The property from the outside was decent for a motel. I didn’t realize it was a motel. The front desk was behind glass. That didn’t give me comfort that it was a nice part of town. It was fully gated which confirmed it was not in a nice part of town. The room look clean. A wall had something splattered on it that wasn’t cleaned. The bathroom had paint falling off the ceiling. There was black mold all over the bathroom. There were stains on the best sheets. I only stayed one night of a 3 night stay. I would have gotten a different hotel the first night. It was too late to change. Disappointing from what was displayed on line.

This is a nice property. It is very typical of a family owned, renovated hotel that has seen some age. It is well priced for it's condition and age and minimal amenities. Very good for a one night stay on the way to somewhere else. The breakfast was coffee, juice and some packaged goods.

While it was off a major thoroughfare the location was near a mix of residential properties (behind the location) and business (next door). Check in was easy and the staff member was polite. The room was clean and I like the fact that it did not have carpet. The parking lot was full when I check out early in the morning. Overall a decent place.

Hotel Blue is like a modern mom-and-pop. It reminds me of a value knock-off of Hotel Indigo, in fact. (Coincidental? I think not!) The design and furnishings are up-to-date, our bed was comfortable, and the room was clean (no carpet). The staffer who checked us in was polite and helpful. If you're averse to noise, choose a room on the second floor on the end away from the interstate (warning: no elevator) and run the fan on the heating/AC unit or a white noise app. We would definitely stay there again on a future trip to the area.

The 8.2 rating is an absolute LIE! Walked into the room and we were me with a horrible stench. Had to spray febreeze all over the room. Opened the mini fridge, which was not working properly and it smelled of rotten/spoiled food. Restroom was dirty, hairs all over the floor. Walls are paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING the next room is doing! This establishment has no business charging what they do per night. If you’re looking for a sketchy and dirty hotel this is the one! Rating should be -8.2

The reviews were good so we booked the room. We weren’t expecting anything fancy, but I guess I was at least expecting clean and comfortable. Our first room wasn’t clean at all, sticky floors and unclean counters. There was an Unidentified bug on the wall. They gave us a new room and the new one was okay, but I agree with the other review that theres a chemical smell to the rooms that I didn’t like. Also, this is NOT in the Woodlands. It’s in a sketchy area, so that was misleading. We cancelled our second night and stayed somewhere else. The staff that checked us in was nice, other than that we weren’t fans of this hotel.

This was as advertised. A budget hotel with nice sized room and comfortable bed. Very clean and met my needs perfectly including good Wi-Fi. Never had to wait for service even though our checkin the first night was at 2am

I was staying at this hotel by myself. Upon check in, I was asked if it was me staying. When I said yes, the guy checking me in pointed to a room behind the counter and said he had a room where the key didn't work. He said he'd have to open the door for me every time himself. I was very creeped out and told the guy that would not be happening. I did get another room with a key, but I was worried all night that someone was going to come in my room. If I could've canceled my reservation without paying I would have.

The only reason I’m giving this place a 1 star is because I was greeted nicely when I checked in but there are some details that really need attention. The TV wasn’t working so I called front office and I was told someone would fix it in about an hour, nobody came. The next day I went downstairs and told another lady about the TV issue, she sent a guy that just messed with the control for about 5 minutes then said he would be back in 10 minutes and never came back. Not even a phone call to apologize or say they wouldn’t be able to do anything. So the whole weekend no TV…then you were able to see debris on the floor and hair in the sink and the shower. The sink was clogged and I didn’t even bother to ask to get that fixed because well they couldn’t even deal with the TV. I wont be staying in this hotel again you really do get what you pay for

The guy that was working the desk was new and kept staring at my ID like it was a fake one. Took him about 20-30 min to check us in. He couldn’t find my reservation he said. Besides that the place was clean. The only thing is the doors did not have a brush guard on the bottom of them so unwanted bugs would make it into our room.

I used my reward points to book Hotel Blue. The total cost of the hotel was $86.94. After I claimed my points, I was supposed to owe the hotel $1.38 out of pocket. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told I owed the full &86.94. I showed my confirmation email and receipt to the receptionist, but he still said I owed the full amount. I called hotels.com after 10 minutes of trying to find a phone number on the app. During my 40 minute conversation with the hotels.com employee, he tried calling the hotel twice but said the call was dropped. I ended up having to pay the full amount to the hotel with the promise from hotels.com that I would get my points back and get a refund. It has been a week and my points have not been restored nor have I received a refund.

Everything was great EXCEPT for the fridge, ice/water machine and especially the breakfast. For the amount I paid for the room, cold coffee, empty apple and orange juice tanks, unripe fruit and not even cereal boxes or milk is a complete joke. Take note fellow consumers, that’s what happens when we let foreigners with low standards manage American businesses... 😒

Room was clean and comfortable enough. No carpeting but that means cleaner floors. Staff was nice. My biggest complaint is location. The traffic is noisy and can be heard most of the day and night. The free breakfast is only packaged sweets. Not that long ago, free breakfast at hotels in a similar price range meant waffle makers, yogurt, bacon and eggs.

Lots of road noise from I-45 even in back of hotel. lol hotel staff won’t leave you alone if your running a little late leaving the room. Also won’t take extensions of you stay over the in room phone. Free breakfast was kinda sub par. Just had bad microwaveable items. Juices and water at breakfast weren’t working.

The images matched the room which was nice although there were no lamps (only harsh overhead lights) and no facial tissue which I requested but the fellow I asked didn’t speak good English and suggested that don’t offer tissue. The larger issue and the reason I gave an overall 2 stars was the breakfast. Little donuts and honey buns with a couple of old apples. That was it. Two machines were out of order and only regular coffee was offered. For $85 , I got a bed and it simply wasn’t worth it

The hotel is wonderful! I stayed there a couple of years ago for a concert and loved it so we stayed again when we traveled for a football game. It’s super clean, comfortable and safe! The rooms are pretty much soundproof as you cannot hear any of the traffic from the highway. If I had any suggestions for improvements they would simply be to add more pillows. Two pillows per bed was a little rough with 4 of us in the room. And also, the “free breakfast” was just a snack cake, cinnamon roll and barely warm coffee. I would probably say breakfast snacks are available lol

I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews. I mean it's okay. But the shower was a trickle, the bed was not overly comfortable and the pillows were super thin. Bring your own pillow! Breakfast was an absolute joke. All the drink machines were broken, and there were a handful of prepackaged honey buns laid out.
