The photo on the website is deceiving in that the property appeared to be more modern. I was unable to stay in my 1st room due to a horrible odor, which I believe to be carpet that had gotten wet. Moved to a 2nd room, which was better, but still not what I expected. The room was clean, however. The best part about the breakfast was the waffle maker. Everything else was cold, but I did eat a few hours after breakfast started so maybe it was hot earlier. My biggest disappointment was the Fitness Center. I planned to work out, and am accustomed to a variety of equipment. There was one stair stepper and one treadmill. Both older models. I am not usually a luxury hotel traveler, but am still accustomed to better accommodations and amenities. Will not return to this property and do not recommend.

Everything was good - including room rate, except the gym. Gym was tiny and poorly equipped - elliptical machine has bad screen, squeaking treadmill, no free weights.

Everything was fine until we found out the coffee machine was broken when we got there. Thought we’d have a cup of coffee when we arrived after driving 5 hours but no. It really sucked in the morning though to wake up with no coffee.

The rooms are very old and run down. The bathrooms are disgusting and dirt has accumulated on the walls, tile, floorboard. The showers are old and I won’t even shower in them because they are moldy. I took pictures but I won’t post them because it’s too embarrassing.

The property looks to be recently updated, but our room had ants on every surface except the beds. That was the only saving grace that there wasn't anything wrong with the beds. The lady at the desk was nice, but the ants were still there when we checked out 2 days later.

Do not stay here. I read reviews and everything was good. But when you are there and see the burnt eggs every morning for a week it's not work getting up at 6am. I was woken up at 415Am by two cockroaches crawling on my foot and ankle. I jumped out of bed and my husband and I immediately packed up our baby and our things and checked out. I asked for a manager and didn't get a call back for two days. The excuse I was given was that an exterminator was there a week ago and it was normal for some to still be there. That is inexcusable. There should be no pest infestation. I was offered a $25 walmart giftcard as an apology. I had to spend $200 on cleaning, and detailing and pest control sprays to make sure our belongings and car didn't have any roaches or eggs. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Property is showing its age. Carpet in room had a mildewy smell, shower door didn't seal and water leaked onto the floor, toilet was loose and toilet seat was broken. Location is what it has going for it.

I loved my stay from moment one. The staff welcomed me and made me feel seen and taken care of. The Inn was super clean, very unique, and perfectly decorated. I stayed there while my daughter attended the four day soccer camp. I was greeted coming and going by the staff each day. The room was quite comfortable and spacious. I will definitely be staying here again on my return visits to Clemson!

I had called earlier in the week for an early check in but when I got there one woman at the front desk was extremely abrasive and asked for the name of the person that spoke with. She said that was impossible and they were sold out. She reluctantly told me that she would call me when the room was ready. She never called and I just checked in at 5 or so. Not a great start… Otherwise the room had a musty smell and the bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky. There are a ton of hotels in that area - I’d recommend going somewhere else (even if it’s further away).

I understand that the area has been hit with an historic storm and many circumstances are beyond the control of the hotel staff. However, paying $442 for a room with no electricity or hot water feels like price gouging. No a/c also made for a very unpleasant stay, and while we were grateful to have shelter, we could barely sleep. The woman at the front desk was very rude and said we “should have known” there was no power (businesses just down the street had power & there was no indication of any problems when we booked online). Rooms are now being advertised at 1/3 the cost, so I can only assume this establishment was taking advantage of the situation & price gouging. There was no offer for any kind of compensation for our discomfort (some cold bottled water? A partial refund of the outrageous room rate? We never demanded a full refund, but something to acknowledge the lack of power, a/c, & hot water would have been appropriate). I will NEVER stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone after how we were treated.

This hotel isn’t fancy but is fully functional and a great option when staying in Clemson. Also, I cannot say enough about the staff and management. We had a special request for our stay and instead of putting us off as most establishments would, they used compassion rather than policy to assist. I will give them my business on my next visit.

The staff was absolutely amazing. We stayed there while our son attended Football camp and he unfortunately was injured and we needed to stay another night. They were able to accommodate us as well as put us on the first floor so he wouldn’t have to go far with his knee injury. Highly recommend and we certainly will be back. Breakfast was good as well.

This is a no frills hotel that is close to Clemson University events. It’s a 20 - 25 minute drive to shopping in Anderson. There are a lot of restaurants within a few miles as well.

We were not impressed at all. The beds were bad. The shower feels like you’re in an RV shower with the floor flexing like it’s going to fall through. The continental breakfast was lacking. Would not stay here again.
