WARNING! CHECK ROOM BEFOREHAND. Renovations in progress - No breakfast, no exercise room, parking blocked to half the rooms due to building materials, and some construction noise during daytime working hours. No price discounts though, just deflection & excuses. HOWEVER..., renovated rooms are all NEW & clean, with laminate hatdwood floors! That's the only plus. If i was given an OLD room, I would have gone elsewhere (like one in my party did). Hotel looks like older style, with smallish rooms. So I think price is too high at $101 total per night. The owner/manager husband & wife couple are very friendly, responsive, and egar to please. Plus, no Prim & Fortniite noise like other reviewers mentioned! Yea!!!

Very poor property condition. On the exterior, I would say the property is acceptable even thought the lighted sign announcing the property appears to have been hit and was laying down. The lobby of the property was dark, with lots of papers laying around and had an obvious odor. The desk manager checked me in while in his bare feet. The breakfast area was in similar condition and not a place where I would even consider eating. The hotel rooms were again very dark and had a “musty” smell. Maybe because mgt elected not to run the air conditioning when unoccupied. The bathroom was a disaster. Outdated fixtures, shower rod that was broken, toilet that was not ADA compliment and shower area that was terrible and needed to be replaced. Also, the toilet paper holder not secured to the wall. The bedding appears to be new and clean. Also the security lock for the exterior door was broken. This is certainly NOT a property to bring a family too. I would have expected more from a Wyndham property. We will never stay here again

Old worn property, grass over grown parts of Air conditioning strewn about stairs . Two picnic tables with propane burners ( not bbq ) and garbage around them. When clerk was ask question about breakfast she yelled cereal milk thats it

When we arrived, there was no one to check us in. We rang the bell. Twice. Still nothing. So i called on the phone. It rang there, but no one answered. About a minute later, someone finally showed up. The lobby looked like a war zone, as it was apparently the staging area for the renovations that are in progress here, which was also obvious from the construction materials and equipment in the parking lot. But our room was very nice, newly remodeled, new tub, bathroom fixtures, etc. So in the end, it was a good experience.

Room was clean. Had to pay an extra $10 to check in an hour early even though there were numerous rooms available as the hotel was almost completely empty. Hotel was been renovated as there was construction equipment and debris scattered all over the parking lot and inside the lobby area. Only hotel in the area do it was a place to lay your head for a night.

Very run down property. Works if you just need a place to sleep but wasn’t nice by any means. Faucet in the tub leaked, things were broken and rundown. Overall would rather drive further than stay there

Older property in desperate need of modernization. Was told at check-in breakfast would be at 6:30am. We arrived at that time dark lobby, no lights on and no breakfast.

Bed was comfortable and shower hot other than that it was a disaster. Tiny thin towels. Shower curtain falling off the wall. Promised breakfast was stale cereal or a waffle. Condition of entire property was appalling. Never again.

Manager was so accommodating to give me a room I had had before. No reason for lobby to still be closed!

Only property listed near our destination that accepted pets. Fridge in room was more than adequate in size. Bathroom door was coming a part. Towels were stained, dingy, and fraying from wear. Toilet seat was in poor condition. Alarm clock radio was missing several parts and should not have been in the room. Door to the room which went straight outside did not have a security lock. Website stated that there was a free breakfast item and there was not. Staff entered our room when the Do Not Disturb sign was hanging on the door. Our room keys were deactivated prior to check out time. One night someone in the parking lot was blowing a car horn repeatedly in the middle of the night. We will not be returning.

I had very loud people above me who were blasting music and jumping on the floor one night until 1:30am which shook everything in my room. Every night that I was there they blasted music until around midnight which was difficult to listen to. I stayed for 5 days and beds weren't changed at all. Room did have fridge that worked well which was great.

I loved this wonderfully clean hotel. The room was comfortable, and the internet had no interruption. I’ve already reserved a room here for my next trip to the area in June!

I booked a single non smoking King. I was placed in a queen. When I tried to speak with the front desk, no one was there for hours. When I checked out, I asked about it. He said since I was alone he put me in a queen. He said he did that because being I was alone he didn’t think I wanted a King. He said did you want a King. Told him I booked a king therefore I wanted one. Regardless, not good customer service. Ice machine was filthy with flys. The towels were not the cleanest nor the bed sheets. It was fine just to have a place to sleep.

I booked a room with breakfast included. There was no breakfast available because of remodeling. I inquired about getting the room at the price of a room that didn’t include breakfast and I was told that I had to contact Expedia. Also my room’s air conditioning unit was very noisy and loud. I had to wear my air buds with noise reduction to sleep. Over all the room was sufficient. I would like to have known that the hotel was being renovated and that breakfast was not available, especially since I booked a higher price room that included breakfast. I would have rented the room that did not include breakfast at the lesser rate. That is the only complaint I have with Expedia.

Easy check in, room was quiet, ac was very quiet

The property look like it a run down. The restroom shower doesn’t work well. Look very dirty. They didn’t even clean my room while I was out venturing atlanta. Have to go to the office late at night to ask for towels. Overall it ok.

Did not use the gym. The bed was too firm for me and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut. The refrigerator was great. The AC worked fine. The staff was helpful.

At checkin they weren’t friendly or welcoming. Quite strange. Room was old, outdated. The room still has carpet; needs desperately an update and upgrade. Towels were thin and small. Staff came into room each day to refresh towels (a positive) but turned off the air completely making the room stifling when we arrived back in the evening. The worst part was the “breakfast.” They need to take that off the room ad. There were two kinds of cereal (one unlabeled - maybe corn flakes, and one super sweet cereal - fruit loops with the front of the box taped to the container), old coffee, milk, apple and orange juice. That is not breakfast. It takes no effort to have fruit, yogurt, pastries, hard boiled eggs, etc at a bare minimum. Usually breakfast entails something hot like sausage and eggs or biscuits and bacon. A waffle maker could be present. Or a toaster and toast. Their effort was minimal and ridiculous. Lastly, they weren’t present at the desk much. I never saw the employees in the mornings. So good luck if you have any issues or would like to request they not turn off the air conditioning. (We turned down the fan and turned the temp up and they still turned it off.) Royston is a small town, and there is one other option for overnight stays in town. These folks clearly know it. Bare minimum describes their effort in this business. If I didn’t have important business in town periodically, I’d never ever stay here again. Avoid if you can.

I got a room at this hotel for my son for three nights during the hurricane. It was such an awful place that he did not feel safe or comfortable staying there whatsoever. He left after one night, and they did not refund the other two nights, even though they said they would.

The room with a king-sized bed I booked thw night before through the website wasnt actually available at check-in, and the cleanliness & quality of the rooms isnt always equal. Staff was real helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was probably the low point - lacking in options and cleanliness. I guess you get what you pay for...
