Lovely room with kitchen, beautiful ocean view. Nice hot shower and comfortable bed. Danielle at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. She googled Hop on Hop off bus and printed out the address of the stop closest to the hotel as well as the phone number for the company. Delightful! Rooftop deck was wonderful with panoramic views of the beach and coast.

We chose Venice Breeze due to the distance to a family event at 8 Brooks. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and it was very clean. What we didn't like: Parking is painful

Although not a traditional type of hotel with a lobby, Venice Breezes was a very welcoming place to stay for a week. Great location right on the beach, and amazing views from the rooftop terrace where one can grill a meal and dine overlooking the scene below. Clean room with fridge and freezer, stove and oven to prepare breakfast or lunch, saving money having to go out for every meal. Nice and friendly desk staff that allow you to leave your luggage at the desk after check out for a few hours. Recommended!

Great location. Busy on weekends but that’s the vibe! Awesome rooftop with BBQ. Get your own beer and meat and enjoy the view. Learn to get the bus to Santa Monica and then use the train system around Los Angeles and you can pretty much get anywhere! Staff are great.

Beautiful hotel and our room was very nice. It's fortunate that we checked in when we did because we scored the last parking garage pass. Parking garage is a short walk down the alley. Otherwise we would've been paying $70 every 12 hours to park in the garage next door.

This is a place is a hidden gem. It's clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms are very nice, and the location is fantastic. I had a partial ocean view room and it was really nice. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and had dual shower heads with great pressure. My only two issues were that: there was no parking on site and had to park 2-3 blocks away for $20 per night, and that the elevator was from the 1920s. But for that location and the cleanliness I would deal with the off-site parking and old elevator again and again.

The roof area was amazing with spectacular views! Very helpful and friendly staff. Everything was clean and we were right on the beach. They have towels, chairs, toys, and sunscreen to borrow which was nice.

The property was interesting. It was great being on the beach and the room was large. However, we were led to believe there were 2 beds but it was actually a bed and a futon. The futon had no sheets and just an old smelly blanket to cover up with. Also, they were really stingy with towels and wash cloths. There were 2 of us staying and we were given 2 towels and 1 washcloth. It took a day to get additional linens. The room was not cleaned the entire 4 days we were there. At one point we just put the trash in the hall. I'm all for don't do fresh towels after just one use and don't change the sheets every day, but this was ridiculous. At over 300.00 a night, we expected more.

This property has a very good location. Easy to find and right in-front of the beach however, this was my first time at Venice and was not aware of the amount of homeless people and danger there is in the area. The room smelled incredibly bad and there was flies everywhere then the humidity inside the old building is unbearable. The elevator didn’t even work so I had to go up 4 floors. Restroom has ZERO privacy. I feel that the images and pictures were VERY unrealistic especially for the price. I hope this helps for any future guest first time in Venice.

The staff was great and really nice. The room was nice too but the “couch” was a futon not a pull out couch. The windows also didn’t seal well so when a man decided to come by the alley at 1 in the morning and yell profanities for about 30 minutes we heard it all. And the next morning when another guy decided to stand outside of the property for hours yelling about nonsense, spewing profanities and threatening people for hours we (including our 8 year old) heard every little bit. As lovely as the view and location was, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

Rooms are very spacious and clean, and the location is great, but the walls are really thin so any noise carries from other suites. We tried to have the fan on while we slept but the overhead light would turn on randomly in the night so we had to turn it off altogether.

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend and loved it!! Our suite was very clean, cozy, retro & beach. I could have moved right in! Front desk was so friendly and helpful with suggested places to eat, shop and visit. Much better than staying at a boring chain hotel. Slight inconvenience was parking but front desk hooked us up. Thanks Danielle!

We had a great stay. This hotel is right in the middle of everything! We loved the location on the beach and the easy walk to Venice or Santa Monica. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. They even offer the guests towels and beach chairs if you would like to go the beach. The rooftop patio was a great place to sit and watch everything from the skatepark to the surfers to the busy walkways.

