Great but no parking

We spent little time in the hotel, however the time spent was enjoyable. The rooftop terrace was a nice feature. The free breakfast was of good quality. Indeed, the accommodations were fantastic. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire premises giving us a comfortable, worry-free experience. The beds and pillows were outstanding. The location was also awesome!

This is our second staying at this property. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and “at home”. Rooms are extremely quiet and clean. Loved the reduced parking rate, however, they would not accept us due to having a standard size pickup truck so we had to use a different garage and pay their rate.

had an excellent stay at the hotel I would have given it five stars, except for the fact that the hotel does not have enough elevators for the size of the place. There were times where it could take 8 to 10 minutes to get downstairs from a high floor. They need double the amount of elevators. also logistically, the breakfast was very difficult. Too many people into too small of a place. Those were my only complaints and with those, I would still stay there again.

Elevators were nightmarish. One of them not working held things up tremendously. We had to wait 2-4 times every time we used them. It took me 30 minutes to get down from the 25th floor. Great location and very nice staff though.

Excellent Location. Right in the heart of Times Square. Subway across the street. Never felt unsafe. We didn't have any issues with breakfast and easily found a table to sit at every morning. The beds were comfortable—lots of street noise, but no complaints. Anyone complaining about noise shouldn't even be staying at Times Square. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the elevator situation in the hotel. Extremely horrible. We were on 15th floor. One of the elevators didn't work 2 nights out of 3 we stayed there. We literally had to wait 15 minutes every time. Sometimes it felt the elevator had a mind of its own. It would reach to first floor and then, without opening, would head straight back up. The staff was never bothered by the long lines at the elevators or even concerned. Probably the elevator is the only reason I might not return.

Excellent quality throughout. They were so busy we had to walk down 18 flights of stairs each morning for breakfast because they elevators were so full, by the time they came to our floor, it didn’t even stop. We didnt mind, for us... down 18 floors was easy. We had no issues going up in the elevator. The staff here are exceptional and will definitely stay again.

Nice property. Convenient location next to Times square. Roof top observation was closed which was a negative also once in 2 days room service are slight negatives. But pretty good overall

The elevators were too slow, and their algorithms are not good for people stayi g on higher floors, we had to wait 10 minutes for an elevator, while all 3 are working, and very fast to move. This is ridiculous...

Convenient to Broadway and surrounding area. Self parking available fairly close to the hotel, easily walkable after drop off.

The Hotel is clean from lobby, elevator and to the room. Staff are politely and helpful. Hotel is family friendly and the best is the free breakfast will help you to get energized in the morning.

Very clean and seemed new.

The check in staff was nice. You cannot really see anything special in the city view room and the roof top view area was closed. Powder eggs at breakfast. But the craziest thing was that there was a pair of underwear behind the toilet in our room at check-in. It makes you concern about the cleanliness of the room

Upon check in the room was not clean. It took 3 days and multiple calls to the front desk to get the room cleaned.

I stayed from Dec 29, 2014 to Jan 1, 2025. The room was very dirty, blonde hair, trash on the floor, pills, extreme dust... The staff was very indifferent to helping... I speak Spanish... The day I went down for toothpaste, Mr. Mike started singing a Cuban song in Spanish. I appreciate his song, I return his mockery. The hotel was in a very good location and I liked the breakfast.

Five night stay in a city view room on the 30th floor. Room was clean and spacious but sleeping conditions were not good, with noticeable noise from the AC and both light and sound disturbance from the street, even on 30th floor. I'm not a light sleeper but I had to use earplugs and an eye mask, so if you're a light sleeper beware! Also, be prepared for long waits for the elevators, especially around breakfast time and in the evening, with 5+ minutes wait not uncommon. Overall, a solid stay, but a few comfort issues to be aware of.

Did not like that there was no fridge or microwave in the room! The picture and list of amenities showed there would be. We did call for a fridge and got one brought to us quickly. However, we were on the 13th floor and had to go to lobby to microwave our food often.

Busy area, but very comfortable and quiet up on higher floor

3 of us stayed in a 2 bed queen room. We each had a carry on and a bag there was plenty of room. The closet is on the smaller side. The room does have a fridge. We were on the 5th floor and had a view of the street. The bathroom has a sliding barn door so you can hear everything that goes on in the bathroom. The staff was very nice and they even text me a few times throughout my 2 night stay which was very a very thoughtful touch.

Property is expensive but is worthy of it... Rooms are decent (i mean, not very small as in other hotels in Manhattan), wonderful bedding, fast lifts, good breakfast and awesome location. If only, the staff at reception can allocate room at 1 pm at least for those guests coming from long journeys, it will be a godly help and further strengthen the image of hotel. Thanks

The transportation is pretty convenient, but room is quite small

One lift was out of action for most of our stay which meant long queues to get too our room. Lobby area was very small which also meant it was hectic at times. Room was good, breakfast was adequate, if you aren't keen on waffles the range is quite limited. Friendly staff and a great location, it even on the 28th floor the street noise at night, in particular cars and sirens was quite loud.

