Excellent staff (very helpful and willing). Breakfast was great. Parking very good, but a bit intimidating with dozens of 'you must pay' signs. Very nice and convenient location. Whole place was pretty tired and could do with a refresh (one of two elevators was out of order - and looked like the sign had been there a fair while), carpets in room were old and had chewing gum embedded in places.

I prepaid for a parking spot, got to the hotel, and I had no parking space. There is no place in the area to park so our stay was off to a bad start. The room smelled and one out of two elevators was broken. Mold in the bathroom and what looked like feces on the bathroom floor, that was never cleaned and there for our entire stay. Never again.

It's a Holiday Inn so you can't expect the Ritz, but the basics could be better. A broken elevator, musty smelling towels and bed linen, shower controls seized/ difficult to operate and the full english breakfast buffet was always stone cold as if the hot plates weren't working. I couldn't see any point in complaining as I doubt anything would have been rectified by the time I left anyway.

Great room for the price. Really comfortable. Parking was full, but i managed to find some just around the corner which was free as it was a bank holiday. Altogether, a good place to stay. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Very friendly and helpful staff . Handy to have underground parking with liftstraight up to reception . Room was quite spacious and bed was comfortable. Well soundproofed from the planes flying into Heathrow . Nice breakfast with lots of choice although the booth we chose was subject to a draught from the front door and it was a chilly morning . Late check out available for rewards club members

Room was clean, bathroom toilet didn't flush properly. Only one elevator was working upon arrival and remained out of order when we returned from tour 12 days later making it very difficult for visitors to get around. Otherwise very comfortable stay.

Disappointed to not get a parking space after a long drive commuting in bad weather. I had also called and asked about parking in the morning. Other residents were left to eat and drink their own alcohol in the bar area, whilst my husband and I paid for our drinks! The breakfast experience was not good no available tables at 7.15, no cutlery, no jam - hot food cold and fruit selection poor. We ended up eating in bar area where the doors to outside were open and the cleaner was vacuuming. I complained at the desk and as booked through Expedia my breakfasts couldn’t be refunded - gentleman offered to refund our room service at £15 which I agreed as time was limited, this did not cover the cost of 2 breakfasts. The room was clean and beds comfortable, shower curtain smelt damp but bathroom was modern and clean. Sadly not the best experience considering this is a 4 star property.

The lobby floor and exterior is outstanding. As was parking, the restaurant, and just a meeting area to conduct business and grab a drink. It was modern and bright and the food was excellent. The room however was a bit tired, beat-up, and much of the bathroom tile, grout, and bath fixtures needed either deep cleaning or rust/mold removal. It was not "dirty" per se, but just very older looking, as was the yellow wood room fixtures. It feels like the room, carpet, and bathroom are due for a renovation. It wasn't terrible though, After a few hours in the room you don't notice anymore. Also, the water pressure was INCREDIBLE. Best shower I've taken all trip, 5 stars.

Overall, our experience was not bad at all. The breakfast was decent and the staff were friendly. However, the hotel has a very distinct odor similar to a stale air. Although the place is clean but it doesn't smell clean or fresh. The location is ideal because its near the airport and quite near the city center as well.

Carpet was very dirty and stained, I booked a triple room, double bed for my mum, 2 singles for me and my 15yo daughter, on arrival was informed they don't do triple rooms so was given a room with 2 double beds, checked my booking and it had changed to 2 double beds, which made me look silly when I had, for certain booked 1 double bed and 2 single beds, i checked this numerous times before I arrived. Holiday Inn said it was an Hotel.com error not their error. Had no option but to stay but had I otherwise known 2 doubles were the only option, I wouldn't have paid over £300 for 2 nights for this room.

Good wi-fi and the breakfast services were fantastic. However, the bed covers were not changed for the 4nights despite daily room sevices. Its also practically impossible to warm the food once its gone cold.

Enjoyable 3 day stay with breakfast included. The hotel reception and breskfast staff provided excellent service. Our only issue with our room 204 was the key lock card failed several times, 6 to be exact which was an inconvenience.

