North tower WiFi did not work in the bedroom area. It would only work in the hallway near the bathroom. Room needs a paint job/walls need cleaning.

Easy check in and free access to the gym next door

With the exception of the 2 excellent receptionists, service was sub par. Sleepy? Ask for coffee and get 6 packs of decaf only. Enjoying TV? It got replaced by a new system during the stay and was effectively shut down. Daily cleaning is good for making the bed and towel service but not for trash removal or soap replacement. The gym is about a 2 out of 5 (if you can figure out how to get in) The location, receptionists and price were great so I do recommend it.

When i arrived they asked what I wanted. I was informed I could not check in untill 3pm. When I got back they charged me 68.00 resort fee and told me nothing. There is no resort. The next day I asked what service they provided. There is no service. It does not have a kitchen it’s a computer desk with a single coffee maker on it and a small can of pringles. The balcony is a one person stand with a view of broken windows.

Great location—within walking distance to many iconic NYC sights. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. However, the bathroom felt a bit worn and could use either a renovation or more thorough cleaning. Check-in was just okay. When we arrived, there was no one in the building, so we had to wait a while to check in. The staff didn’t come across as friendly and seemed pretty disengaged. Also, something to keep in mind: the property has two separate buildings. One has the lobby and amenities shown in the photos, including the bar and gym. The other building—located across the street—is where all the rooms are, according to staff. So, if those amenities are important to you, know that you'll need to walk over to access them.

Staff at front desk is awesome, super helpful. The hotel is split between a north and south tower, room pictures on their website did not match quite as we expected when we arrived -- lobby is quite different in reality, our room had a less well-lit feel. Garbage trucks audible from the room almost every night. Positive note - bathroom towels & shower - excellent. Wifi inconsistent (not strong & drops out). Mini kitchen - no towels / soap provided for dishes. Frig doesn't have a freezer. Great location in terms of proximity to MTA lines. Not sure if we'll pick this location again.

The elevator didn’t work several times and we were either trapped in our rooms, floors 11 and 17, or unable to get to them,causing us delays and not being able to change one night for a play.

Room/balcony not as advertised.

The WiFi was spotty the two days we were staying. The staff gave us a modem but that didn’t help much. If you’re on vacation but still needing to work, I wouldn’t stay here. But for convenience and location—access to KTown—were excellent!

This hotel has two towers on both sides of the street. Our room was in the north tower. South tower has any amenities the hotel offers. Room was small, not very comfortable. Bed was good, room was clean, staff was great, but room needs fresh paint. Hotel is good if you just need a place to sleep and shower. Be aware of daily resort fee and deposit at check in.

Bathroom was not well clean floor to shower was really dirty dirt on walls

The walls are in dire need of paint:there are all sorts of dings and stains and yuck on the walls. The light fixture is hung exactly in front of the TV so there's a huge glare on the screen. The bathroom grout in the shower is yuck. I stood on a towel when i showered. I never got hot water morning, afternoon, evening or night. The bed sheet had a 4"×10" piece torn out of it. The balcony loks out o to a bunch of super dirty window of other buildings. It's difficult to tell what the weather is as youre inside an airshaft. The balcony is probably a out 3'×2'. THAT SAID... if you're a smoker (I'm not), that balcony would be really nice. The hotel is within a half block of the subway. The prices were very reasonable. I couldn't hear anyone in any other room once i shut my door (you can in the hall so i now they werent super quiet). Good location in Manhattan. I walked to The Empire State Building, Edge, CVS, food carts, intersections where it would be easy to grab a cab. All in all, i WOULD stay here again, but i would ask for a room without a balcony so i could see out and check the weather, etc. I should also mention that every person i met associated in any way with 32 32 was incredibly polite, helpful and friendly.

The photos on Hotels.com did not match the actual hotel. The inside of the hotel room was very dirty. The walls were filthy, stains on the bedding/headboard/curtains. The shower also looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. The air in the room also did not function properly - at night the heat would turn all the way up. I did let the front desk know and they sent maintenance up to fix the issues, but the fix did not work. There is another Hotel 32 32 across the street - I am assuming the photos on Hotels.com were of this location. I feel like this was a bait and switch. I would have booked a different hotel upon arrival, but I had to prior to arrival.

A pretty mediocre stay for the most part, but my shower was missing a door panel, there were a bunch of tiny bugs crawling in the top corner of the shower, oh and the bathroom ceiling started leaking right over the toilet! Balcony was very underwhelming, like a telephone booth in an alley. As a 30yr old solo traveler, I don't need much to sustain me, but I'm sure you can find a better hotel nearby for the same price

The room sheets were stained, the towels were discolored (dirty or stained? not sure). and the walls are all scratched and need a paint job.

