Loved that we were so close to the grand central terminal. The view from our room was not the best but we could see a part of the Chrysler building from our window. Despite the room being small it was still a decent size and easy to get around. Water pressure was great in the shower. They provided free bakery items and coffee in the mornings. Didn’t have any issues with noise. No gym on the property they partner with a gym a couple blocks away didn’t love that

Overall good experience, convenient location and clean room. The downside is that the elevator is a bit old and slow. Also the door is very close to the elevator so you can hear the sound of elevator every morning.

Amanda at the concierge desk is a wonderful person. She along with the rest of the staff are accommodating, welcoming, and kind people. The hotel is clean, parking is convenient across the street, located just a short walk to Times Square, lots of eateries and Bryant Park is just around the corner for a good cup of Joe in the park.

I needed to be near Bryant park for a lecture and this was the perfect location ! Extremely walkable to the park as well as Grand Central. Hotel was fantastic, parking was super easy ( next door as well as across the street. Would highly recommend Mulligans pub around the corner as well.

The staff made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. Our room was perfect for the few days we were spending in the city. Parking was convenient and restaurants were easily accessible. It was also nice to return from a long day in the city to a kitchenette with drinks and snacks. We will definitely be back.

I loved staying at Pestana Park Ave! The receptionists were very attentive and kind. The room and the bathroom were very well cleaned. I've been to other hotels in NY, and usually it's smaller than this hotel and there are molds in the showerbooth. I'm very pleased and wish to visit again.

First time staying here and needed something convenient to Grand Central and the UN for work. Great location, easily walkable, excellent restaurants in any direction, and near attractions like the Met and Central Park. Highly recommend for a short stay. Rooms are NYC size, but very clean, and well designed. Will stay here again and soon.

Great location and excellent service by the friendly people at the front desk. The only downside was the lack of space in the room for bigger suitcases. We where traveling as a couple so no major problem for us sharing space but with two big suitcases we needed to do some thinking on the logistics!

While the space was compact, it was NOT uncomfortable. The design of the room is very intentional in using all space efficiently and conveniently. The bed was comfortable. The environment was quiet. The shower head was AMAZING - making it really hard to come back to our shower at home. It was lovely to have a water dispenser as well as coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. The continental breakfast was not expected but turned out to be very convenient for us. There are MANY places to eat within one block. The proximity to Grand Central Station was very convenient. The staff was outstanding. We would definitely return to this property!

It is ideally located for all main attractions. Staff were really friendly. The room is small but the view was amazing. We were on the 25th floor with a balcony. The free pastries in the morning and coffee and water on tap was a lovely surprise.

Excellent location. Very cute. HOWEVER, very small. To put into context, I was unable to fully open out my suitcase anywhere on the floor in the room. The designers maximized the space of the room, and the room is very cute. But very little space and I felt a bit catfished. Also super comfy bed. Also GREAT location - close to Bryant Pk., Grand Central and Times Sq.

I had a mixed experience at the Pestana Park Avenue that I think future guests should be aware of, especially those traveling with companions or pets. The space felt cramped with three of us (including our four-legged family member), and it was difficult to move around comfortably or store our belongings. The thermostat in my room was broken and the 90-degree heat wouldn’t turn off. The staff at first gave excuses (“we’re transitioning from winter heating —> summer cooling”). They then realized the condition was unlivable and tried to fix it. And after too long waiting, they finally moved me to another room. The kicker was I had to pay the full ~$500 price booked through Orbitz for this bad night. I was told by staff to email the hotel manager, which I did. But her email bounced back! Too much effort for too much money and too little service.

This hotel was incredibly convenient for coming into the city via Grand Central (google maps says 7min walk but it really is less than 5). It is easily walkable to anything in the Times Square/Bryant Park area and there are tons of places to eat/drink there. We extra appreciated the complimentary bottle of VOS water and how friendly and helpful the staff was. The room was small, but this is expected in NYC. The only downfall is it seems they do not allow for any early check-in's and so there is a mass rush (in a very tiny lobby with only one computer and staff member) to check everyone in at exactly 3pm. This gave us a bit of a heart attack trying to check in and still have time to change and make a 4pm reservation, but if we to stay again we would plan around this now that we know. Overall, we would definitely stay here again if the price was right.

We stayed at Pestana Park for 5 nights in May and it was an amazing choice to explore the city. The hotel itself was clean and the room had everything you need. It’s a short walk to Grand Central and midtown, but on a quiet and safe street. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.
We stayed at Pestana Park for 5 nights in May and it was an amazing choice to explore the city. The hotel itself was clean and the room had everything you need. It’s a short walk to Grand Central and midtown, but on a quiet and safe street. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

First time staying here and needed something convenient to Grand Central and the UN for work. Great location, easily walkable, excellent restaurants in any direction, and near attractions like the Met and Central Park. Highly recommend for a short stay. Rooms are NYC size, but very clean, and well designed. Will stay here again and soon.

I needed to be near Bryant park for a lecture and this was the perfect location ! Extremely walkable to the park as well as Grand Central. Hotel was fantastic, parking was super easy ( next door as well as across the street. Would highly recommend Mulligans pub around the corner as well.

I was very happy with my stay. Less than a 5 minute walk to Grand Central. Shopping in Herald Square. Many dining options. The room was small but VERY clean. The staff was incredibly friendly.

This hotel was such a little gem! The rooms are small but very quaint, nicely decorated and well laid out. They are equipped with nespresso coffee and have a mini bar. The morning breakfast was just right and they offered GF bagels! The quality of the coffee was very good as well. I will be sure to stay again!

It is a small room but it is very clean and you're not in your room much in NYC. Bunk beds were comfortable. Pastries and coffee were excellent. Customer service was terrific. Very friendly.

While the space was compact, it was NOT uncomfortable. The design of the room is very intentional in using all space efficiently and conveniently. The bed was comfortable. The environment was quiet. The shower head was AMAZING - making it really hard to come back to our shower at home. It was lovely to have a water dispenser as well as coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. The continental breakfast was not expected but turned out to be very convenient for us. There are MANY places to eat within one block. The proximity to Grand Central Station was very convenient. The staff was outstanding. We would definitely return to this property!

When you walk in, the scent is inviting. Staff was very helpful with our requests. Room was clean and nice, but smaller than we thought. Location was great and the continental breakfast was a plus. We would definitely book again on our next visit.

Location was everything. The front desk staff at night was very friendly. Unfortunately the room was not as nice as the property. Our towels were dirty and had stains. The conditioner in the bathroom was full of water and the cap didn't work. We were unable to call the front desk due to the phone not working in the room. I tried to tell the staff about the towels and she asked what I would like her to do. (Clean towels would be great). Parking was fairly seamless. It was $50 for 24h at a lot that was just a block over.

The Pestana is a great budget option in New York near Grand Central. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and I appreciated the sachets of lavender they left on the bed. I'd definitely stay here again, as I travel a lot and hotel prices add up! :)

The room was clean but rather small (which I was aware of before my stay). Complimentary coffee etc was a nice gesture in the area behind reception but it was a shame that the coffeee machine was out of action for two days of my four day stay. The hotel is in a good position for the Grand Central railway station and Times Square is oinly a 20 minute walk away.
