the pool was really nice and refreshing in the evening for hot summers in TX. the spoke with from the staff were really nice especially the young men that checked me in and out. let me know about the deposit that was going to be put on my card and that i would be reimbursed at check out. the price was exactly what i saw online and deposit was credited back same day as check out.

Room was clean for the price, much nicer than hotels in that price range. Recieved my deposit back on card within a few minutes. Pool was actually open, bathroom was clean. Ice machine was close. Was able to park in front of my door about 6 feet away.

Near the Parks mall, near i20 west and east. Lots of traffic but also lots of places to eat and things to do. The wifi is spotty and every piece of grass has huge dog poop over it. Room is just as pictured, good cold AC and water pressure is lovely.

I stayed here on a work trip. My room was clean. It is quiet here and I had no issues. Always room for parking. The staff is very nice. It is an older hotel but it is kept up. I never felt unsafe here. It is walking distance from dining, shopping, etc. Great rates too.

I am so glad I found this place. I was looking for a cheap hotel in the Arlington area and was disappointed to find that most of the choices at that price were abysmal. The reviews for most of them stated that they were dirty and poorly maintained. I ended up staying in a motel that contrary to the reviews had many disappointing issues. Dirty floors, rude and inexperienced employees, sheets with stains and holes, and towels with blood stains and lipstick stains. My work situation required that I stay one more night in the area. Rather than stay in the dump that I had just spent three very uncomfortable nights in, I opted to move to the Highland Inn Arlington instead. Oh, how I wish I had stumbled into this little gem of a bargain the first three nights. It was clean, the employees were very friendly, and my stay was very enjoyable. It's not a fancy place. The rooms are very plain, but clean and well maintained. The pool was also well kept up. The parking lot was well lit up and seemed very safe. The outdoor lighting around the rooms was all blue LED lights which, while it illuminated the area very effectively, did not bleed into the motel rooms at night as is usually the case in many motels. Not only that, but it was in a great location. It sits directly across from a very nice bowling alley and Putt Putt Golf center. It was within easy walking distance of many stores and restaurants, including a Portillos Restaurant which really pleased me. A delightful stay.

Most of the staff is friendly and accomodating but their are a few that need some work on customer service but overall a good experience. The pool is closed although the website doesnt mention that so its been a downfall for the kids.

The property was poorly (if at all) maintained. It smelled weird as soon as we entered the room. The flooring and walls and furniture were damaged. We saw bugs crawling in the room, and there were dog poop and many long nails scattered around the parking lot, which was not well-lit at night. It felt so dirty and unsafe we decided to check-out soon after check-in and find another place to stay the night.

The check-in process was good but staying in the unit was different. I ended up getting bit by bedbugs on my face, hands and stomach. They told me that maybe it was an allergic reaction, but I’ve never had anything happened like this in my life. I asked for a reimbursement only to get denied and I had to go through Hotels.com to get my reimbursement. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this location unless you want to get eaten alive by bed bugs.

Pictures were not what condition of room actually was ! Roaches inside the room. Locks missing. Ac took 4 hours too cool the hot room to 78 degrees. (That was as cold as it got the whole night ) Writing on walls. Towels old and looked like a mechanic used them last. And was a higher price than other cheaper hotels In area.

The amount of people on drugs was absolutely insane. We were harassed and had our door being kicked and window being jiggled by some of these people the last night and had to call 911 and did not get any sleep. We told the hotel this and they did not even blink. The staff (minus the girl there on the first day) were absolutely horrid. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. Stay away.

Do not book a room at this Hotel. At check in, they asked for a deposit and said it was refundable after checkout. I was hesitant but let them charge my card. I checked out the Hotel on Sunday 10/13. I asked the frist desk guy when should i expected my deposit refunded to me. He said my mid week. It is now Friday 10/18 and I still have not received my deposit back. I haved called and called. They seem to not answer.

I had to changed room twice, due to bathroom tub look like a they used it put out cigarettes outlet plugs didn’t work, front door had a paper click holding the doorknob. Second room bathroom had light cigarette stains lol and roaches. I woke up to a roach crawling on my arm And Roaches in the bathroom I complained to the manager Kevin. He has a bad attitude I will taking further action due to roaches in my belongings . Avoid this place

Very disorganized. I would go get breakfast in the morning & i when i would come back my key would not work so i Had to go & tell the office every morning that my key did not want to open my room even tho i had booked it for 3 nights straight. Guy screamed at me that i need to stop trying to open it with my keys or phone in my hand, when clearly i wasn’t doing that. Sheets, pillows & towels were stained. When we first got there the guy that was checking out ahead of me got he’s keys then came back not even 2 minutes later saying he got keys to a room where people were already using it. Then i got keys to a room that wasn’t even cleaned yet. Would not recommend at all.

The lobby was not available for check in. The manager was only focused on my required 30.00 deposit for a simple overnight stay. Rude. Would not tell me when it could be refunded. Poor pillows. A sterile atmosphere. No lobby open, no breakfast. I took 5 pics.

This hotel is as simple as it comes. They say you get what you pay for and in this case it’s the truth. The smell in the room was bad, our fridge was leaking all over the room. There was random people at all hours of the night walking around our room. The location was probably the best part of the stay.

For starters, the listing says that the property is pet friendly, but when we went to check in there were signs everywhere that said “no pets”. When we asked, he hesitated and then said it would be an additional $20 charge but that we could bring him. Fine, whatever. Tried to give us a smoking room after we had booked a non-smoking room and charged us an additional $10 for it. Got our room key but it wouldnt unlock the door. It’s raining, we are exhausted and frustrated. I went back to the office TWICE. To get a new key/help. Both keys failed and he didn’t believe us and came up to try it himself. After 10 mins of waiting outside he moved us to a different room and said if we needed a room key we would have to come back down to the office. There were greasy spots on the bedside tables and condoms by the bed. Stained/burned linens. You can tell they don’t come in to clean after every guest. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast was cereal with no milk or over ripe bananas. “Complimentary breakfast” was a joke. 10/10 do not recommend.

My stay was horrible. Notified them of my two service dogs. Have a copy of paperwork. Half way into my trip they tell me I’m not allowed 2 dogs. I said fine give me til end of my stay and I’ll find some where else. All the dressers had broken drawers the floors had sticky stuff in corners behind headboard and door. No coffee pot no complimentary coffee in lobby cause it was closed 24/7. Come to find out there was another person who had 3 dogs in their room. And what grass is around is full of dog poop so bad my dogs wouldn’t even go in the grass. And one of the employee/ family members everyday puts spoiled meat out by the dumpster for a cat and a dog that lives out there all I seen was a cat once. I was there for 6 nights.