Loved being literally on the sand in Venice. The only negative is parking. There isn't any. I used a lot across the street. One night was $55.00. Expensive, but really the location, and the room itself, essentially a studio apt with a fully stocked kitchen, is worth it.

The hotel location (with respect to the beach) was awesome but parking was a 5 minutes walk. During the day, the walk is fine but at night time it gets a bit sketchy. Overall, I really liked and enjoyed the hotel.

OMG the hotel was perfect!!! The location was excellent. The secure parking offered for 20 bucks a night was great. The only thing we felt it was a little unsafe when the sun went down. But we made it a point to be back early and start our day early. Would def book again!

I have never stayed in a hotel as noisy and unruly as this was. No breakfast, no parking? Really? No parking? The area was very unsafe, a lot of violence and at no point during the night did screaming and yelling come to an end.

We liked the kitchen in the unit which was very well equipped, even having a dishwasher. The large windows which let in lots of sunlight was a big bonus. The hotel also has a beautiful roof top patio which has a fabulous view of the Venice Beach board walk and ocean. You can also use the BBQ up there. Staff is very accomodating and the desk is serviced 24/7,

I was skeptical before we got to Venice Breeze Suites. I kept thinking to myself "I made a mistake booking this room, it probably wont actually have a view of the beach and it won't be close to anything." The night we arrived, it was dark and pouring down rain. We got out of our Uber and immediately stepped into a huge puddle of water. Again, I was feeling like I had made a bad decision. We went into the building and there was a freindly attendant at the front desk, even though it was after midnight. We got our room key and made our way up to the third floor. Once there I observed that the room was clean, cozy and warm. The next day when we woke up, I opened the blinds(the exterior walls have windows that stretch the length of the walls) and discovered that we had a beautiful view of the beach as well as the street below. It was still raining, but later that day the sky cleared, and the sun came out. The view was spectacular that evening. There is also a rooftop lounge, equipped with a bbq grille and comfy furniture. The bathroom had fresh clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen had clean dishes, a fridge, coffee maker, dishwasher and sink. It was a home away from home conveniently located right on the beach. It was the perfect getaway for my son and I. We will likely return next year.

Very happy with our first floor room as it was clean and felt new and fresh, with a nice size and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a separate room for the bed and tv. The staff was helpful and friendly, lending us Beach towels to watch the sunset on the expansive beach right across the board walk. You can find parking on the street, but we opted for the overnight parking a few blocks away, at a hefty $60 price tag. We enjoyed a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance, including Sol Agave and Great White. We also walked the boardwalk down to Santa Monica and on up to the Venice Canals. We enjoyed our overnight stay!

Great property right on the beach, has everything you need. Staff were friendly- especially Danielle :) Our partial ocean view room didn’t really live up to its name, just a small glimpse. Rooftop terrace was nice, perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset. Good to have the option to take your dinner up there away from the chaos of Venice Beach boardwalk but still with the beach view. Shame about Venice Beach, I hear it’s gone downhill since covid. I didn’t feel safe leaving the hotel on my own. A lot of homelessness and smell of cannabis literally everywhere. No parking is a down side of this property although appreciate the parking map they give you.

Great location right on the beach, and amazing views from the rooftop terrace where one can grill a meal and dine overlooking the scene below. Clean room with fridge and freezer, stove and oven to prepare breakfast or lunch, saving money having to go out for every meal. If you need to stay in Venice, Venice Breeze Suites are convenient and well located. Sadly, Venice is such a sad and pathetic parade of the lost and homeless, it radically tarnishes the situation. The hotel is worn and old but clean, well cared for and the people are friendly and helpful. There is no food of any kind, but a Starbucks 30 feet away and plenty of restaurants in all directions. The rooftop is a great spot to hang and relax. It is sad to see the continued decline of Venice Beach. I used to live there and it was not as awful as it is now. But again, if you absolutely have stay in Venice then this hotel is a good choice.