Room is much bigger than Hampton Inn New York Times Square

I accidentally locked myself out of room and my purse and ID was still in room … I used the phone in hallway to contact the front desk … they insisted I come down to the front desk and at this property you pretty much need a room key to get an elevator or stairways to get to the lobby, which made it virtually impossible so I had to exit the building on the street and come back in the lobby … That was just ridiculous.. I was not able to prove who I was at front desk because my purse with id was in my room. Lazy terrible customer service from morning staff.

Fine hotel. Breakfast area is always packed but decent choices. The service was not always great. The staff is always polite, never rude but they did not clean when they said they would. Also, they took three calls to send towels to the room. They were apologetic but I would have offered more. They offered nothing but apologies. There were a few issues with the elevators, usually at night when they lock guests out of one of the elevators so staff only could use it.

Excessive wait time for the room to be ready. Almost 2 hours after the 3 pm that they promised. And, they told us to keep checking back every 30 minutes. Front desk staff was probably the most unhelpful that I have ever experienced at a hotel. Heating and air system was terrible.

Every single member of the staff (including the front desk, managers, and even the security guard) were so accommodating and just overall so nice to us during our stay at the Hampton Inn. The hospitality was beyond warm and I will definitely be staying here again when I'm back in New York. Located right next to Times Square too, it's an incredibly convenient place to stay.

Perfect location for a New York City vacation!! Professional, friendly staff! Clean, quiet rooms. Free breakfast. Snack market. Daily texts reminding us that they were available to answer any questions or assist with anything we might need! They even arranged a driver to take us to the airport the morning of our departure!

I will definitely be back ! From the front desk all the way to check out I had a wonderful experience. When I came back from my walk around Times Square I was created with a hello, how are you ? Do you need anything? I could not believe how kind the staff was ! This will be my got to when I visit the Theater district in NYC! Thank you everyone at Hampton ! From Nayeli at the front desk who was a sweet young lady to the manager who greeted me at the end of the day!!

Check-in was smooth despite not having the connecting rooms when I initially booked our rooms. Sonnie was quick to resolve the issue and arranged to have rooms next to each other on the same floor. When it was time to leave, Eddie and Joseph were very helpful with arranging ground transportation for our large group to Newark.

Great location. Front Desk Staff was fantastic; however we had no hot water and the staff member that came to our room to check was rude and condescending. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Room we selected was not ready so we got moved to another room… room was small!

The staff at this property was noteworthy for their excellence! Everyone we met was friendly, and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They were super accommodating of my daughter's service dog, and the gentleman who checked our bags was exceptional. I highly reccomend this property!

I loved this hotel and would stay again for sure. It's greatest strength is it's staff, who are ALL friendly, engaged and showed that they really care about me as a person not just some nameless out-of-towner. I trust them. My great experience started with Genesis at the reception desk. She made me feel welcome. It continued with Eddie who made me feel that he'll take care of whatever problems or questions I had. I really warmed up to him and we found we both had family with the same unusual name. Isaiah really connected with me. He was so warm and friendly that I truly felt like I belonged there. We talked about our family and found that we had shared philosophies about family life. I wish him the best for his upcoming marriage. The kitchen staff was vigilant. Rather than simply go about their tasks, they watched out for guests who looked like they needed help. I did and they demonstrated a willingness and ability to know how to make me feel comfortable (and well fed). Kimberly and 2x Michaels were also very helpful at the receptionist desk and Joseph helped me feel safe leaving my bags in storage for later pickup after I checked out. Even Amy and AT who were trying to sell me a package were terrific. If I knew I was going to travel to any of the places on their list in the next year, I definitely would have purchased it. I truly enjoyed my experience at the Hampton inn on 41st street in Manhattan and plan to stay there again next time I'm in the city, whenever that might be

I liked that it was right by broadway theaters, port authority, and bryant park. A great spot to be in the middle of everything! Heat worked, tv worked, no issues!

Great location

This was the perfect hotel for enjoying New York City's Times Square and Broadway shows, as its within walking distance of the theaters, the amazing restaurants of Hells Kitchen, and has easy subway access. Best part is that its far enough away that its quiet at night while still feeling safe.

We had a nice stay. Close to the bus terminal, walkable to Broadway shows and a variety of dining options.

Cons: Breakfast and entrance areas are so crowded and not accommodating, too many people during breakfast time, can't even get anything with long lines. Elevators very slow to respond and small for more than5 people. Facility and rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly, location is perfect.

I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel during our stay in NYC. I left off 1 star for the breakfast because the eggs and sausage were cold but it was an otherwise perfect stay. Coffee was always hot.

Nice property, but they need a bigger breakfast area. The place was packed no matter what time we went and you had to stalk tables in order to sit down. Elevators were an issue during rush hours, so make a plan. Other than that we would stay here again.

We had an amazing experience! The location was fabulous and walkable. The staff was great and the breakfast was perfect for the family. The room was super clean and quite large for NYC. We will definitely be back next year! Can't wait.

Rooms were spacious, location very convenient. But the breakfast experience was terrible. It was cramped, overcrowded. Worst part is that they ran out of food items quite quickly on a consistent basis. Breakfast quality itself was sub par.

I really like staying in the Time Square area of Manhattan and Hampton Inn was an ideal location, close to transportations, dining, entertainment, ect. Staff were very nice and hotel/rooms were very clean. Some improvements are needed for breakfast as it is quite basic. I will definitely come back.
