Great price for a clean comfortable room. The king size bed was comfortable. The hot tub was just what we needed after hiking Theodore Roosevelt National Park that day.

Very nice and clean room. The owners care about the motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The pool was clean.

A/C unit outside on ground below my room was very noisy, all night long. Ice machine on my floor (3rd) was not working. No machine on 2nd floor. 1st floor machine was working but out of ice.

Hot Tub didn't work. Couldn't start the jets. Had to request a second towel. KNOB FELL OFF shower. Lucky to reattach it. The gentleman at the front desk was pretty amazing though He was extremely accommodating to the issues we dealt with. Good man IMHO. Randall

Parking wasn't pleasant but overall great hotel. Very nice, except entry light wasn't working and we had no one to contact arriving at 2am

Property was a great stay! No breakfast available there so that was kind of a bummer. But the pool was great the rooms were nice clean and spacious

The Heritage Hotel was absolutely fantastic for the price especially! The service was great; the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the pool and hot tub were excellent. The showers were wonderful! High shower heads with good water pressure.

Overall we really liked this hotel. It was clean and fresh with a gym and a pool in good working conditions. However, the morning coffee machine was not working and when we first arrived we had to wait for a clerk to come over from a neighboring hotel to check us in.

I’ve machine broken, they actually haven’t served breakfast since 11/21/21. Which is what I booked it for. The vent above the hot tub has gross ‘growth’ forming on it and drips into the hot tub. The front staff was never there- you actually had to call them on a phone for them to come over from wherever they were-through the front door. (Was nice though). 2 towels stocked in bathroom…none in pool area. We’re traveling with kids, all of this has made this night extremely difficult.

The toilet had fecal stains from a previous guest. There was a dead fly on the headboard. The bathroom had lotion/soap dispensers that were held to the wall with some kind of adhesive and they kept falling down. The surface of the bathtub was eroded away. The bed was comfortable and we slept ok. However, this room was not worth the close to $200 fee that we paid for one night. Also, the worker urinating onto the concrete in the parking lot was a turn-off.

First impression was a dark parking lot with limited parking. Side indoor stairs were dirty. Lobby stank of chlorine from the pool area. Front desk worker was EXCELLENT. He was very polite. We were given a room that had been reported to staff was clean but it wasn't. My daughter opened the door and there was a black object on the unmade bed and it stunk of cigarette smoke. I went to the desk, he was very apologetic and I was quickly given another room. The second room had a liquor bottle in the drawer that my 8 yr old son immediately found; he always looks through the drawers. One of the pillows had a blood stain on the pillow as well as the first pillowcase. The outer case was clean. I brought the pillow to the desk. Again he was very apologetic. I asked for a refund. He completely understood and issued it. I haven't seen the pending charge drop off My account yet; the stay was for Sunday night and today is Tuesday morning. There was NOTHING wrong with the front desk worker. He was always polite and professional. I will not be staying there again.

The room was not cleaned the night side table had a bunch of sunflower seeds spit and chewed gum. The refrigerator was running and not cold the microwave didnt work at all. There was a lot of dust on the vents. Only

Shower was dirty, carpet was sticky, and the room was muggy and damp.

Stood at the front desk for 15 minutes trying to check in. Walked the halls of the hotel to find nobody. When I finally got checked in. Used towels in the bathroom, hair on the shower wall. Wouldn’t recommend.

Room was dirty, bed had hair on the sheets in multiple places. Hotel was under construction, baseboards missing, carpet was ripped up. Seems hotel was understaffed and front desk person was trying to handle multiple issues at one time by himself on a very busy weekend. He was kind, but seemed very short staffed.

Property is and could be really nice but staffing needs addressed. Room was not very clean. Attention to detail is not the focus here. It was also disclosed to me that they borrow the night guy from the neighboring hotel for the night shift. Nobody was present in the lobby unless phoned from front desk. I stayed in 101 and it needs a deep clean. Soap scum in tub and counter tops had pieces of someone’s dinner behind bathroom sink. Cushion chair in room was stained and cushion had not been removed to clean chips pet hair and other debris. Wished I’d taken photos. Property is nice and has lots of potential but needs staff that care. Shout out to Josh, he was very professional!

The bathroom was in bad shape. specifically the tub. shower curtain was really dirty and the caulking around the tub was really bad. I could see several spots where I knew weren't sealed and I knew the water was going into the wall and I thought "oh great, I wonder how much mold is in there." Bathroom counter was also not wiped clean.

