La experiencia en el resort no fue buena. Aunque el lugar tiene todo el potencial de ser espectacular. Sin embargo el servicio, el aseo, los ascensores dañados, la limitación de la energía, la falta de internet, los restaurantes cerrados y con servicio limitado hicieron la estadía muy regular. Muchas cosas por mejorar.

La experiencia en el resort no fue buena. Aunque el lugar tiene todo el potencial de ser espectacular. Hotel is very far from anything and there are no activities there. The beach is not swimmable. The road to get there is very bumpy and takes 20+ minutes to get down from the main road. Very expensive for what it is.

Una buena propiedad con servicios de hotel muy deficientes. No realizaron la limpieza de los cuartos de forma diaria, no entregaron toallas limpias en la habitaciones, no retiraban la basura de la habitación, fallaba la televisión, agua caliente e internet, etc. El servicio en el restaurante demasiado lento.

El lugar es muy privado, esta lindo y cuidado. En los cuartos y albercas falta limpieza mas profunda. Las opciones para comer y trasladarse son muy pocas, es un lugar para ir y quedarte ahi toda tu estancia.

El camino de acceso hacia la propiedad se encontraba en muy mal estado y nos indicaron que es debido a las lluvias, esto hacía complicado el acceso o salida del hotel. Considero que deberían existir señalamientos para guiar y facilitar la llegada al hotel, ya que no hay ninguno y es fácil perderse si estás distraído o si vas manejando de noche. Deberían de poner un poco más de atención a la limpieza en las habitaciones, nos quedamos en el penthouse y el área de la cocina estaba un poco sucia. En general las instalaciones estaban bien, habitaciones muy cómodas, área de alberca agradable, el personal muy amable y hubo buen servicio en general.

My stay at the Vivo Resort was amazing, the only slight inconvenience was the road to get there was a bit confusing and a little bumpy. However overall the staff was very friendly, the food was quite delicious, the rooms are amazingly beautiful and clean, the private beach was very calming and gorgeous, and I felt very safe during my time there.

El lugar es súper lindo, y cómodo. Está el tema de las toallas de playa, solo te dan una vez y te dicen que en el departamento está el centro de lavado y nosotros hay que llevarlas. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que no había wifi que lo estaban solucionando y se tardaron día y medio en tener wifi, y no hay señal en el celular.

Me gusta mucho ir ahí y seguro seguiré llendo por el mar y mil cosas lo único q no me gusta es que siempre entregan tarde las habitaciones y no me dieron mi botella VIP pero además la cama rechinaba horrible y en la habitación 331 había un escándalo terrible a media noche ya sé q la señora vive ahí pero igual deben tener consideración eso si el amanecer en mi habitación 332 fue ufff bellísimo

Esta muy lejos del centro y se tiene que manejar por una carretera muy angosta con un tramo largo en terraceria, por lo que no es de facil acceso, solo si rentaste auto puedes trasladarte, de otra forma seguramente sera caro llegar y salir a las diferentes areas de atraccion. Las instalaciones cumplen para hospedarte espaciosa y comodamente. Habitaciones eficientes y buenos acabados, muy bien equipadas. En General disfrutamos nuestra estancia en Vivo Resorts.

Esta muy lejos del centro y se tiene que manejar por una carretera muy angosta con un tramo largo en terraceria, por lo que no es de facil acceso, solo si rentaste auto puedes trasladarte, de otra forma seguramente sera caro llegar y salir a las diferentes areas de atraccion. Es un hotel muy bonito, en una playa muy tranquila, el servicio es atento y amable, las habitaciones tienen un buen tamaño y una excelente calidad, la unica cuestion es que para llegar al hotel es un camino de terraceria, sin embargo esto no afecta significativamente la experiencia

I was placed in a room my first night and construction was being done around 7:30am after a long late night of travel . The noise was so loud I couldn’t rest . After going to the front desk and asking for a different room I was told they would call or email me when they found something similar . They never called . There was no hot water shower 1 out of the few days I was there . The food and the staff for the restaurant were amazing and the food was amazing. The prices were not expensive very reasonable. Only reason for not getting 1 star . Over priced for not having anything near by to do . You have to get a taxi to and from town .

