn’t get the code for internet access. Room smelled like smoke even though I asked for non smoking room. Bed sheet had a hole and the shower curtain was ripped. No microwave or refrigerator in the room.

Dirty on flooring and corners. No microwave, no refrigerator, no plugs for electronics and the one that was close to bed was broken. Very limited for the price.

Bad news: No microwave, no coffee maker, no fridge, no extra toilet paper, no shampoo. Floor tiles cracked and dirty. Bed lumpy. Good news: just one night.

Staff was very nice and helpful.. definitely NOT enough parking.

No frig, no microwave, slow internet, bed was definitely mushie, stairs questionable and AC until made more noise than a tractor trailer using a jake-brake try sleeping through that. Finally tv was mounted so high up on the wall well my neck may never forgive me.

Bathrooms needs to be cleaned better. Sweep and mop with bleach. The tub also wasn't cleaned properly. They should have a second roll of toilet paper in the room along with facial tissue. As others obeserved, there is no shampoo.

Very old outdated place. Everything is stained and dirty.

Smeared dead bugs on the walls. Room smelled like dirty mop water. Burn holes in the top blanket. Dead bug underneath top blanket. Gnats all around the room. Barking and howling dog next door. We left after being there two hours.

It was literally the last room available in the area when we booked, so we had no choice. The room reeked of bleach when we entered, so they must have cleaned something, but there were flies everywhere. The mattress was old and filthy. The bathroom door had dried mucus on it, and the toilet had dried excrement on the tank lid and base. The flooring and furniture were shabby when new, and that was probably 40 yrs ago. I've seen worse, but this whole place was pretty awful. I would never stay anywhere like that again.

The staff was rude by giving away my friends double bed room she paid for because we checked in after 4 because someone else needed a double bed. He tried to cancel the reservations and we explained we are 2 hours from home with. Kids that’s not possible and it was late. He gave us a room we had to share with one bed no working TV and the sheets had stains in both rooms. It was mildew coming from ceiling. The bathroom had mold on walls and toilet had marks and stains on them. The overall stay was scary with random people walking through the parking lot. Not even ice in lobby. We had no choice being nothing else was available . We slept with clothes on and left in the middle of night because it was a spider on my niece. Needs to be torn down. Nasty nasty nasty. We are alll so traumatized. By far worst I’ve ever stayed at for an emergency stay. I had to cover my daughter in towels to keep her warm!!!!!! Runnn!!! It will be better to sleep in your car on the side of the road!!!

The room was clean, the shower worked, and the parking was easy. I enjoyed the stay.

Parking spots were scarce, which I found weird for a Hotel. Hair on the Sheets and bathroom.

Parking lot is not accessible for bigger vehicles. Only small compact cars. The outlets were flimsy and hardly grabbed the prongs of our chargers for our phones. It was good for one night stay.

A very comfortable night. Room is basic as it gets but I have no complaints. I recommend the El Dorado Diner too, only a minute away.

This motel looked bad outside. Dirty and trash strewn around. The room was very basic but extremely clean. Even the old yellow tub was spotless.

Steer clear of this one. Wow, the workers we dealt with were very friendly. There's a red flag when you try to get into the office at night. And the doors are locked and there's security glass between yourself and the person behind the counter. Mattresses very uncomfortable and lumpy. Pillows supply were small and lacking any sort of body to them at all. While the bathroom was retired, they left the old yellow tub in place. No soap dish anywhere to be found in the shower.

Booking this place was definitively one of my worst decisions to date. Had no other option since all other hotels were full due to high season (Halloween). Room had a horrible smell of cigarettes, not even with the windows opened the smell remained. Also, no hot water, we checked in late in the night and to our surprise there was no hot water. Neighbors also were not quiet at night, yelling each other and dropping heavy objects into the floor. Bedsheets had what it seems to be cigarette burns. Thankfully our stay was just one night but this place is not worth 200 dollars per night. I had made my mission in life never to set foot ever in my life in this place.

Excellent and accomodating manager!

