Wingate by Wyndham Seminole

The cleaning staff gave it a poor effort. Coffee was spilled on the tile floor. Rather than clean it up they put a slippery floor sign up. Things were broken and not repaired in the bathroom. Elevator was awful and slow. Only 1 elevator worked. Pool was a glorified birdbath full of feathers and poop.

Hotel was nice and room was clean with a comfy bed. The staff was friendly. We liked that it had a bar on property. Breakfast was fine - a little less than some but average.

This property is really a long-term stay for construction and oilfield workers. The odor of the entire hotel is dirty. The pool has lots of broken and missing tile and was icy cold in the middle of summer. This hotel also has a bar…but since we were staying with younger children, the staff did not house us near the bar, for which I was very thankful. The staff was quick to get us extra towels and a blanket when needed!

One elevator not in working order, room door broken, bugs on bed. Will not book here again.

Very reasonably priced but poor service. Especially had to ask for towels and wash cloths almost every day. Facility needs upgrades and repair. One elevator broken, and other disrepair. Decent breakfast.

Hotel outside is very nice. Lobby is nice as expected. Elevator broken. Wall paper peeling a few places in halls.. Dirty grout on tile in bathroom. Shower drain cover busted. Carpet is worn. Room had visible trash from previous guest under tables. Bed is very comfortable.Treadmill is broken. A little cleaning and a little maintenance would greatly inhance the experience.

Very clean and great installations. We didn't like the bar and loud music that was downstairs at the hotel. The desk attendant was also attending the bar, making her service poor.

Hotel needs maintenance I.e tile broken in bathroom, only one elevator working & broken ice machines. Front desk staff not friendly or inviting both times I approached.

Not great. Had small square pillows. Only provided 2 sets of towels, handtowels and wash cloths when we checked in for 3 people. The drain in the bathroom had hair and gunk in it and had the drain stop pulled out. The office chair in the bedroom area white stuff at the edge of the chair. The floor in the bathroom was sticky. We went to check out at 740 ish, there were 4 of us in line waiting and no one ever came and we had to get going. I had to write on a sticky note providing the check out time with our room key. 2 of us did this in order for us to leave since no one came. The breakfast area was small, had very little bacon, was out of coffee and had no eggs. The lady who checked us in was nice but that was the best part of it all.

Was not cleaned properly room was still dirty, bathroom floor had dirt spots you could tell it was not mopped at all. Towels given were torn and dirty. And dog hair.

Not clean crumbs on bed long black hair everywhere

My wife and I have been staying here 2-3 times per year since it opened. The quality of cleaning and general maintenance has really gone downhill. The restroom had definitely not been properly cleaned. We found a more than one hair in the shower along with lots of evidence of mold. We alerted the front desk and they thankfully moved us to a new room. This new room still had mold and also had a very loose floor tile in the bathroom. During the visit we had here in November, there was only one working lightbulb in all of the table lamps. Other than our first year there, this only ever one elevator working.

Stayed for 3 nights after Christmas. On the last two nights,the lobby and halls smelled very strongly of “skunk”. We had room 210 overlooking the lobby on the second floor above the breakfast seating area. A few switches in the room that didn’t work,including in the bathroom and no fan switch either.Only two bath towels in a room booked for four ppl for 3 nights and one washcloth. And they’re all stored in a rack inside the shower which had pink and black mold/mildew everywhere. Toilet paper holder was broken and there was two rolls of toilet paper that were both partly used up. Hook on the bathroom door was broken. They had three partially used containers of conditioner in our bathroom but no shampoo. When I asked for shampoo at the front desk, she seemed annoyed at me. The other lady at the front desk however was very friendly and offered our kids candy canes off the Christmas tree. Hard to sleep with constant heavy footsteps and a creaking floor from the room above us as late as 1 am and loud guests talking in the hallway. Obvious spills on the front of the dresser drawer. Squished bugs everywhere on walls. Staff does a horrible job cleaning.There was a sign that said they upgraded breakfast options. When it was stocked the breakfast was good but the first morning there was no coffee and the second morning there was no eggs or meat ready and the waffle syrup was empty. When everything was stocked, it was good especially the crispy bacon and sausage links.

rooms are just ok...dirty shower floor, broken tiles. Ithere was a big stain in the bedsheets and some hair, was too tired to report as it was late when I got in, but told the front desk the next day. No housekeeping...not sure why only in USA they still don't do housekeeping since covid they haven't resumed. when I asked for washclothes, they said they ran out. one elevator was broken the entire stay, the other one super slow. breakfast was pretty crappy... will not return there and I advised my company to send colleagues ot another location