The hotel is in a terrible condition and the room is extremely dirty, both inside and on the outside terrace.

Rooms need renovations. Dirty bedding and not working AC. It's not worth the money. Not recommended

Hotel 32 32 made our trip to New York unforgettable. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and the service was exceptional.

Hotel is small and has a cool modern vibe and 2 sushi restaurants. Front desk service was awesome. Maintenance came and fixed the A/C in a jiffy, great maintenance guy. Wifi was very slow and made video conferences hard. room felt like a cross between a do-it yourself renovation and kind of worn, with mis-matched and poorly painted outlets, grout missing, DIY grout in the bath. All in all just felt depressing. I would have given it the 'ok' except based on the price it didn't cover - very expensive for the product in my opinion. Paying the same tonite at a different hotel 2 blocks away and the difference is night and day.

Small room. No lobby. Nice staff. Close to only one Subway line (the 6). It was fine. The bed for the third person is a single which we knew, but it’s a dold out low to the ground, which we suspected, but there were two bars running through it so not very comfortable for our teenager. The room we booked had a small balcony but it was too cold to use it - would be nice in warmer months. Pretty quiet street.

32/32 is solid choice for midtown, if not special in any way. The location is very convenient to the 6 subway line, and Penn Station is just a few blocks away. Staff were very welcoming. My room was decent sized for Manhattan, though I was not given the studio I had booked, and the balcony was too tiny to be usable, plus it looked out on a dreary stairwell. The rooms would benefit from some updating as well.

Wonderful stay at Hotel 32|32! The location is perfect — close to everything but still quiet at night. I had an issue with my room key on the first night and the front desk staff fixed it within minutes. Super helpful and friendly team.

The rooms were OK, but really need updated. Air conditioners do not work well, ours stopped working on a very warm night. The staff are polite and helpful, but they could get the air conditioner fixed that evening.

Hotels small but great location. Rooms are a good size compared to most in the city. Clean and floors only have a small amount of rooms on them so the hotel is quite quiet. Had a great nights sleep.

Room was fine although lots of street noise from 2nd floor. Door was very squeaky and we were concerned with bothering others when opening and heating was poor.

This hotel was a decent value. I had a large room that was supposed to be 500sq ft+. Although it was large, I doubt it was that large - likely closer to 350-400. You can tell that some of the property has been redone (mostly furniture and wall hangings) but walls, baseboards and bathrooms are in real need of painting and updating. My room came with a kitchenette which was quite handy. First day I was there it was over 90° and the air conditioner clearly could not handle the heat. I asked them to check it but they didn’t do anything (they kept promising or saying I wasn’t in the room and couldn’t check) probably because of they already knew there was little they could do as units are old and need updating. Once the temperature cooled into the 80s, the room was fine. I was on the second floor facing the street level and the windows have tinted glass so you can keep the shades open without fear of being seen inside. New York is noisy but the street was calm and I didn’t have any trouble sleeping. The beds were comfortable and I would say the hotel was essentially a 3 1/2 star to 4 star only because the size of the rooms are larger than what you expect from a normal 3 1/2 star.. this could probably be an incredible hotel if some boutique took it over and redid all the rooms but in the current state if you’re looking for a good value for a business trip it probably suits - if you you’re bringing your girlfriend or wife and you want a more luxurious room, I’d skip it.

Front desk staff was rude with an attitude. Room had dirty walls. Bad experience than my first time.