No customer service. The room was dirty, sheets dirty, bathroom door broken. When asked for another room the answer was sorry we are sold out. Room, did not have a iron, no closet for clothes. Just hangers on the wall. Dark hallways where my room was. The AC was bad, temp control.

I had a Reservation for a NONSMOKING GROUND ROOM. When i got there to this shady looking Motel 6, the attedent said he only had the top walk up and when I got up there it STUNK OF CIGARETTE SMOKE. TERRIBLE!!! I had told the priginal lady I spoke to that I have 2 very bad knees and must ha e a grou d unit. I also told her I have Asthma and can not be in smoke. I took the key immediatelyback to the atte dent who did not care at all, and told him it was unfit and i was leaving. I have stayed at Motel 6's before and never had this is or decline of the premises. I went elsewhere. You should refund me!!!

Management is phenomenal

Check in was great, he was very attentive and kind. Checkout was a little weird. Asked for late checkout and was told it was okay but then suddenly I was being yelled at to get out. Room being called etc. Told I only had 5 minutes so I said ok will leave now. Then she started shouting at my Mom who has a heart condition and I was like OK I already told her. It made an already stressful situation worse.

I love trying new properties of various rating so I can get a get feel for myself but this one was a no go for me. The check in was like a slight argument about what days I booked . I explained that I did pay for a day earlier than my projected arrival due to the distance were traveling and I just don’t understand what parts of that the owner did not understand because at 6 am I was not interested in having that same conversation again with her. The first room was the absolute worst ever. The bed sheets were dirty with some brown material on them and hair everywhere darn where . I don’t think the sheets had been changed it the room swept of mopped in a long while. When k brought it to the owner’s attention by way of asking for some clean bed linens her response was that we don’t have another room, then we have one more room we can move you into but if that don’t work then we are booked. So we just took another room after she wanted to let me know that she did us a favor by upgrading us from a queen size bed to a king size. But so you had to do was get me some clean sheets because I knew what I paid for. The second room was better having no hairs on the sheets but entangled in the blankets that at this point needed to be thrown away for sanitation purposes. The bathroom had more hair all over and everywhere than I had on my page. At that point I just went up the street CVS purchase my own cleaning supplies so I could be somewhat comfortable. You get, what you pay for!

Honestly a great deal if you're looking for a place to be your homebase for a trip to the city. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, area was quiet, staff was helpful. All you could ask for.

They offer coffee in the morning, but ran out of cream. Did these ruined my weekend? No. Could the motel have done better? Absolutely!

We did not feel comfortable or safe in this property. A screaming woman climbed through the drivers side window of a moving vehicle just outside our door, and some men in an adjacent room were hollering and partying for hours. Our TV service did not work upon arrival, and the clerk (probably) lied to me and said that it was temporarily out because of the rain... though the service was still out the following day. That said, the room was almost clean, and the air conditioner worked, and drowned out the sounds of the neighbors, the parking lot, and the highway. Don't stay here unless you're strapped for cash and are comfortable in a mildly threatening environment.

The room was nice and clean. The area was very heavy with traffic and the hotel sits on a very busy road.

Upon pulling into the parking lot I didn’t feel safe what do ever. The staff was courteous however the moment I entered the room I felt even less safe. The room was dirty with flys and bed wear had what I hope was flies on it. The flooring was buckled and coming up. When I slept at night I slept on top of the bedding while using towels as blankets. From that moment I knew I wanted to leave early. I ate the 117 I was paid for the second night and drove home a day early. If I knew this was going to be my experience I wouldn’t have booked here. I will never book at a motel six again

Reasonable price for a utilitarian motel in a suburb north of New York City. Feeling of safety with rooms surrounding central parking area with office next to and overseeing one side of the access drive to the parking area.

The “clientele” that kept coming and going was very sketchy. People coming and going all night. Whatever the cleaning person used smelled all night and afraid to open windows.

This hotel has good ownership. I do believe though for the price you pay you should have more amenities than what is offered. Microwave, coffee pot, etc... Plus they should have daily room service.

The property was clean however, the toilet paper holder was coming off the wall. There were no tissues and no coffee maker. In fact, there was really nothing but the basics...a bed, a bathroom and a flat screen TV.
