Stayed 1 night

I arrived on time and booking was confirmed, however I was refused a room due to a previous overnight stay where I was given room #115. I had settled into the room and turned on the air conditioning and smelled a musty odor not usually associated with air conditioners. Looking further I noticed black mold on the cover vents. I took the unattached filters into the bathroom to rinse. While in the bathroom I utilized the toilet. While sitting with my head bowed a large clump of black mass dropped on my head from the bathroom exhaust fan. Looking up I saw that it was completely covered in black mold. I took the cover off and the whole fan and motor were completely covered in mold and it seemed to be almost growing on it. I immediately went to the office and requested a different room and showed the clerk the fan cover and explained the situation. Her reply was, "yes, I know, I've stayed in the room myself and tried to clean it but was afraid to remove the cover. But I'm sorry, I can not give you a different room. We have other reservations still coming in and we are sold out" I asked for the manager named Dee and again was refused. "I was told not to disturb her" was the answer. I couldn't reserve a room somewhere else because I had limited funds until the next day and decided to unmount the fan and carefully disconnect the 2 electric wires and brought it up to the office. Damaging nothing in the process and taking photos of the process showing the mold inundated the shaft too

Definitely not a good place for travelers with pets. Only one very, very small patch of grass and none on any surrounding properties. Staff was very friendly. Motel as a whole is old, dated, and seriously needs some repairs in the rooms.

I guess for the price this is what you get nowadays. But it is very rundown, though the sheets were clean. Pretty sure it’s a low number of staff establishment. We asked for an extra blanket and pillow at the front desk to which she replied no I can’t go into that room and said some other stuff that didn’t make sense and ultimately we didn’t get an extra pillow or blanket.

Stayed 27 nights

I booked this girl for my son and was told he was out in business class, not in the rundown and filthy rooms that are available for transient and homeless people. My son stayed therefore 28 days, the staff was fairly friendly, although he reported the entire hotel smelled, including his room. Because it was a fairly good deal, and to prevent him having to move to a different hotel, just for a couple of weeks more, I rebooked and other two weeks, and was absolutely promised by the manager that he would be put in an equally nice business class room, but with one queen bed, rather than two queen beds, to hold down the cost, as the cost had gone up over the holidays. However, they ended up moving my son to one room, then later to another room, which he reported was in the section of rooms that cater to the homeless and transient population. There was old food and french fries all over his room, dirty q-tips and tissues, filthy walls and carpet and he said the area smelled like smoke and urine. He said there are people going in out of his room and he could see that things have been moved around in his room, but they refuse to take responsibility and denied everything. I put my trust in this hotel and the manager, and was sorely disappointed. I would avoid this area at all cost
