We stayed here for one night and were very impressed. We made use of the Leisure Centre. Make sure you book The Spa if you want to use their facilities. The Lakeside Bar area was very nice with a vast selection of spirits including alcohol free cocktails and bottled beer/cider. We went to the “Allo Allo” dining experience which was fab. We had a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, then woke up and had a buffet Full English breakfast which also had a croissants gluten free muffins fruit and yoghurt. We would highly recommend this place.

Everything was great during my stay. However, if the swimming pool facility is in the same building hotel instead of 5 mins walk outside to go to the next door Health & Leisure Club would be a lot better. Also, access to some spa facilities by the hotel customers would be great.

Loved my stay, comfortable room and the telescope was such an awesome surprise! The spa experience was brilliant although had to book separately. Hotel's leisure facilities were ok, nothing outstanding but with the spa just next to it, no room for complaints. The only thing I didn't like was the food. Breakfast was so limited and basic, way below 5*. Restaurant food was not brilliant either. Had lunch and dinner at Bertram's, but not impressed. Chicken was dry and inedible. In all fairness service was excellent and they asked if I wanted a replacement for no additional charge. Beautiful garden and surroundings. All in all great experience and close to Manchester. I'd definitely visit again!

Lovely room with country aspect. Very comfortable bed. Warm, clean and quiet. Well equipped gym. Superb meal at Bertram's restaurant Excellent gym and pool included in stay. Spa looked wonderful but did not have time to try this

The staff were excellent m. However, the leisure facilities particularly the sauna was far too small and very crowded. I never got a chance to use it. Which was a shame as that was one of the main reasons why we booked the hotel.

We had a fab time here. The staff were second to none. The food was superb. It wasn't mis sold. However, access to the spa (without paying so much extra) would have been a nice touch. Maybe even a sizeable discount. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Arrived early as we planned on coming for a spa weekend. Wasn’t told at time of booking that you would have to pre book the spa, which was now full, so decided to go for some lunch, only to be told that was full and you have to pre book that either, so ended up leaving as without a spa or anywhere to get lunch, it was pointless staying.

Last minute booking for me and my hubby - booked a suite which was great value for money with the extras which were complimentary snacks and drinks and chocolates great touch - super huge room and comfy topper bed - couple of issues with bath not emptying and girgling in the tap waste - easily fixed - and room was directly above venue and a wedding on sousic until 1230 maybe 1pm ... Asked at reception if any suites further down and told these are for the bride and other guests - to me it would make sense for them to have the suites above the venue as it's their do so they won't be bothered about noise! A lot to pay when we couldn't get to sleep until after 1pm and music banging all night Is there any suite rooms we can book for future or are they all subject to the noise ? Sunday lunch was delicious highly recommend - all staff are attentive kind and happy to serve Will be back again if I can get a quieter suite !

Fabulous overnight stay at Crow Wood Hotel & Spa, the hotel and grounds on the drive up were very well presented which carried on into the hotel....Rooms were large and spotlessly clean, Food was excellent as was the breakfast buffet. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

Very disappointed with our bedroom. I didn’t request a disabled room and yet I ended up with one. Lighting in room was too dark and impossible to see to dry your hair. Shower was cold ( reported). Heating didn’t appear to work and all in all a very disappointing experience

Excellent stay. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and the staffs at the reception were very professional, polite and resolved all our concerns and queries. The environment was clean , room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We ate at the Wilfred's restaurant , bertram and the lounge, food was top notch to all of them👌 . Thumps up to all the chiefs there. The security man, Roy was exceptional, very friendly, funny and always willing to help with information. We have enjoyed our stay so much and we will definitely come back .

Another fantastic stay at the Crow Wood. Everything is top class, from the amazing in-room facilities and super comfortable beds to the stunning location. Enjoy the wonderful country walks before tucking into the great buffet style breakfast. Room 361 has fabulous views of Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside.

It was a nice hotel and service is generally very good. Felt like northern hospitality. Like how they don't charge service charge as standard on things like restaurant service. Rooms are quite spacious but views could be better. No mini fridge and no slippers as standard which I found surprising for a 5* hotel. Disappointed Bertams restaurant was closed when we visited so only had 2 options available. The setting is secluded which is very nice. Breakfast was OK...pretty standard but not remarkable as a lot of extras cost money. All in all 4 star as nothing was disappointing...but I expected more from a 5* hotel. 5* to me means the place would knock my socks off and delight me. But it was a decent effort.

The rooms are amazing, the desk staff are also amazing but the restaurant and bar staff could do with some extra training. I stayed in the hotel for a total of 10 nights, going to the breakfast every morning. Each morning the hostess at the breakfast would ask us the same robotic questions, including if we’d eaten there before. They should recognize guests that are there for a longer stay and say welcome back. Also not sure why you have to show your room card for every single round of drinks. Again some of the staff are just robotic. It doesn’t make you feel welcome. Overall a really amazing hotel, just wish some of the staff would pay a little more attention to their guests.

Other than the fact that this place is stunning, it has the loveliest most accommodating and professional staff. They have made our stay! So helpful and patient, from the staff at the front seat to the staff at the spa and gym and at the Lounge restaurant- everyone was amazing! They have helped us so much and we are grateful for everything they have done for us!

Great hotel. Perfect location for peace and tranquility. The staff are a credit to this hotel, they were all extremely polite and helpful. All areas were clean and beautifully presented, and the gardens very well kept. Our room was lovely and clean, the towels were so fluffy, the TempleSpa complimentary toiletries were an added bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely excellent from start to finish. All staff exemplary, throughout the resort. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the lake, comfortable, very clean Woodland spa, breathtaking. Wilfred's restaurant was delicious.

We stayed for four days to celebrate our Anniversary. Having stayed there before, the hotel was as magnificent as we remembered . Breakfast was amazing, the room was very spacious, food was delicious in all 3 restaurants and drinks were fabulous. Highly recommended if you wish luxurious accomodation in the middle of green fields.

My stay was very comfortable, room was cosey and bed was very comfortable. I also used the gym, which was also very good and had everything I needed. Service at the Lounge was very good and food was excellent.

We have stayed at the Crow Wood a couple of times and both times we have had a fabulous time. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are no drawers for storage but you can make use of the bedside units. The food was amazing. We had a New Years Eve party there and the food was hot. 5 courses and was spectacular. The breakfast is buffet style and was hot and fresh and plentiful. An amazing night all round.
