My purpose was for a funeral...the location was perfect for where I needed to go. The parking was not the best, but at least the back and side doors of the Hotel made it more accessible when you had to park way in the back.

The Best Western Plus Kendall is a good hotel. The room was with kitchenette was spacious and maintained well by housekeeping staff. The elevator service was out on one elevator for my entire stay and a power outage knocked out the cable for almost two days which were two detractors.

This is my 2nd time here. I 1st came when the hotel opened. I'm now visiting after a revamp in 2019. Check-in was easy. The outward appearance and in look up to date. The bathroom could use to decor and better fixtures to spruce it up. The king suite was spacious with a living room and work area. Breakfast was just okay; the usual egg and sausage some days, waffles, ceral, breads, etc. There is restaurants and shops within walking distance and easy to get around if not driving. Only one elevator is working which caused some wait. The cable was off for a day. There was also a power outage of some sort but it came back on shortly after. The cleaning staff was friendly (room cleaned 4 out of 5). Check-out a breeze. Also the holding fee ($500) stated on Expedia was not so, so I was happy about that. I'd stay here again.

Our room had a damp smell, but also a strong cleaning smell - so thought maybe just cleaned and etc. I dismissed it as I'm pregannt and highly sensitive to everything. But it continued to smell that way the whole trip. I didn't make a fuss and we chose to not have the toom cleaned whilst there as we were there for a short period to shop. My husband didn't tell me until after we left he saw doggy treats by the AC, whilst I like dogs I do not believe in them sleeping in a house nor around me when I eat. I wished he had told me, so we could changed rooms right away - also the phone didn't work when needed to make a local call. The hotel's age is starting to show, upgrades are needed and carpets need to be a thing of the past in my opinion. Overall it wasn't a terrible stay but I can't promise I would return.

I travel to the Miami area frequently for business and stay in a variety of hotels depending on my itinerary. This is the cleanest and best maintained hotel of all of those that I have stayed in regardless of price. It was almost like it was brand new but I know by the TV style that it must have been around for a while.... From the nicely landscaped hotel, you could walk to a bookstore and about five restaurants and electronic store and many other diversions... It is also conveniently located just off the highway but you don't hear any of the road noise. The pool area is nicely landscaped and from my second floor room I could see a forest of coconut palms!

Easy to get to. It’s right off of the turnpike. The check in was easy. The staff was nice. It’s clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows could have been bigger for a king size bed. Problems we encountered: I had two rooms and the toilet wasn’t working in one and it smelled of smoke. The staff changed us rooms but we had left for a wedding, came back and found that rooms toilet wasn’t working either. No extra pillows for the couch beds so we mixed them around from the second room. You may need a better maintenance person. All in all the stay worked for the one night we needed.

Bed was extremely old and would sink to every side as it’s not supposed to. Elevator honestly smelled like vomit and overall the pictures of the hotel were better than in person. We had booked thinking it would’ve been better maintained, but everything was very dated. The AC smelled old and stuffy and shower wouldn’t get warmer than lukewarm.

The room is clean and comfortable. Clients and staff are very noisy in the hallways speaking very loudly. The refrigerator not working upon arrival (it was turned off). I Turned on by myself. Started working the next day. On the same day of arriving, I have to drink everything warm. The front desk nice.

We did a very late check-in around 00:30am but this was no problem. Quickly received our room keys. Room is clean and spacious. Great bed. The breakfast area is a little small and took some time to wait and get a place to sit. The breakfast offerings are great with plenty choices. Did walk and sit by the pool briefly but didn’t take a swim. All looked well maintained.

Stayed for 4 nights and never once during our stay room has been cleaned including the trash pick up, towels and toilet paper we need to go front desk and ask for them every day. Raised issue with the Facility Manager and have not heard so far. Overall I don’t recommend this property

Mr. Alex went above and beyond to help me secure a room for an extra night on short notice due to weather-related travel delays. The following day, the staff remained just as welcoming, respectful, and understanding of the situation, making my entire stay stress-free and enjoyable. I had an issue the 1st day I arrived and the front desk and onsite manager truly went over and beyond to accommodate me. This place is very clean and the staff is amazing. I booked another trip this month. Lol. Hope to get my same room .

Had a wedding to go to at 5. Check in was at “4pm”. We got there at 3:45 and was told the room “should be ready by 4 and they’ll call me”. Went back in at 4:10 and the room was still not available and nobody could give me an estimated time. I had to get dress for the wedding in the lobby bathroom. I never even received a call that the room was ready, just hoped it was when I returned to the hotel. Never have I ever not checked in at the told time. Personally, it was a total waste of money because I couldn’t even use it for what I primarily needed it for.

We loved the property . When I walked into the lobby and to the front desk, there were 3 people at the front desk. One was on the phone, another was writing, and the 3rd was shuffling l Papers. I stood there without anyone acknowledging me for 3 or 4 minutes. I felt ignored. I started to move away and only then I was spoken to.

I have traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels. Never before have I been harassed by cleaning staff to vacate my room. We were literally packing and tidying up our room at 11am check out time as the insistent knocks on our door by rude cleaning personnel began. The first time I was polite. But every ten minutes hassling us to leave? That’s not how you treat guests. I doubt we’ll be back.

I called in around 10:30 am i asked the guy at the reception if we could stay 30 minutes after 11 am since we woke up little late and my wife and daughter were taken a shower his answer was " no I really can\'t do that " i never experienced something like this before was like wow how rude and disturbing is that? We had to rush to leave the hotel.

We stayed for two days while visiting family in Kendall. The hotel was wonderful. The staff at the front desk was so friendly and professional, The ladies that cleaned our room were fantastic and finally the ladies that took care the breakfast area were so friendly and accomodating. We will be back. Thank you everyone.
