Boutique hotel upgraded in downtown. Worth the costvof the room but hotel amenities are limited to necessities. No in house restaurant but close to restaurants and entertainment.

This is a boutique hotel in an historic building. The building has its charm and quirks , which makes it a typical boutique hotel. We booked a grand suite because I like to cook . I bring all my equipment, but I have been told they have kitchen equipment if you request it. We loved the new mural.

Friendly staff welcomed us and took care of us during our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely furnished. Breakfast as simple and overlooked a pleasant courtyard. Greenville was more rundown than I expected, but we felt safe on our walks to the levee and to St. Joseph Catholic Church. A nice restaurant close by would have made it a perfect visit.

The room I requested was supposed to be handicapped accessible, however, the bathroom was not. The shower head was unreachable, the base of the shower entrance was too high for my wheelchair to roll over and not flexible and only one unreachable hand handle that was not adequate for anyone who is disabled. Will never stay at this property. The room was moldy and had an odor.

We had a grand suite for the Easter Weekend and prepared an Easter supper in the suite. It has a fridge, a cooktop, a microwave and good counter space. What we didn’t like was a high school prom taking place on the Saturday before Easter and all the carrying on ( motors racing, taking photos in the parking lot and all around, etc. ) all into the Easter Sunday. School officials, Really ! A religious holiday for at least two religions! However, we did get sleep Sunday night, but they carried on all during the day and I felt it wasn’t safe to use the courtyard. I smelled weed several times. Keep in mind it was outside the property. Where were the police?

This hotel is amazing, we loved staying there. The room was large and comfortable! We had the deluxe suite and it was exactly like the pictures. If you stay here don’t miss dinner at the Downtown Grill that’s right down the street…it’s totally worth it! *** FYI this is a non profit hotel, all money goes towards the downtown renovation…. Awesome hotel and a good cause!

This place is really nice on the outside and in common areas. The rooms need some TLC but the suite is huge; like really huge. Breakfast could use some meat but it’s nice and safe considering Greenville only has a few nice hotels.

The staff allowed an extremely noisy and disruptive party until 2am. The hotel was almost empty, yet the party was booked adjacent to and accross from oir room. We will not stay there again.

The entire experience was very enjoyable and comfortable, especially after arrival from the long drive from our hometown. The staff helped us to find just the right restaurant for our evening dining and again for lunch after checkout! My wife and I were rested for our long drive home. We would do this again, and will when the opportunity comes!

I went home for my uncle's funeral. Myself and several family members stayed at Hotel 27. Evert employee from the check in clerk to the housekeepers were extremely nice and accomdating. I am a regular at Hotel 27 however, all of my family members were glad thwy stayed there.

The hotel itself is fine, the nightclub next door is busy, lots of noise on the street, this review is from 12:59am Friday morning, January 12 2024, had to call police to report the noise…. Awake since 11pm, bass noise ongoing….

This is an older hotel trying to help revitalize a dying downtown area. It’s adequate except the continental breakfast was rather sad. Cereals children might want but shouldn’t eat, a tiny pancake machine and mini muffins with some fruit. The lighting was inadequate too. But the towels were almost luxurious compared to other inexpensive hotels.