Truly enjoyed the location in charming Brentford Lock. Our room had a lovely balcony view of the canal and was very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent.

Honestly the best Holiday Inn that I’ve stayed in, in regards to service and level of attention. The location was clean, staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. Upon arrival the kids were greeted with a kids activity packet. The onsite restaurant was top tier and unique to London specific offerings. The location was very close to be the bus line which will get you to the Underground in ~10 short minutes. There are local eateries and a grocery store within walking distance. While the image of the waterfront appears attractive the waterfront was mossy during this visits. However, this was not a deal breaker for us. If I travel to London again I would be a repeat guest.

The hotel was good but there is room for improvement in cleaning of rooms and in staff at the restaurant area. More than once we had issues with staff at the restaurant being reluctant to tend to us or simple refused and sent another person to attend to our requests. Why? I have no idea. However there were some staff members that went above it all and helped, especially at the restaurant. If you provide a service , be happy to do so. Overall the stay was good, but i the restaurant staff needs a lot more training …

The least inviting check-in experience I have ever had. When I mentioned I was checking in, I was asked to fill in my email address and sign the check-in form. Asked the front desk to help us order a cab to go to Heathrow Airport. After getting in the car that was unmarked ( the front desk stated that taxi’s are unmarked in the area. B.S.) the cab driver said he needed cash 62 euro to drive 7 miles. We didn’t have the cash so he said he’d take us to a cash machine. We insisted on going to a currency exchange office like a bank or somewhere more legit than his friends cash machine on the side of some sketchy gas station. The exchange rate 15%. Totally ripped off.

Liked that it had A/C, and there were plenty of pubs around. There was a night bus close and the rail stations were walkable distance.

The hotel is good, the room is spacious, bed is comfortable, and other small things seem in place. The minor problem was the fridge, which does not seem to cool the things (the receptionist said nothing has to be done to turn it on), but maybe I was just unlucky. The coffee/tea supplies are refilled, towels changed, the room cleaned properly. Neighborhood is nice and pleasant, with several supermarkets and pubs nearby, but to Central London plan some 75 minutes travel (bus+underground, hotel is in Zone 4)

Very nice property - more “American style” than most European hotels. Excellent breakfast. Very very convenient to the bus line and a short ride to the train line but not super close to the touristy areas of London - about an hour to Kings Cross station via public transit.

Comfortable and clean, with parking, it’s the second time we’ve stayed here. Brentford train station connects to Waterloo in half an hour, so the hotel is a great option at a good price. Breakfast is good (usual hot and cold options), bath and a shower in the room, plus a decent sofa bed for the teenager.

Stayed for a weekend from Friday to Monday, and really had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a great location and it was really easy to access the tube at Northfields and the national rail at Brentford station. Bus stations are in very close proximity to the hotel as well as lime bikes which provide a lot of options for travel. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the hotel room (and hotel itself) were really clean and well kept. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of options and exceptional quality value. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and if we stay in Brentford again this will definitely be where we come to. Can't recommend this hotel enough.

It's a Holiday Inn so you can't expect the Ritz, but the basics could be better. A broken elevator, musty smelling towels and bed linen, shower controls seized/ difficult to operate and the full english breakfast buffet was always stone cold as if the hot plates weren't working. I couldn't see any point in complaining as I doubt anything would have been rectified by the time I left anyway.

We loved the location on the locks. The hotel Is also convenient distance from Kew Gardens via the bus. Breakfast is self service, although plentiful and good variety. The quality was average with most items items being luke warm! With insufficient number of staff to give you a more pleasant dining experience.

Excellent air con. We had an executive room with a huge balcony overlooking the Gauging station. Excellent towels and selection of toiletries. Breakfast was better than I had expected. Poached eggs on request. Coffee could have been better, but we found Sam's round the corner where the coffee was spot on.

Our stay was good the room was clean and the staff were nice. There was only 1 elevator working so sometimes it got cramped in there. The room was not soundproof/noise resistant so we could hear a lot of talking and doors banging, but either wise it was a nice area to stay in.