Adorable, spacious, clean, rustic & cozy. The walls & doors are thin, so if youre in the lodge, you may hear people coming/going/talking, but we liked it a lot!

AC was set on 70 and the room was 80. AC on 65 and it barely got down to 75. Windows we’re hard to open. Sheetrock under window was cracked and crumbling. Nothing but soda and energy drinks in vending machine Seemed rundown and forgotten. Housekeeping man was very friendly on Sunday.

Renovating, clean but not finished. Or room's soap dispensers were empty, no additional toiletries provided. We upgraded to a suite on check-in, got a suite with no couch or chair, just a desk with a tv and 2 end tables 🤔

Positives: Heritage Hotel was adequate. The suite was set up nicely. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was nice. Negatives: The room lacked in cleanliness. The chair and sofa were clearly dirty- the chair was even sticky to touch the arm rests. The shower curtain had some dots of black mold on bottom. Pillow case covers smelled musty. If Heritage steps up their cleanliness we would stay again.

First time visit. No person at reception but a phone to let them know of our arrival; receptionist appeared quickly and completed check in. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. No microwave but fridge. My wife's service dog was received well with no financial penalty.

Ok, it's not a new hotel, but they were finishing the remodel while i was there. Rooms are done, but the lobby area and other amenities were still being finished. There were some odd things in my room; holes in the shower tile and an odd thing that looked like a wall mount for an iron. I think they need to check the rooms for relics of the old Fairfield Inn.

I was not able to stay because the bed in the handicap room was very high, the new trend in hotels. I dont know how they expect someone 5'2" with mobility issues to get into a bed 3" off the ground. I can't imagine tying from a wheelchair. The hotel seems to be under construction. The staff were not very knowledgeable about ADA laws. The only reason I gave more than 1 star was because they refunded my money.

I like the spaciousness of the room. Bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room. No complaints

I liked the comfort and layout of my suite. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings and appliances were nice.

There was no one at the front desk so you could never talk to someone without waiting a long time for them to come over from the other hotel.

Listing says "24 hour front desk personal". When I arrived at 3:40pm there wasn't an employee in the hotel. There was a sign on the desk that said they are helping another customer and to please use the phone to call someone. Nobody answered the call, so I called the main number and again nobody answered. After 30 minutes another guest that was also waiting to check in called the hotel next door and told them there was a line of people waiting to check in. Only then did someone come to check us in. Then in the morning, again there wasn't an employee in the hotel... I had to call two times to get a receipt for my stay.

Perfectly fine place to stay for a night's sleep on a longer drive across several states. I've been here twice. Rooms are perhaps a bit dated, but found to be clean. A number of establishments within a short walk for a late dinner, including Applebees. There is no breakfast served as has been mentioned by other reviewers, (other than coffee/ juice bar), but most importantly the pricing found online reflects that. If you want a full breakfast, pay more, or a lot more, somewhere else. I prefer to pay less. After check-out, went to a local Country Kitchen for a full breakfast and got back on the road. Other reviewers are correct in that the Front Desk at this hotel is not regularly staffed. There is some type of joint-ownership with the adjacent larger hotel, and there is clear signage on the front desk to pick up the house phone, which automatically calls the staff at the adjacent hotel, and they come over and check you in. When I stayed here in June, there was already a staff member at the Front Desk, checking in another guest, so there was no wait. Would stay here again without hesitation, the next time I make the multi-state drive.

Great experience at this affordable hotel. The front desk is friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. There is no breakfast, but there is juice and coffee, and you can use the toaster, which was handy for me (there is a microwave and frig in the room). Nice pool and hot tub. Pretty lobby. Only issue was the key doesn't seem to open the north facing door into the building (they were going to work on that). Special mention: my friend left her water pic in the room and they shipped it to her without charging her. I think that counts as exceptional service!

No staff on site. You had to call someone at another property. If they couldn't help younover the phone, then they'd come over. The ETA will vary on what they are doing at the other property. There is a nice dining area. Plenty of space, chairs, tables. Large pictures of waffles, fruit, juices. Mini fridge typically used for yogurts, hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, etc. Plates, bowls, utensils out. Toaster available, Condiments and coffee necessities, juice machine. However, there is no breakfast. Fridge, breakfast cases, all empty. So no staff, no basic breakfast, norhing. Literally just a place to sleep. My son found items in the drawers and shelves in the room. Level of cleaning is questionable. Lastly, when i did call for help, the attitude from the staff was thick. They must be really happy about their job and I could tell they enjoyed helping people. If you only want a bed that is i can say is bed bug free at best and norhing else, this is the place for you. Itself a shame. The property has potential.