This place is awful. Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve been to. The overall facility is in disrepair, elevators out of order, th fitnes room was empty. In my room - hairs and stuff on / in the beds. Shower didn’t work. The towels provided were ripped and had holes in them. The housekeeping does not clean the room until you check out. Worse than a motel 6

Room was very dirty Haro and food all over the floor

Our room was dirty. It had trash on floor hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned either. We questioned the bedding too! Furniture and lobby was trash. Old worn out! Television was on its way out too! We expected much nicer hotel than it was.

Woukd like for the ac units to be able to be a bit more quiet, as the room i stayed in unit was a bit loud. The thermostat was not obeying commands.

It was clean but had some stains on the carpet. Had to change rooms because the first one had a faulty door lock. The second one had a loose lock plate with ascrew missing, but it did lock. Comfortable and clean with lots of parking, even with a towed box trailer. Would stay again.

Needed to be up graded. Tiles missing in bathroom, shower needed rust removed from stall, and re grouted. night shift person's family and friends were in the lobby watching television.

Air conditioning didn’t work in room

Semlls very strongly of oils, beds were very old, Air-conditioned doesn't work.

Our room was 64 degrees. We were unable to change the fan speed or temp. When I tried to call the front desk for help, I found the phone was torn out of the wall. There were 2 elevators. One was out of service, a safety issue one would think since the hotel was at capacity.

The facility was great. But the 1/2 pillows provided were like rocksm best to bring your own

Staff was polite but mad mistakes with my charges. Booked for 2 nights thru Expedia and went back on the app to extend another night. Staff charged me for room after I paid thru Expedia with another $50 incidental fee. So $100 in incidental fees and almost $250 for the extra night. She advised me money will be put back in my card so we’ll see. We asked for fresh towels on day 2 and staff said there wasn’t any clean towels but she’d be back later with new towels. She never came with new towels and our room was never cleaned. Our trash was full and towels on floor. Not pleased.

I needed to add a night to our stay, Oct 27th, so we tried calling the property. The young lady that answered was rude and said she can't do anything, we need to do it online. She said they do not have King Suites available, so they will have to checkout in the morning, and check back in on the 28th at 3pm. I got online, but there were no King Suites available, which I knew. I called the property to see if we could change the following nights to queen rooms, so we did not have to check out and back in. I called, the line was picked up and hung up. I called back, she answered to please hold, and left me on the line for 10 minutes until I hung up. I called back and the line stayed busy. I called my employees and suggested they ask about the queen rooms, so they do not have to check out. She rolled her eyes and said that won't happen. She said she needed to take the $50 incidental on each room and will have to do it again tomorrow when they check back in. The card did not process for the 2nd room, so my employee called, I asked if she could take a card over the phone, my employee said she rolled her eyes again and was swearing under her breath. This was all happening a close to 10pm after a 4 hour drive. Needless to say, we cancelled our following 2 nights and booked at a hotel with more professional staff. We will not be staying at any Wingates in the future.

The check in/out process was easy and friendly. The room accommodated my overnight needs.

Clean room and the staff was very helpful

Front staff upon check in do not greet with a smile. It looks like they could care less about their job or the people. The rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, but the pillows suck! One elevator out of service, the other one really slow! Then there was an alarm that started ringing the one morning which was extremely loud! Had to leave hotel early due to loudness. Heard a staff member talk very loudly to another in a agitated tone about a different staff member causing the alarm to go off too early when they were instructed to wait until 11am. Other than that I'd stay here again.

I had a problem with the first room they gave me and the desk clerk was super kind. She immediately apologized for the issue (I am allergic to what they put in the carpet to help with smell). Then she immediately moved me to a different room. I was so appreciative.

Traffic was incredibly noisy most of the night. Bathrooms were not clean, mold on the interior of the ice bucket lid

Everything was broken; waffle machine, elevator was broken had to carry 3 flights of stairs! People didn't seem to care and breakfast was microwaved but she worked hard!

It was very nice we stayed there for five nights got to leave our stuff in the room. They came and cleaned it every day. Very good breakfast every morning.

The bathroom had no fan and the shower had mildew around it. Their breakfast was bland and dry plus the next day I’m sure they used the bacon left from the day before to scramble it with eggs. The bar for Monday night football was closed. Other than that it was ok.
