We enjoyed our stay at hotel Mary for 4 nights. The staff were great and the hotel is perched on the edge of a hill giving scenic views of the Napoli coast. It’s conveniently located for Pompeii, amalfi coast and sorento at half the price for visiting those places. The restaurant manager is very enthusiastic and makes you feel very welcomed like an honoured guest. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Dining options around the area is great with most plates starting at €15 euros for one course. The rooms are spacious and very clean. One thing we did not like was that the walls had poor sound insulation and you could hear what was going on in other rooms and corridor. The cleaning staff were great and did a fine job but they start around 7am and it gets very noisy from them on. Also we were disappointed that use of the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, were not included as normal. There is an extra charge for this. It was €25/hour each which is not trivial fee to pay. for us as we could not use the beach as it was too cold and could not use the hotel pool because it is outdoor and cold, we would have loved to use the spa. €5 a day would have worked well and I think they would get more patronage of the spa facility.

The property is beautiful and staff are very nice and helpful. The only thing I did not like is that the hot tub and indoor poor are not included. You have to purchase the spa to use them. I felt that was a little misleading when I booked.

Awesome hotel with beautiful views, a great pool and wonderful staff. I would stay here again without question. The staff were so helpful with my two kids and the breakfast was delicious. We also spent a couple hours at the beach club a couple days in a row and it was delightful. Thanks to all the staff for such a great stay.

This place is so nice.we stayed on pool level floor. We could step out to patio open gate and get right on pool couch,pool, or pool bar. Never made it to wellness spa, but a guest at pool said it was 1st class. Front desk driver drives you right to on property beach

Beautiful hotel! Property is gorgeous with amazing views. Poolside is relaxing and comfortable. Hotel restaurant is delicious and fresh. Close to shopping and restaurants. Overall an exception stay!! Would definitely come back. Slightly disappointed on beach front-it is not typical beach with sand and rocks but rather a large dock and stairs decending into the water. Property is on a steep road, but expected at the Amalfi Coast. Free valet parking. Walking into Vico Equense can be a bit of a challenge for older visitors. All eateries in town in 20 minutes or less walking distance., so is the trainstation. The pool, wellness center and property is exceptional and well maintained. Beach can be reached by hotel shuttle or walking (would not recommend, lots and lots of steps) A special shoutout to the front desk, anyone was extremely helpful and their English is perfect.

The rooms are very clean- whenever I walked past a room that the staff were cleaning I noticed that they lifted all the small furniture up to clean underneath and pushed the big furniture aside to clean under the chaise etc. It’s literally sparkling clean. We also got some laundry done and everything came back looking better than new. The hotel itself is good and has beautiful decor and a lovely view. In terms of location, Vico Equense is a little sleepy but has very good restaurants.

Property is very clean and comfortable. Staff goes above and beyond service. It is located in an excellent place where you can drive around to other cities. Parking is included which is a big plus here in the town. Will be coming back for sure!!

We had so much itching after our stay. We had to come home and wash all of our clothes, our hair and shower three times to be relieved of it. Probably a bed bug infestation. I brought my own bed bug spray and sprayed the beds, but the itching was still terrible.

Great view from the restaurant and outdoor seating. Our room was very small, and we couldn’t keep the shades open because people in the neighboring office building could see into our room, even though we were on a higher floor. Clean and very accommodating.

전망도 좋고 특히 조식이 맛있었습니다. 차를 호텔앞에 대면 직원이 나와서 발렛주차를 해줘서 주차하기도 편했습니다. 다만, 엘레베이터 바로옆의 방이였는데 엘레베이터 오르고 내리는 소리가 들려서 조금 시끄러웠고, 아침 7시부터 청소기돌리는 소리가 시끄러웠습니다. 주변에 정말 맛있고 유명한 레스토랑도 있고 번화해서 위치는 괜찮았습니다.

The staff at Hotel Mary were fantastic. No issues with language barriers and made us feel welcome. Would visit again. The one thing to be mindful of are the thin walls between hotel room walls. Aside from that, our stay was wonderful!

Our stay was overall very nice, and we would return. Breakfast variety was great (even though other reviews say it wasn’t) - fruits, croissants, breads, donuts, pancakes, eggs, etc. Staff was very friendly & helpful. We were able to easily get assistance with things like booking a private car to take us to the airport, get an extra pillow, get ice, and more! One waitress at breakfast was seemingly a little impatient, but everyone else seemed very nice. Love the onsite dining and drinking options - makes for a very relaxing trip. Great local recommendations for dinner and day trips as well. Loved the options for the pool or the sea club - we did both. As some other reviews note, it is kind of loud in the hotel / walls are thin. One night we could clearly hear a beach club going until 11pm, and everything echoes in the hallways (guests slamming doors etc). We had a white noise machine which helped a lot. The AC also didn’t go below 21, which was a little warm some nights.

The room was very nice with a stunning view from the balcony. The breakfast was very good. The room was hot because we came during winter season and they turn on the heat during that time. But we called front desk and they turned the heat off to our room and we opened the balcony door to let air in.

