Inn at Clemson was very convenient to the University and close to where we needed to be. The staff was also great and very helpful. The accommodations were mediocre at best. We had 3 adult travelers and booked a double queen room . Typically in most hotels, a double queen would accommodate this size group easily. At the Inn, our room was horribly inadequate. We had no closet to speak of- the room had a short “armoire” cabinet - that could not fit our formal wear (dresses etc) for the graduation nor were we given enough hangers- we had 3 in the cabinet. When I asked for more at the front desk- I was told the Inn was sold out and likely they would not have extras ? The Front desk did manage to find 3 more for us. There were also only 3 towels in the bathroom for 3 adults for 3 days. It seems like because we were 3 guests, they only left 3 of everything in the room. The shower leaked on the floor due to a large gap in the door and that used up one towel to mop the floor daily. There lacked adequate drawers, no place to store our suitcases/shoes without tripping over them - one small trash can in the entire room and tiniest sink area. It was difficult for us to manage and coordinate 3 adults in a room with such poor design. The breakfast was mediocre ( eggs were inedible) and coffee was horrible - but you could grab a yogurt and go - if needed. Overall- if attending a football game - the Inn would be adequate. It was a struggle in that room on graduation weekend for 3 adults. :(