Housekeeping walked in on my adult nude son when I specifically asked for no housekeeping services for both rooms. He felt violated to be woken up to his door closing. I had to call two hotels that the staff is running yesterday to attempt to speak to a manager. Yesterday I was offered a refund and was told a male manager would be calling me back. They never did. I called this morning to accept the offer of a refund and was told maybe my son shouldn’t have slept nude in his private room that I asked for no service in. He is in college & working 2 jobs & I paid for lodging so I’m the one calling. I talked to several people yesterday who DID NOT give me their names. Today ANOTHER person who did not give me their name said that I cannot get a refund. I have been hung up on repeatedly and interrupted while speaking trying to explain to the 4th or 5th person I’ve talked to. Housekeeping barely whispered and knocked very lightly almost not heard and tried to open my door as well. I was told to speak to someone named Patel but no one gave me names. It was extremely late when we checked in, so because I don’t remember who checked us in, apparently the issue is irrelevant. The reservation can be pulled up and they can see who checked me in. I’ve been told not to call back and they don’t have time to deal with it. I have been hung up on and yelled at by an extremely rude woman for trying to resolve a problem. Don’t stay here if you want a good experience because they do not care.

It was fine for what we needed. There were just some odd things. There was never anyone at the front desk, just a sign that said “I’ve stepped away, please use the phone to contact me”. At check in there was nobody there except for an iPad. I attempted to check in through the iPad but couldn’t get far. As I walked out to go back to my car, a gentleman came over and said are you ready to check in? He brought me in, upgraded our room, and we were on our way. The lobby of the hotel was bare- other than the iPad stand and the desk, which had nothing on it. It had no chairs, signs, artwork, pen cup… nothing. We checked in and went to our room. It was fine. It was clean, other than place on the wall it looks like there used to be something there but it was moved and there was a big hole there. Otherwise it was clean and fine. There was no housekeeping service to the room for the 4 nights we were there. This is was fine- but would have liked to know that upfront - we would have been more conservative with the towels. The 2 small trash cans filled up pretty quickly. However, we requested new towels in the middle of our stay and they were brought to us immediately. Pros: budget friendly, clean, responsive when we asked for towels, large fridge (no microwave), ac worked great, pool looked clean Cons: hallway smelled of something, (room was fine) no housekeeping, absent staff (though reachable by phone), no breakfast Bottom line- it was fine, just adjust expectations

Nobody at front desk, double charged for the room. Had to call from front desk to talk with anyone.

Property was in a good location for our purposes. Lots of parking, easy to unload and get luggage to our room. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds.

This is a great, boutique hotel, hidden behind two larger hotels, with a pool, clean and well maintained, I would definitely stay here again.

Was a nice comfortable room. Entrance was hard to see. Did not have a front desk person in mornibg to check out.

The room was nice and it was clean. There was no staff at the desk for two days. Our air conditioner did work. We reported it early in the morning and at night it had not been fixed. They had a breakfast bar that did not provide breakfast, but only coffee and juice.

Travelocity showed this property to provide breakfast, but it does not.

I think Expedia or google said this hotel has continental breakfast. It had no food offerings whatsoever. Just a machine to get juice or coffee. It seemed misleading because they have a whole breakfast room with tables, a small cooler and display that would usually hold continental breakfast items. If you need a cheap stay with no frills, it’s fine. But I wish I had checked out other locations instead. Unfortunately, we also couldn’t use the hot tub because another guest was in there adding soap to the public hot tub and we felt weird about it. Strange place.

No soap, shampoo or conditioner. Ciuld not get coffee on the morning due ti coffee machine only dispensing hot water.

They advertise free breakfast but there is none, just ok coffee and watered down juice. There was a diabetic in our group and it was very frustrating to not have expected food available. The beds were fine. The staff was pretty non existent. No one at the desk when we came to check in and never saw any staff around this morning for 8:30 am check out.

This was a minimalistic experience; no breakfast, no small bottles of shampoo, bars of soap, bath mat, extra blankets, towels or disposable cups! All was fine though except our toilet seat was barely hanging on by one hinge and we never saw a person at the front desk to tell. We actually had to call to round up someone at the front desk when we checked. Other than that, the price and room were good!!

Everything was great except they didn't have the continental breakfast that they posted on the website.

The hotel itself was clean but there was little to no contact with any employees. There was only coffee and juice available-no continental breakfast. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom off the lobby.