The resort is really nice, but it is in the middle of nowhere with a 25 minute drive to get to town, and half of that drive is on a dirt road. The wi fi was terrible, and the cell service was also terrible. The food was excellent in the one restaurant, and less expensive than most resorts.

El hotel / residencias es muy cómodo L atención fue muy buen y nos apoyaron con el late check out que. Los desayunos son muy buenos Tienen acceso incluido para personas con discapacidad Un poco mal el camino o terraza para llegar y más en la noche. No es culpa del hotel pero hay mucho charco y bache que eso puede perjudicar a un auto y no sirve el teléfono. Seria bueno tener más señalizaciones y revisar este tema con el municipio

This property is an area that has no developed road. It is hard on a compact rental car to get to it. No wifi available even though they state that they have. It’s nice in the sense that it’s right on the beach. But the beach is not a swimmable one. The waves are too strong. In addition, they overcharge at checkout then state it’s a WiFi issue. But to not worry it’ll resolve. Nope. Months out and they refuse to return the $300 overcharge unless I give them bank information despite having paid with a credit card and asking them to please return it, the same way they charged it. Service was horrible. Would not recommend to fellow travelers.

We love the place, the rooms are very nice, the view of the ocean is fantastic! The pools are very enjoyable and the food at the restaurant was amazing. The staff at the restaurant are vey kind. We were really hoping to make Vivo are oficial place to stay in Puerto Escondido but the staff at the front desk lacks training, our room was cleaned everyday but the living room wasn't. For the price you pay we would suggest that coffee, shampoo and soap would be supplied daily, because it's not. The first day there were two conditioners instead of one shampoo and one conditioner, we reported it and nothing happened, so we had to go personally to the front desk to ak for shampoo. Instead of a customer service attitude we got a "it will be taken care when possible"....Not enough sun chairs by the pool taking into account the number of rooms. Very limited options for happy hour. On January 1st the restaurant service was very affected: few waitress, some kitchen staff didn't show up, they had ran out of certain food supplies, etc. We understand the challenges but it would've been appreciated if there had been a sign explaining the situation of the manager walking around the tables to explain the situation, but when we suggested this, we were told she was on vacations! During high season? Please know we do care for Vivo Resort to be successful since it is in a unique spot and so much investment has been made. So in few words we suggest hiring a manager that will make it so!

La experiencia en el resort no fue buena. Aunque el lugar tiene todo el potencial de ser espectacular. Sin embargo el servicio, el aseo, los ascensores dañados, la limitación de la energía, la falta de internet, los restaurantes cerrados y con servicio limitado hicieron la estadía muy regular. La persona en el mostrador para check in, por la yarde noche tiene la gracia de una piedra. Para nada empática, deberían seleccionar mejor a una persona para ese puesto, es la cara de la empresa. El PH rentado tenía un jacuzzi, nó se nos permitió hacer uso del mismo, argumentando qué en las condiciones de la reserva lo mencionaba, les demostré qué nó decía tal cosa. Después nos dijeron que nó servía, cúando si servía. La factura para mis consumos nunca llegó. Demasiadas trabas para generarla.

Excelente lugar solo que si llegas en tu vehículo, el acceso al hotel es de terracería por 12 minutos y falta de señalamientos. El Waze te lleva bien, pero como se pierde la señal si sería conveniente incrementar señalamientos en este trayecto y de preferencia llegar con luz de día porque no hay alumbrado. Ya estando en el hotel, es una excelente opción de descanso, bonito y el servicio es muy bueno.