This has been by far the worst hotel I’ve ever booked. We arrived at 10 pm to find our room door left open, which already felt unsafe. The shower didn’t work properly, the drain was clogged, and there was no A/C or thermostat. Later that night at midnight, someone tried to enter our room. With no peephole, my boyfriend and I were terrified, thinking it was a break-in. After 20 minutes, security forced the door open (only stopped by our latch) with two guests, accusing us of being in their room. We showed our key card proving the room was ours—the front desk had clearly written the wrong room number for the other guests. Instead of apologizing, security told my boyfriend to “calm down.” We barely slept out of fear it would happen again. In the morning, I went to ask the front desk for an explanation, but he brushed it off, saying we “should’ve called last night” and refused to reassure us that this wouldn’t happen again. They fixed the drain and shower, but never apologized or took responsibility for what happened at midnight. I paid $290 CAD per night for this stay—when we could’ve stayed at the Hilton down the street for the same price—with far better service and security. This hotel is unsafe, unprofessional, and fails to care about its guests’ well-being. I left feeling disappointed, exhausted, and concerned for our safety. I will never stay here again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before booking.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Avoid If You Need Basic Services Like WiFi I stayed at this hotel for a week and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. The biggest issue was that there was no WiFi the entire time, despite it being advertised. We complained every single day to at least five different staff members at the front desk. Each one was indifferent and claimed there was nothing they could do. By the fourth day, we found out they hadn’t even contacted the internet provider — there was zero effort to resolve the issue. We were promised compensation and told the manager (Joanna) would meet us. She never showed up until we insisted on the last day. Even then, she made us wait a long time and only came down reluctantly. She said she was waiting on her bosses for approval and would email us by the end of the day — but, unsurprisingly, that never happened. Other issues: - No lock on our room door (completely broken) - Very weak water pressure - One day, the elevator broke, and we had to climb 17 flights of stairs The WiFi issue was the most unacceptable, though. In today’s world, a hotel without working WiFi — and with staff who don’t care to fix it — is simply not acceptable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service and basic amenities not functioning.

Great stay, the manager was very nice, he was able to help me with parking and any of my other concerns or questions throughout my stay.

Awful customer service. They were rude and unhelpful. Asked for extra pillows three times they said ok. No pillows showed up.

Excellent spot if you want to explore Midtown on foot. Everything was within a 10–15 minute walk. Staff was really attentive!

I walked into the room and walked right out. Because I paid for a balcony and was given something else. I was disappointed then when u expressed my frustration to the night staff on duty they were extremely disrespectful and rude, and kept asking me “what’s your problem” despite the fact that I had explained it very calmly, very respectfully and was met with a nasty attitude. On top of the fee I paid for the room on the Expedia app I was advised that there was an additional 34.00 left to pay. I get there and they said I had to pay a deposit of 175.00 which I paid but as I said I did not stay in the hotel, the staff treated me extremely poorly and all I wanted was a refund on my despot because they said I would get it when I leave the hotel I was not happy I wanted my deposit and they refused. So now I have to deal with it with my bank and their merchant. This is unacceptable.

So all in all a really good stay and a good budget place to stop in central manhatten. But a few points. The south tower is definitely nicer than the North tower. I'd heard this and when I'd booked a long time ago I asked to stay in the South tower and was told to get in touch closer to the time. I emailed and used the contact us page in the weeks preceeding our visit and got no response and arrived to find us in the North tower which was disappointing. For Manhatten the rooms were a decent size with all the things you'd hope for. Comfy. The North tower has one elevator for an awful lot of floors and rooms. We were very thankful to be low down in the building and just used the stairwell. The Staff were really helpful, gave us extra water as it was crazy hot when we visited. Polite and professional. The room cleaning was limited. They basically make your beds and empty the bins. A little surprised with the little kitchenette that they don't clean your glasses / put the bathroom back like it should be. The last thing I'd say we saw it advertised a lot on line and on instagram like it is some sort of boutique hotel. It really is not! Generally very pleased and would stay here again but not luxury at all!.

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is great, easy access to Penn station. It was quiet. We booked this hotel because it had a kitchenette and we were able to walk to whole foods and Trader Joes. The kitchen was great and made breakfast so easy. My only suggestion to the hotel would be dish soap and a papervtowels in the kitchen . staff were all friendly and provided us with bottled water. It was clean and comfortable. We will stay here agin.

Excellent room with a kitchen. Sufficient storage. Great location near 33rd St subway and close to a few restaurants. Staff were very helpful. A few issues which were dealt with promptly. Be aware that check in is one side of the street and our room was the other side, possibly because we had two beds.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in for the price. It is in the heart of Little Korea which gives you tons of food options. The sushi restaurant in the hotel is one of the best in the city. The only complaint was that the room felt a little dated.

This hotel offers some rooms with a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals if, like me, you prefer to keep your costs low by eating in instead of out. The room I had was perfect for that. Check-in was easy and quick; and the location was quite convenient for me.

Convenient to the subway. No concierge. No restaurant or bar on premises which was indicated on listing. No breakfast which was also advertised. Photos on listing were not representative of actual property. Bathroom was the best feature. Nowhere to sit except on the bed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel facility shows some wear (e.g. could use a fresh coat of paint and some minor upgrades on their in-room furniture), but otherwise was a convenient location, staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable.

The building is somewhat old, and the facilities reflect that. However it’s in a quiet but accessible area of 5th avenue in Korea town. The staff were great, shoutout to the bartender at the hotel’s sushi restaurant, who made our night. Great memories.
