It was too cool for the poo[ but it was very clean. The room was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable of our whole trip. Which is why we stayed twice plus we met some very nice people. Georgians are nice people.

The motel is a migrant housing facility. The motel had a sign that said no pets, $100 fine. The room next to us had a large dog in it not to mention a Barbque grill in front of the room. Beware it doesn’t deserve the average rating shown on Orbitz.

The furniture was very dusty. The bathroom door was filthy on the inside and outside. The showerhead was filthy. It was so crowded. The drain of the tub looked so nasty. It was rusted from the water dripping, I wanted to make some tea, but the coffee pot was so nasty. I had to get hot water from the drive-through of Dunkin’ Donuts. The curtain was ripped, and the TV channel kept changing on its own. I won’t ever go back there again.

Thought this place would be OK. But that night just as we were turning the lights off I spotted a roach on the bed and one crawling under the bed. Will never stay there again. The outside was a mess, with clutter and cleaning stuff strewn about. Wonder if they actually used it. Very disappointed.

My grandmother passed and we had to make a quick trip to say my goodbye and be with my dad. It was a clean room, it was comfortable and very quiet. The owner was a very nice gentleman. Easy check in process. I really like the fact that you can check in at 1pm vs 3p at most other places. It helped when we had drove all night, so we were able to take a nap before going to the funeral home.

Hotel was decent for an overnight stay, it was a room to get out of the elements, not the best hotel, not the worst either. It is old, could use some remodeling, however, it was clean. I did bring my own sheets, towels, pillows and cleaning supplies. Imagine that mop going from hotel room to hotel room. Bring your own bleach, disinfectant, mop, an opt out of housekeeping. No holiday inn or better nearby. It was quiet, minded my own business, no one bothered me, and I didnt bother them.

When our original reservations were made, we had a upstairs room. My husband is now disabled and the front desk made changes to get us downstairs. This was greatly appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. Have already made reservations for next year.

I’m leaving the negative review only because I’m bitter the ownership wasn’t a little more understanding of my situation when considering a refund. I’m from out of the area and was in a pinch when I quickly booked a hotel through Expedia. I didn’t realize there was a Helen GA and a Helena GA. I booked the hotel for Helena, which was the wrong choice. I immediately contacted Expedia then booked for Helen GA. I understand this is completely my fault. I did not select the protection, for I was sure I was staying the night. I wasn’t more careful in selecting my hotel. This was an honest mistake, I just expected the ownership to be a little more human when considering a refund. Business is business. Thanks for listing to my gripe.

I've got a bad back and was hurting when I got there . , desk clerk put me on ground floor and insisted on carrying my luggage and getting me ice for cooler . She is an Angel , tidy , neat snd clean . Wonderful folks

We stayed here as a median point for the Peaches to Beaches yard sale. This worked out perfectly, restaurant and groceries close by. Just what we needed. They even worked with us and got my parents a ground floor room. Will stay here again.

Very strange financial interactions. Hotel should have cost $129. Ended up spending $169. Clerk said it was due to 18% tax. That's only $20. He also asked me to bring him back $20 cash for early check-in. Then bc my wife's card was on file they still charged her card $80.

I needed a room for a family reunion at Little Ocmulgee. The room was at a great price and had good reviews so I booked it. The room was clean, A/C was cold I liked the area. I was very happy with the room and wouldn’t be bothered at all staying there again.