It could be a 4-star... The good: Valet parking; Clean; Great view; Nice breakfast The questionable: The staff appear to be friendly, without being very amenable. When I asked the bartender at the pool bar to turn the volume on the 'boom-boom' music down a bit (there were only 6 people on the deck and one was <6 months old), she told me to go sit at the other end of the pool. I was told repeatedly that they didn't care if I was an Expedia Gold Member, they do not offer upgrades. This became an issue because I had booked a Superior Room (215sqft) and the room that we got (135sqft) - behind the elevator - would have been stretched to be a decent single. The hotel was full, so we were stuck.The next morning they agreed to move us to a larger room (160 sqft). They could have made a guest happy by upgrading us to one of the empty Executive Rooms - as I requested - in compensation for the previous night. But they refused. Instead, they cut their losses by giving us a slightly better, albeit unsatisfactory, room and let the 4 Executive Rooms go empty. There is almost no discernible decor: the bottom is blue and the top is white; no artwork, flowers, sculptures, POI's. They offer an area shuttle, but wanted 10€ for 500m. Should be a service, not a grab. Negatives: The most eco UNfriendly hotel I've been to in a long time. Everything is plastic, wrapped in plastic, single use amenities, etc. Description is totally misleading - not on the beach! There are better avaliable!

Hotel Mary was great, they sent a shuttle to pick us up from the Vico Eq. train station when we could not find a taxi. During our stay, all the staff was wonderful, especially Vincenzo who greeted us with a smile and great service for breakfast every morning.

Beat Staff! All of them but I don’t know their names. Juicy was our go to person who helped us with our trip. She explains in detail what you need to know and is soooo patient. Vincenzo is the host at the restaraunt! He smiles at you and ensures you feel welcomed. When you hug to say goodbye, you know it was a great stay. Be good to the staff and they will be great to you.

The front desk were not great. Not accommodating at all. We requested a late check out of only one hour and they could not accommodate - unless we paid an extra cost - our flight was much later in the day and they were unwilling to budge. And not apologetic at all. The cleaning staff were exceptional! Very nice. The room was average at best. I would not stay here again

We stayed at Hotel Mary for 3 nights in late August. Our first impression was not great as we dealt with an unfriendly ‘robotic’ reception staff who never smile or acknowledge you - this was for the entire 3 days we were there. The only staff that smiled were the 2 sister chambermaid team of Enza & Paola who always greeted us with a smile daily (even at the end of their shift if we saw them). The reception staff could learn a thing or two from the sisters on customer service and professionalism. The restaurant and breakfast were average and the room was very nice with a great view of the sea. Free parking was nice but you have to valet it. Giovanni did a great job! City is within walking distance which is nice too. You really don’t need a car unless you decide to drive the Amalfi Coast, which I recommend you get a private driver or take a tour. It was my first time to this particular city but should I ever return to the Amalfi Coast, I would go back and stay in Sorrento as there is more to do there.

Simply loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and the town it was in had the best dining experiences all within a 5 min walk. Since it was in a smaller town the pricing of the restaurants was very reasonable and great quality food. It was a short train ride to Sorrento as we were touring hte Amafi coast. Highly recommend.

Property is on a steep road, but expected at the Amalfi Coast. Free valet parking. Walking into Vico Equense can be a bit of a challenge for older visitors. All eateries in town in 20 minutes or less walking distance., so is the trainstation. The pool, wellness center and property is exceptional and well maintained. Beach can be reached by hotel shuttle or walking (would not recommend, lots and lots of steps) A special shoutout to the front desk, anyone was extremely helpful and their English is perfect.

The staff is very nice, sincere, professional and friendly. The room is clean and has a nice view. It is very close to the city center with a lot of amenities. However, It is a challenge walk with luggages from the train station as the sidewalks are all made with cobblestone. This hotel does not have in house laundry facility. You need to walk 5 mins to a laundromat.

Lovely hotel within a 10-15 minute walk to Vico Enquense train station which takes you to Sorrento or to Napoli. Lovely little town with some nice restaurants. Hotel is well kept, clean and high end with a lovely spa. The steam room was not working during our stay but hopefully this will be rectified soon. Restaurant was the main let down for us. Dinner menu was the same each night and quite pricy for what was offered. Portions were small. Breakfast buffet was also the same each day apart from some variations with the cakes, but hot food was disappointing. No omelettes, mushrooms available for vegetarians. Became bored of the food after a couple of days. Shuttle (payable there and back) bus to the sea bar was nice. Great lounging area overlooking the sea. No beach access, but you can walk down some steps into the sea. Food and drinks are served at the beach bar, but hot food stops after a certain time- I think around 14.10hrs so will need to order before then. I would recommend hotel, however we traveled to Sorrento everyday to access different areas and so probably wouldn’t do that next time round.

This hotel is AMAZING. The view is incredible, the food is amazing and breakfast is included. The pool is stunning and the best part is the beach club- very rare in Italy that it's included. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I wish i could have stayed longer and will definitely return!

We loved the breakfast buffet, and the restaurant servers were outstanding! The sunset views were absolutely gorgeous, and the drinks arrived quickly. While the beach club didn’t have direct sandy beach access, the floating dock and its restaurant offered generous, delicious portions. Dinner options were on the pricey side and not quite as delicious, and the wine was outrageously priced. Overall, we still had a fantastic stay! :)

This hotel is a hidden gem on the coast. We had booked this hotel after staying three days and beautiful Positano to stay in after our trip to Pompeii. It exceeded our expectations. The infinity pool was incredible and it is even more beautiful than the photos depict. The food was delicious. We had cocktails in the bar, which were perfection and we highly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant where the food was out of this world. The staff, including Vincenzo were so helpful and made the experience five stars. There was also free valet parking, which made it be very easy with a car. We had a family suite which was two floors and really great for a family. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quaint hotel outside of Positano or Sorrento

The train station is a short 10min walk which will take you to Sorrento or Naples. On travel days we chose to have the hotel book us a driver to Naples train station. The hotel also have day trips and guide available. I agree with another review..h Jung a water kettle in the room was the only thing missing. It would be nice to have the option to make tea or coffee between eating hours. maybe the hotel will consider it in the future.