The property is located in a restricted area meaning that you have to drive 20 min in an uneven dirt road. The road is full of bumps rocks and is not of easy to access with a small vehicle. If you are considering this hotel defenetely consider in advance to rent a 4x4 vehicle otherwise you will be stuck at the hotel or will need to pay around 50 dlls (one way) per trip.

Beautiful property, I would definitely go back. The only con is that it is far from town accessible by a dirt road. Not complaining, this makes the place so special, however you need to either buy plenty of groceries for your entire stay on your way from the airport (which is what we did), or depend entirely on the one restaurant on-site. Round trip taxi to town is about $65.00 dlls so be mindful of that. There was one day that the building we were staying had a problem with the water supply and there was no manager in charge to update us on status. The very courteous front desk person was unable to answer our questions and no one else to support her with answers. I believe we had one of the best units in the property (4 bdroom 3 ba beach front - ground level) and we fully took advantage of it. Steps from the beach and pool. I am sure you will enjoy your time as we did. Thank you Vivo for your hospitality, we will definitely be back.

Los taxis cobran muy caro para llegar ahí, un promedio de $800 y no esta tan lejos y NO hay nada cerca solo las instalaciones del hotel Para ir a Zicatela que es donde está el ambiente está a 40 minutos y tienes que tomar un taxi que te cobra un promedio de 800 pesos. The resort is really nice, but it is in the middle of nowhere with a 25 minute drive to get to town, and half of that drive is on a dirt road. The wi fi was terrible, and the cell service was also terrible. The food was excellent in the one restaurant, and less expensive than most resorts.

El lugar es muy lindo, los condominios muy bonitos, limpios y en excelente estado, en mi caso toda la noche se prendía un presurizador instalado cerca, que no dejó dormir bien a mi esposo. El acceso puede ser complicado para quien lleve auto bajo ya que la laguna se desborda en varias partes del camino y el hotel no está listo para recibir muchos huéspedes ya que se les terminaban alimentos del menú casi todo el fin de semana. Lindo lugar falta mejorar el servicio de alimentos y acceso.

I had 3 issues with the resort 1) Road to resort has bad, bumpy, rough and was very worrisome driving thru it at night. 2) ALL personal at restaurant and the Bar always looked mad and it seemed like they were forced to be there. ALWAYS looked mad. We had to ask the waitress several times for anything we wanted because she kept forgetting. 3) Restaurant opens at 8am. they would even give us a glass of water. Their response was we had to wait until 8am to ask for anything.

The apartments are very nice. New. Clean. The property as well. The problem is the service at the bars and restaurants. Extremely slow. For some French fries we waited more than an hour. Any meal takes 1-2 hours. I also became very sick on my secondary from food poisoning from something I ate at the restaurante. To get any service it is very hard and limited.

First let me say that we spent a lovely 3 days at Vivo Resorts. The location is stunning - the massive expanse of almost private beach with crashing waves will stay in my memory a long time. Most of the staff are super and the resort, being all apartments owned independently and then either with owners residing or people on vacation, had a really friendly vibe where lots of people obviously knew each other and participated in activities (yoga , volleyball, etc) with plenty of open and free space. There was a whale swimming off shore on one day, and participating in the turtle release one evening was a real joy. So if there hadn’t been a few negatives , it would have been 5 stars. But here are the negatives- - the room we booked (one bed penthouse) wasn’t available - they had overbooked. The alternative, whilst bigger, did not have the view or feel of the penthouse, even if it was priced slightly higher. The most annoying part was the staff were trying to make out that were giving us what we booked - in the end I took screen shots to prove something they absolutely knew (and eventually admitted). So the check in was incredibly annoying. - WiFi was out for nearly a day - Cleaners’ cleaning cloth was found inside my wife’s case. The case was open and it doesn’t seem that anything is missing , but a wierd occurrence nonetheless Other than that, the food was excellent and most of the staff were lovely.

My stay at the Vivo Resort was amazing, the only slight inconvenience was the road to get there was a bit confusing and a little bumpy.
