The staff were great. The facilities were excellent. At the guest information desk Boushra was most helpful with my mother and very friendly and insightful on where to go and get around in Istanbul. Ahmet who I met at the Starbucks and serving area was very attentive to my parents and overall the staff gave us an excellent impression and comfortable stay and showed us great use of the facilities of the Marriott. Hands down best hotel for the area.

The area of the hotel is in a very good area with lots of cafe and shops nearby walking distance. Not very far from tourist attractions. The pool and hot tub was well tempered and locker rooms were kept clean and hygienic. Door men staff were very friendly. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Definitely not a 5 star It is a good 3 star. Breakfast expensive, not worth it , ordered in lobby 2 americano coffee with milk , not only they charge $5 for coffee, milk is extra $2.50 to put it in your coffee, not seen this anywhere and I travel a lot . Rooms are small, windows very dirty, blocks the great views. It is located at the top of street not so desirable area.

We chose this hotel specifically to get a few restful nights of sleep after surgery, but unfortunately, we didn’t get even one full night of uninterrupted rest. Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed in, this was by far the most disappointing—especially considering it’s marketed as a 5-star property. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Every time I turned over, I would wake up from the discomfort. For a luxury hotel, that’s simply unacceptable. The soundproofing was virtually nonexistent—each night, our neighbors would return drunk around 3 or 4 a.m., loudly talking and laughing in the hallways and slamming doors. It felt like they were right in our room, and it happened every single night. Another issue was a flashing light from the smoke detector that blinked constantly when we turned the lights off—very disruptive in an already restless environment. To be fair, the room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant was highly overpriced and not worth it, especially given the many great dining options right outside the hotel. All in all, if you’re looking for comfort, peace, and a good night’s sleep, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. This hotel simply didn’t deliver on its promises.

My husband and I stayed at this Marriott and we had a wonderful experience here. It’s a 5min walk from Metro and the Mall. We were able to take the metro to all the major sites like the grand bazaar, hajya sofia, blue mosque, and ferries to bosphorous river that connects the Black Sea to Mediterranean Sea. All very convenient by the metro system. At Breakfast: we were attended to every morning by Moes, Deniz, and Ebru who were all very attentive to us and personable. At the lounge: they were very attentive and polite as well.

The staff here are just doing their job here. Nothing more or less. I was not treated with any different as a gold member of hotels.com and a gold elite member of Marriott. Like not even a welcome or drink of water at reception. Marriot is a scam 5* will never support them again and will revok my gold elite status with them. Hotels were old like they been washed repeatedly gif 10 years. Room service was lousy. Mattress was terrible. Etc.

I have stayed in Istanbul Marriott Hotel şişli for few weeks. I had one of the best services ever, very clean rooms and best views, a great Lobby area, food was excellent. On the Top of all that the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank them all, Specially the Duty Manager Kemal who assisted with few minor issues that i had, and the guest relation Aygun who was very helpful and friendly, and at the reception desk I have to personally thank all and specially ( Sima Yildirim, Erhan, Serpil, Kaan, Emre, BahAdir and Nurcan the Managers and Ali who checked me in. And I’m sorry I couldn’t remember some of the other staff’s names. Highly recommend Hotel mainly because of the lovely service from the staff. I would like the management kindly email the staff and praise them for their great service and hospitality skills.
